Chapter 755: Chapter 755: On the Eve of the Grand Wedding (1)

By the time the two arrived in G City, it was not yet eight thirty, and Xavier Estrada came to pick them up in his car.

Following Bryan Hawkins’s previous instructions, Xavier Estrada drove them directly to the Photography Studio where they’d taken their wedding photos. It was only when Carolline Ruiz got out of the car that she realized that they hadn’t gone straight home.

The Photography Studio was still brightly lit, clearly waiting for their valued guests.

"There’s not much time left until the wedding, so, if you’re not too tired, we can pick out the photos before we head back. Axel and Mom are already inside." Someone clearly made this decision beforehand, and even if Carolline Ruiz were really tired by now, she wouldn’t say so, especially since the Photography Studio staff were still accommodating them during their original resting time.

"I won’t be tired, and I want to see our photos. Let’s go pick them out so they can finish work early." Carolline Ruiz also knew that there were less than ten days left before their wedding and that there was still a lot to prepare afterwards.

The selected photos would likely need to be enlarged by the Photography Studio, and there might be other details she didn’t know about that needed sorting out. As the bride, she seemed to have hardly worried about the wedding from start to finish, which she considered very fortunate.

"Let’s go in then." Bryan Hawkins took her hand, and the two walked inside hand in hand.

Xavier Estrada parked the car and quietly followed behind.

At the entrance, Axel ran over from Emily Hill’s side and took the initiative to hold Carolline Ruiz’s hand. "Mom, the photos are so beautiful! I almost didn’t recognize you."

Axel’s sweet words made Carolline Ruiz shake her head. This little mouth could already charm people at such a young age! She couldn’t help but glare at the man beside her.

The man shrugged, spreading his hands, feeling very innocent and wronged once again.

He didn’t teach Axel to say those things. Some talents came naturally.

"Really?" Carolline Ruiz was led away by Axel. Emily Hill was sitting in front of a computer, and Carolline Ruiz called out, "Mom."

"Hmm, I’ve looked through them several times and can’t bear to part with a single one. If we keep them all, I don’t know how much money that’d cost." Emily Hill was a bit astonished. She was quite satisfied with every photo, but the Photography Studio had a limit on the number of free prints, and any extras had to be purchased by the client.

It could only be said that the photographer from the Photography Studio was a master at taking pictures; the photos were so good that she liked every single one of them.

"That’s not right. It’s pointless to keep so many photos." Carolline Ruiz shook her head, feeling that keeping them all would be too expensive. Plus, she thought it was enough to keep just a few of each style they’d taken, which were intentionally shot in bulk to provide a wider selection.

"Then pick them yourself, I can’t help you." Emily Hill stood up and let Carolline Ruiz sit down.

"Mom, Axel agrees with Grandma. Let’s keep all of them." The clever little Axel joined in the persuasion.

"What’s there to keep? Go out and let Uncle Xavier drive you and Grandma home. It’s late and do you still need to go to school tomorrow?" Carolline Ruiz pinched Axel’s cheek a little forcefully with a stern look on her face.

Axel immediately pouted, "Tomorrow is the weekend. I can stay up late tonight. Grandma said so before."

"..." Carolline Ruiz initially thought it was Bryan Hawkins who had said it, but since even Emily Hill had said the same thing to the child, she had no choice but to compromise, "All right, since it’s the weekend, I’ll let you stay up late. But remember, you must not lie in tomorrow morning. If you’re really sleepy, just take a nap at noon."
