Chapter 359: Chapter 359: Frequency Problem (5)

At 8:30 the next morning, Axel woke up, enjoying the love of everyone in his great-grandmother’s house. After a sumptuous dinner, breakfast was also quite lavish, and it seemed like he hadn’t said anything, but his great-grandmother had prepared him a sandwich he loved.
Last night, he slept alone. His grandparents both told him stories, and in order to decide who would sleep with him, they almost quarreled. In the end, he decided to sleep alone, and the argument stopped.
"Great-grandma, how did you know I loved sandwiches when we just met?" In his great-grandparents’ house, every time it was porridge with salted vegetables, which he really didn’t like at all. He could handle it occasionally, but having it too frequently was unbearable for him.
"Because you’re just like your father when he was a child. He also loved these things. Axel, you have no idea how much you resemble your father as a child." The old lady especially liked Axel and her conversations with him were always sweet.
"Really?" Axel naturally believed her.
When Austin Hawkins and Sophia Lawson came downstairs, they squeezed in at the dining table and talked to Axel. It was the first time Axel felt like he was the center of attention, like a little sun.
At his great-grandparents’ house, it was already good for him not to be bullied by them. He even felt that maybe his birth had affected his mother and grandmother since his great-grandfather didn’t treat them well either.
"Of course, why would your great-grandmother lie to you?" Seeing Axel had finished one sandwich, the old lady took another and had someone fry two eggs for him and prepare a glass of milk.
Axel ate it all, leaving his belly stuffed full.
"Why haven’t Mom and Dad gotten up yet? Today is her rare day off, and they promised to take me out to play." Axel’s eyes kept looking upstairs, but even as he finished breakfast and the time was approaching nine, Carolline Ruiz and Bryan Hawkins still hadn’t appeared.
"Where did Mom promise to take you to play?" Sophia Lawson asked hurriedly, "Let Grandpa and Grandma take you instead. Your mom must have been so tired last night. Let her sleep well."
The house had good soundproofing facilities, but when walking past Bryan Hawkins’ room, the loud noises from inside still startled Sophia Lawson, so she estimated that Carolline Ruiz must have been unable to get up because of being tired by their eldest son.
"Why is she tired? My mom went back to her room earlier than I did." Axel couldn’t quite understand. The important thing was not where they would go to play, but that his mom had said he could play with Elena Duncan.
"Uh..." Sophia Lawson suddenly didn’t know how to explain this to Axel, "You’ll know when you grow up."
In the end, Sophia Lawson could only say such a perfunctory sentence.
Axel became even more puzzled. What was the thing that he could only know when he grew up?
"Axel, it’s like this. Your mom worked the night shift the day before yesterday, and also went to pick you and your dad up yesterday, so she must not have had a good sleep. Your dad loves to chat at night. When your grandma passed by their room last night, she heard them talking, so she guessed that your mom is tired. That’s why she can’t get up today." The old lady explained very well to Axel, and also solved Sophia Lawson’s urgent dilemma.
At the same time, she glared at her, warning her not to speak carelessly in front of Axel again.
"Oh, I see." Axel was relieved.
"How about Grandpa and Grandma take you to play? We’ll go to the amusement park, okay?" Austin Hawkins hurriedly persuaded him. Who knows how his eldest son exhausted his daughter-in-law, maybe they wouldn’t wake up until noon.</p
