While at the hospital, Mia Parker, Avery Graham, and even Lucy Wade flew over to see her and the baby after learning about them. The three of them, in perfect harmony, bought several large bags of diapers, ranging from small sizes to large sizes.

Looking at the piles of diapers, Carolline Ruiz felt that even if Axel used them until he was three, they would never run out. She might even be able to open a diaper store with the surplus.

Megan Clifton also came and brought toys instead of diapers. She bought rattles, model airplanes, and model cars. For the airplane and car toys, wouldn’t Axel have to be at least three years old to play with them?

When they were discharged from the hospital, the car Andy Aguirre drove was packed with bags and gifts. The remaining space was only big enough for Carolline and Auntie, who held the baby in her arms.

Emily Hill and Henry Ruiz followed closely in another car.

After all, Andy Aguirre was a man. So, he was excluded as soon as he dropped off Carolline and her family at the door. Garth Aguirre and his wife hurried over to help and sent Andy Aguirre back home right away.

Mia Parker and the others had planned to come visit Carolline and the baby as well. However, according to the old people’s beliefs, it was best for unmarried women not to enter the postpartum period room. Thus, Carolline’s postpartum period was destined to be quiet.

Every day, Carolline lay in bed, waiting for Axel’s hunger to feed him. She couldn’t help with changing diapers or bathing Axel.

The first ten days were mainly handled by Emily Hill, the next ten by Henry Ruiz, and finally, Garth Aguirre and his wife took turns to help. Emily Hill had weekends off, and there was also Aunt Marina. Carolline spent the postpartum period very well.

Both mother and child recovered quickly, and after forty days of nourishment, they were both chubby and healthy.

When they brought Axel for vaccinations at the hospital, he was so adorable that everyone who saw him wanted to play with him.

Axel rarely cried, and Carolline was often moved to tears by him. She had never seen a baby as well-behaved as her Axel. At one point, she felt she owed him because she lost his father as soon as he was born.

Once the forty-day confinement period was over, Carolline and Axel were taken back to their parents’ home. Aunt Marina continued to help, charging ten thousand yuan per month. Carolline had only ninety days of maternity leave. She would have to go back to work when it was over, so they needed an aunt to take care of the baby.

The day after they left the confinement period, Carolline received a phone call from Mrs. Li.

At that time, Mrs. Li and Sophia Lawson were already downstairs in their building. Carolline, surprised, hurriedly went down to meet them personally. Seeing the well-cared-for and chubby Carolline, Mrs. Li was also very pleased.
