Chapter 111: Chapter 111 Kidnapped (9) Chapter 111: Chapter 111 Kidnapped (9) “If Miss Fong won’t say, then I’ll call Mr. Liu directly.” After speaking, the man turned and left without showing any respect or submission in his eyes towards Matilda Ferguson, only indifference.

“You–” Matilda Ferguson wanted to swear. The people Liu Jingyang brought in were too uncooperative.

She gave them money to do the job, but now they had the nerve to drag their feet with her.

She watched as the man made an electric arc and entered the warehouse. She didn’t know what he said to George Morris, but when she threw her cigarette butt on the ground, her heart suddenly shattered. She didn’t know how far things had progressed inside since Carolline Ruiz hadn’t screamed or made any other noise. It was as if nothing had happened.

If that was the case, she wouldn’t settle for it, nor would she let George Morris pay the money.

With that thought, Matilda walked towards the warehouse. Initially, she had no interest in witnessing the scene in person, but now she felt uneasy if she didn’t see it for herself.

Probably less than a minute later, before Matilda Ferguson could enter the warehouse, several car headlights flashed behind her, and a few cars stopped right behind her.

Benjamin Ford led a group of men straight into the warehouse, while others were stationed outside, on standby.

The group didn’t even glance at Matilda Ferguson – some of them even shoved her to the ground without care. Matilda wanted to scream, but seeing the group, she couldn’t help but feel terrified, knowing she couldn’t afford to mess with them.

Carolline Ruiz saw more people coming in. Her hands were trembling slightly, holding a shard of glass, ready to plunge deeper into her neck. She didn’t know why these people were there, but she was determined not to let herself face whatever might happen next. So in her mind, she was prepared to die.

Benjamin Ford saw Carolline’s actions and quickly moved forward to grab her hand, removing the shards of glass from it, “Don’t be afraid. Tell me, is your name Carolline Ruiz?”

“…” Carolline didn’t answer. She didn’t know if she could trust this man’s question, as they might treat her even more cruelly after confirming her identity.

“Bryan Cooper, do you know him?” Benjamin Ford mentioned Bryan’s name directly, and in that moment, he saw a change in Carolline’s eyes, “That’s right, he asked me to come and save you. My boss owes him a favor, are you Carolline Ruiz?”

“…Yes.” Carolline admitted her identity while panting heavily, and at that moment, she completely believed Benjamin’s words, just because he said Bryan’s name.

“Someone take Miss Ruiz to the hospital as quickly as possible.” Benjamin looked at the bloody mess around Carolline’s neck, finding it unbearable, quickly gave the order, and comforted Carolline, “You can trust those guys completely. I’ll notify Bryan right away. Don’t say anything, and try to conserve your strength.”

Carolline nodded slightly, raising her eyes to where Ben Parker had been. He was her classmate who had been implicated due to her situation. He hadn’t woken up yet, and she wasn’t sure how severe the blow was that he had received earlier.

“Take that guy too and send him to the hospital.” Benjamin Ford saw where Carolline was looking and ordered someone to take Ben Parker away.

Carolline gave him a weak, grateful smile. The next second, she was horizontally carried and placed in a car, while someone pressed something tightly against her wound.

Matilda Ferguson heard everything Benjamin said, and naturally knew that Bryan was the one who had sent people to rescue Carolline. Her heart skipped a beat, as she never knew that Bryan had such a powerful presence behind him.
