Scum Daddy Dreams Of Stealing My Mommy!
Chapter 71: Christopher Hart Finds Hope

Chapter 71: Chapter 71: Christopher Hart Finds Hope

Kane felt overwhelmed. He was cupping his chin with one hand, anxiously pacing in circles.

"Wait, let me make a call to ask someone. Don’t rush."

He picked up his cellphone, but, unsure if Amelia Garcia’s cellphone had been confiscated, he didn’t dare to call her and instead reached out to Snow Fitch.

Snow was still asleep and was shocked upon receiving the call!

"What did you say? You secretly took Christopher’s daughter away yesterday? My God... you really are..."

She couldn’t find the words to describe it; her stuttering mind short-circuited.

"Aunt Fitch, my sister is sick. Please think of something fast!" Seeing Kane’s disorganized expression, Noah took the phone and actively communicated with Snow.

Snow was shocked again, "Noah? Why are you there too? Do you know about your sister?"

"I’ve known for a long time! It was Mom who didn’t want us to know, that’s why I pretended not to know."

"My god..." Early in the morning, Snow felt her brain wasn’t functioning properly.

"Aunt Fitch, my sister has a fever, what should we do? We dare not go to the hospital. We’ll definitely get caught by that man." Noah was almost crying, bringing the conversation back to the urgent matter.

Snow calmed down and instructed, "Noah, listen to me. Your sister has a special condition. Once she falls ill and gets a fever, it’s very dangerous. You have no choice now; you must take her to the hospital right away, otherwise, if something goes wrong..."

Noah was terrified. Looking at his sister lying unconscious on the bed, her face flush red, tears spun in his eyes.

"Give the phone to Kane. I need to talk to him."

The phone returned to Kane’s hand. Snow briefly explained, "Hope was premature, her lungs were underdeveloped, and she has always had sequelae. A fever can easily cause a lung infection, which can be very severe. Christopher was going to operate on her soon. With what you guys have done... Ahh, I really hadn’t even dreamed of this! Never mind that for now, you must take her to the hospital right now!"

Kane found it difficult, "But if that person catches me, her identity will be revealed."

Snow hesitated, "True... If Christopher finds out that you took his daughter, he will surely suspect Amelia."

After a brief consideration, Snow nobly said, "Where are you guys? I’ll come and meet you. You take Noah and Ethan and hide temporarily. Don’t let yourselves be found."

"Alright, we’ll do as you say."

An hour later, Snow arrived at the hospital with Hope, who had a persistent high fever.

Just as the child was rushed into the emergency room, police cars arrived with sirens blaring.

Snow’s heart pounded, her hands shaking uncontrollably as she watched the police officer approach her, silently praying to Heaven not to let it end too terribly.

"Ma’am, please show your identification," the officer asked.

She smiled and immediately produced her ID card.

Another officer entered the emergency room and soon came out, nodding to his colleague to confirm, "It’s that little girl."

The leading officer immediately made a call.

"Mr. Hart, we have found your beloved daughter."

Elsewhere, Christopher, who was having breakfast at his villa, paused, his expression strangely calm as if this was all within his expectations.

"Where is my daughter?"

"In the hospital, she is sick, with an unrelenting fever."

Christopher suddenly stood up. A second ago he had been calm, but now his face darkened like storm clouds, furious enough to devour anyone.

That bastard! To take his daughter and not take care of her, even landing her in the hospital!

Amelia sat beside him, her appetite gone due to anger and rage. Hearing the man’s phone call, she hurriedly asked, "Is it Hope? Was she found?"

Christopher stared at her.

That morning, seeing the paternity test results sent by Lucas King, he hadn’t been this enraged.

But now, thinking of his fragile, sickly daughter in the hospital again, he couldn’t help but unleash his fury on this damn woman!

"Yes, she’s been found, but the situation is not good." His face terrifyingly grim, he dropped these words and headed out the door.

Amelia’s heart skipped a beat, and she shivered all over.

What does ’the situation is not good’ mean?

Did she run into danger again?

She got up and chased after him, asking anxiously, "What happened to Hope? Did someone hurt her? Where are you going now?"

Christopher didn’t speak; he just got into the car, and the driver started the engine.

Amelia, worried about her daughter, naturally couldn’t be at ease and briskly opened the other car door, inviting herself in.

"Say something! What exactly happened to Hope?"

She was as restless as ants on a hot pan, but Christopher’s lips were like clams that just wouldn’t open.

At the hospital, Snow Fitch heard Christopher’s voice over the officer’s phone and prayed once again.

For her best friend, she was all in.

But she didn’t know if she could escape by luck this time.

If Christopher firmly believed she was a trafficker, she might even end up in prison.

My God—what a mess this is!

Hope had just been hooked up to an IV when Christopher stormed in like a tornado.

Seeing his daughter on the bed, he gently caressed her cheek and brushed her bangs to the side.

Amelia followed him and, seeing Hope safe, finally felt her heart drop back into place.

But what was wrong with Hope?

Seeing the doctor standing there and Christopher only focusing on his daughter without asking anything, she had no choice but to ask, "Doctor, is the child sick?"

"Yes, a lung infection, a fever of 40 degrees, she had convulsions when she first arrived, but luckily we stabilized her in time."

Amelia’s face went pale.

Oh God! Fever convulsions!

Before the doctor could finish speaking, Christopher suddenly turned around, his demeanor deadly, and walked out.

"Where is that bastard?"

He asked, and Fuller immediately led the way, "The officer said the person who brought Miss Hope to the hospital is in the resting room over there; they insisted on waiting for you, saying they had something to explain."

Wow!

Explain?

Did they really expect him to show mercy?

After what they did to his daughter, sparing that bastard’s life would already be exceptionally generous!

Hearing their conversation, Amelia’s heart leapt to her throat.

All along the way, Christopher wouldn’t say a word; she had absolutely no idea what was happening and didn’t know if the person who took Hope yesterday was Kane.

Now seeing Christopher’s murderous intent, she had no choice but to hurry after him, even preparing herself for her identity to be revealed!

There was no way around it—when necessary, she must protect Kane; she certainly couldn’t let him end up in prison!

However, to her utmost surprise, the "kidnapper" turned out not to be Kane, but—Snow?!

Upon pushing the door open and seeing Snow Fitch, Christopher was equally stunned, then his brow furrowed deeply, his expression becoming extremely grim!

—These people had actually banded together to deceive him!

"Why is it you?" Although it was a question, it actually served as a warning—warning Snow not to get involved in this mess.

The moment Snow pushed the door, she stood up in shock.

Seeing Christopher and Amelia following behind, she was extremely nervous, yet still tried to appear calm.

"Mr. Hart, I’m terribly sorry; I ran into Hope at the hospital yesterday, I liked her so much that I took her home. I had Hope call you, saying she’d be back after playing for a couple of days, but unexpectedly, Hope suddenly fell ill..."
