Scum Daddy Dreams Of Stealing My Mommy!
Chapter 35 Tearing Up the Tricky Woman

Chapter 35: Chapter 35 Tearing Up the Tricky Woman

It was rare to see him losing his cool and feeling frustrated, Benny Palmer couldn’t be happier, bouncing dangerously on the edge.

"You know, after she left you, her life has been pretty good! Young and beautiful, successful in her career, even foreigners are chasing after her. If you truly can’t let go, you should make a move sooner—compared to the happiness of your lower half, what’s the loss of face? Don’t you think?"

"..."

"Hey, I’m talking to you. Why are you silent again? ’Happiness’, do you understand? In these years, you haven’t even touched a finger of Lily Garcia, right?"

"I know you are particularly fussy, with a psychological aversion to impurity! But at this vibrant age, to abstain for over four years, tsk tsk... utterly inhumane."

Unable to endure any longer, Christopher Hart picked up a disinfectant wipe next to him and hurled it furiously.

"What are you babbling about in front of the children?"

Benny grinned mischievously, fearing that he might flip the table and leave, he quickly picked up a glass of water to drink and paused the provocation.

"Christopher." The table had just quieted down when suddenly a familiar voice was heard.

Both men turned their heads, and it was Lily Garcia!

"Young Master Palmer, long time no see." Dressed in a Chanel haute couture suit, Lily Garcia approached with a gentle and sweet smile, as if descended from heaven.

Benny unexpectedly raised an eyebrow, "Yo, what a coincidence, Lily, you’re also here to eat?"

Lily Garcia smiled and said, "Yes, I had a friend meeting planned, but they just called to say they couldn’t make it, and I was about to leave when I saw you guys!"

Christopher, already in a bad mood, was even less kind upon seeing her, glancing up and asking, "Who did you have an appointment with?"

A sudden stiffness crossed Lily’s smiling face, but it only lasted a moment before she regained her composure and uninvitedly sat down next to Christopher Hart.

"Christopher..."

"About the post last time, I know I was wrong..."

"You said I shouldn’t see you, and I’ve obediently obeyed. I haven’t bothered you for so long, isn’t that punishment enough?"

"I was really meeting a friend tonight, look, she just called to say she couldn’t come..."

Lily took out her cellphone, deliberately opened the call log, and showed it to him.

But Christopher was unmoved, not even flicking his eyes.

Across the table, Benny watched them, sighing helplessly in his heart.

This Miss Garcia from the Garcia family, truly pitiful.

Falling in love with this cold-hearted ice block.

Thinking she could move him with all she had, but in the end, she only moved herself.

Lily talked nonstop for a while, and Christopher did not utter a word, making the scene truly awkward.

Feeling humiliated, the woman sulkily pouted her mouth, with tears swirling in her eyes.

"Christopher, since Lily happens to be here, let’s have a meal together, don’t be like this."

Unable to watch any longer, Benny helped mediate.

Lily immediately looked at Young Master Palmer gratefully and cautiously reached out her hand, holding onto Christopher’s arm and gently shaking it.

"Christopher... I’m alone, I don’t even know where to go eat, I haven’t been with you and Hope for a long time, I’ve missed you..."

Little Hope turned her head and said, "Aunt Lily, I’ve been happy you haven’t come to visit me! I’ve even recovered from my illness faster!"

Lily Garcia: "..."

Hearing this comment, Benny turned his head away petrified, wanting to laugh but feeling it was inappropriate.

Like father, like daughter, this little lady’s talent for sharp-tongued retorts was truly—remarkable.

At this moment, Christopher’s mind and heart were filled with Amelia Garcia, that damn woman.

Especially thinking about the foreigners pursuing her, possibly being close, eating and drinking together, and what might follow, his heart flared up even more!

He was in no mood to pay attention to Lily Garcia.

But Lily took his silence for acquiescence, quietly heaved a sigh of relief, shamelessly stayed, and waited for the food to arrive.

————

During the banquet, Amelia Garcia received a call from the nanny at home and excused herself from the private room.

After the call, she went to the restroom on the way.

In front of the luxurious vanity, she had just washed her hands and was turning to leave when someone entered.

Their eyes met, and both were startled.

However, the next second, Amelia acted as if she did not recognize the person and tried to walk past.

But Lily Garcia wouldn’t let her, grabbing her arm.

"What are you doing?" In the moment Amelia turned around, she shrugged off her touch, her expression indifferent.

"You’re eating here too?" Lily asked, her face full of suspicion and barely concealable acidity.

"So what if I am?"

Lily stared at her, suddenly falling silent as she pondered what exactly was going on.

Could it be that Christopher had arranged to meet her here?

No, that couldn’t be...

It must be that she was secretly following Christopher, trying to engineer a coincidental meeting to make herself felt in his presence.

"No matter if you are Amelia Garcia or not, I warn you not to delude yourself. The Hart Family has already recognized me, they are just waiting for the right time. Christopher will marry me with much fanfare. I will be the only Mrs. Hart!"

Amelia scoffed disdainfully, "Are you out of your mind? Christopher is just your treasure, you think everyone else cares about him? In my eyes, he’s just a big hoof, not even worthy to carry my shoes!"

Lily was stunned by these words, at a loss for words for a moment.

"Oh yes! There’s something else, just because I haven’t approached you doesn’t mean I’m unaware."

"The smear campaign on the internet a while back, that was your doing, wasn’t it? Although the storm has already settled, I’ve had the lawyers gather evidence. Whenever I want, I can hold you legally accountable!"

"Miss Garcia, we don’t know each other, we have no grudges. Business should be conducted with integrity, but if you maliciously slander and damage my reputation—"

She deliberately paused, watching the other’s face grow visibly darker with anger before continuing, "I’ll make sure you won’t just miss out on being Mrs. Hart, you might even end up discredited and in prison!"

Amelia wasn’t just making empty threats. She truly planned this and was already taking steps to implement it.

Lily was choked up for a long while without a response, and when she heard "go to prison," she suddenly looked up, inexplicably nervous, and tried to counter with a forced air, "If someone retaliated against you for your own bad behavior, why blame me?"

"Not you? But your fiancé has already admitted it, even apologized to me on your behalf," Amelia teased her, inventing the story convincingly.

"If it wasn’t him, then he’s been wrongly accused?"

"You’re lying! Christopher would never apologize to you! Who do you think you are!"

"Yes, I am nobody, but I seem to recall someone eagerly begging me to design a full set of bridal jewelry, waiting in line for months, even willing to pay extra deposit."

"You—"

"Just be a good person! Don’t dig your own grave!"

Seeing her reaction, Amelia felt very relieved inside, scoffed coldly, and turned to leave stylishly.

What misfortune, just coming out to have a meal and encountering a mad dog snapping wildly.

However, the more neurotic Lily acted, the more it showed that Christopher wasn’t treating her well.

It’s strange, they’ve been entangled for seven or eight years, why hasn’t Christopher married her yet?

Waiting for the right time?

What time?

Lost in her thoughts, Amelia didn’t notice the dark figure approaching her.

Until—

"Ah—mmm mmm mmm..."

Her arm was suddenly seized with force, her mouth covered, and before she could struggle or resist, the world seemed to whirl, and it suddenly went dark, followed by the sound of a door closing.
