Bryan Hawkins ordered Benjamin Ford to hand over the three suspects to confront Debbie Duncan. Along with Jane Auclair’s testimony, Debbie was doomed this time. Even though the child’s life was not in danger, her actions had already violated criminal laws.

Upon learning that Elena Duncan had been successfully rescued, Debbie Duncan regretted her actions. She was then taken to the Detention Center to await her trial and sentencing.

Katie pushed Cole Duncan’s wheelchair to the door of Elena’s ward. Just as Katie wanted to knock on the door, Cole stopped her, "Forget it, let’s go back."

Daisy nodded, and just then, Daisy’s mother brought in some delicious food.

Looking at the delicious dishes, Elena couldn’t help but swallow her saliva. She had been eating only bread and milk these few days and was really hungry.
