"Aren’t you happy that I call you sister?" Carolline laughed, having solved the matter with a box of egg tarts.

Avery Graham really came well-prepared, bringing food and drinks for Carolline.

While Carolline was drinking her milk tea, Gary Skate arrived, "Yo, hiding in here and having afternoon tea, is there any for me?"

He walked out of the elevator and smelled the unique aroma on this floor and saw the dessert boxes in the trash bin. The nurses were looking at him with evasive eyes, but he didn’t explain and went straight to find Carolline.

"Yes, there’s one more box. Help yourself." Avery had heard about Gary’s situation before, knowing that he initially came to force Carolline to resign, but his plan was seen through.

This guy is quite loyal to his friends.

"Well, thank you." Gary didn’t hold back, took the box of egg tarts, and said, "Your leave request, including the three days for taking wedding photos, has been approved."

Carolline had no more leave left this month, and she had already taken quite a few days off.

"Taking wedding photos takes three days? What kind of wedding photos are you guys taking?" Avery’s eyes widened in disbelief. Many people just took wedding photos in one day, two days at most. But Carolline’s wedding photos would take three days?

"I don’t know." Carolline didn’t have to worry about the wedding arrangements; her in-laws and her parents were handling the guests. Other than asking Avery to help provide some desserts, she didn’t have much to do.

Of course, Avery’s desserts had to be tasted by Carolline’s grandmother and Sophia Lawson. Sophia had high standards, and Carolline was worried she might not appreciate Avery’s desserts.

After all, the level of sophistication that Sophia was exposed to was different from what Carolline experienced.

Having Avery make the desserts was indeed mostly a favor, as Carolline wanted to help boost her business and make her name more prominent.

"I’ve never seen a bride-to-be so unconcerned with her own wedding. Carolline, are you too lucky?" Avery sighed.

"There’s only one Bryan Hawkins in the world, and there will never be a second one," Gary reminded her coldly, warning Avery not to indulge in wishful thinking.

"..." Avery glared at Gary. This man had a sharp tongue. She was just sighing. She wasn’t coveting Bryan Hawkins. "I have a boyfriend, just so you know. If I manage to catch the bridal bouquet this time, I’ll get married right after the New Year, show you guys."

Avery was so annoyed that they underestimated her.

Gary Skate and Carolline: "..."

Obviously, when Avery talked about getting married, she was just venting her anger. Nobody would treat marriage so lightly and say it like that.

Carolline was thinking that she should let everyone know not to let Avery catch the bouquet. This girl could not be casually provoked like that.

"Isn’t half a day’s leave tomorrow enough?" Carolline saw that she had taken a whole day’s leave tomorrow and thought it was just for trying on the wedding dress, which shouldn’t take a whole day, right?

"You should ask your husband, not me. Well, my business is done here. I need to go enjoy my afternoon tea." After saying that, Gary took the box of egg tarts and also took Avery’s bottle of yogurt on the table, which she hadn’t had time to drink yet.

Carolline and Avery: "..."

"What are you going to do with your leave tomorrow?" After Gary left, Avery asked with great curiosity.

"Trying on the wedding dress." Carolline replied calmly.

"The wedding dress has arrived? Can I go and watch?" Avery was even more excited than Carolline. They all knew Carolline’s wedding had been delayed till the end of the year because of this eye-catching wedding dress.
