Scum Daddy Dreams Of Stealing My Mommy!
Chapter 210: A Public Fallout

Chapter 210: Chapter 210: A Public Fallout

Christopher Hart ground his molars in rage!

Who would believe that the birthday party for his beloved daughter would turn into his own Battle Realm?

His romantic rival had to show up to annoy him, his own son stabbed him in the heart, his ex-wife completely disregarded him, and even her best friend found a way to beat him over the head!

When he had said this before, he had suspected the identity of "Snow Fitch’s nephew," purposely causing them trouble, to force her slip up.

Who would have thought that the child’s identity would be revealed so quickly?

Now that the truth was laid bare, there was no need for him to test the waters anymore.

Snow Fitch just had to come, and even went so far as to parrot his words, bringing his own nephew to give him a secret slap in the face.

The worst part was, they had the gall to speak so righteously.

The atmosphere once again became awkward and frozen, with some rejoicing, some in despair, some in bad spirits, and others in joy.

Benny Palmer couldn’t stand to watch any longer, mourning for his friend internally, and quickly coughed tactically to help smooth things over, "Um... let’s not just stand around here, let’s go inside. Kids, go have fun! There’s a clown over there giving out gifts!"

Under the neon lights, a clown wearing a tall black hat was performing magic tricks, while another clown with colorful wigs was twisting balloons.

A group of children cheered around them, and some ran off happily with their uniquely shaped balloons.

Noah and Ethan saw this and their eyes lit up with excitement!

"Mom..." Noah turned his head, had only called out once, when Amelia Garcia encouraged him with a smile, "Go on and have fun, take good care of your two little brothers."

"Okay!"

With the older brothers gone, Amelia Garcia looked down at her daughter holding her hand, "Hope, you go play too."

"Mommy, come with me!"

Snow Fitch also pulled her, "Let’s go, let’s have fun together, what’s there to talk about with these men?"

She, of course, had nothing to say to Christopher Hart.

But then again, Kane was there.

She feared that once she walked away, Christopher Hart would bully Kane again.

Seeing her troubled expression, Christopher Hart caught her thoughts with a glance and snorted contemptuously, "What, you think I’d eat him alive?"

"..." Amelia Garcia gave him a disdainful look, unable to respond.

"Kane..."

"You go ahead, he won’t do anything to me." Kane patted her, exchanging a smile as their eyes met.

This scene ignited another flame in Christopher Hart’s eyes.

Benny Palmer and Lucas King feared that he would lash out in an impulse, and secretly observed him, ready to restrain him at any moment.

On the other side, after the children had run off, but before they reached the clown’s performance area, they were stopped by someone.

Emma Carter and George Hart had arrived early and had been chatting with relatives all along, completely ignoring the birthday girl, their own granddaughter.

In fact, this was the first time they were celebrating their granddaughter’s birthday.

But deep down, the one they really wanted to see was not this granddaughter.

They craned their necks and finally saw Amelia Garcia arriving late with her children.

The couple got up immediately to greet Noah and Ethan as they ran in.

"Sweetheart, come here, it’s your birthday today, right? Grandma has specially come to celebrate with you." Emma Carter spoke with utmost tenderness, her face beaming with a friendly smile.

George Hart looked at the two boys, as if seeing his son’s childhood likeness, and was also grinning, "These two lads, they’re even handsomer than their dad was at their age!"

Noah and Ethan, stopped in their tracks, looked at them with obvious displeasure.

Snow Fitch’s nephew, clueless, continued running towards the clown, but when the brothers tried to follow, Emma Carter and George Hart each grabbed one.

"What are you doing! I don’t know you."

"I want to play, let me go."

Both brothers resisted their touch, twisting and turning to get away.

"Child, I’m your grandma, and this is your grandpa, how can you not recognize us? We’ve met before, at Snow Fitch’s house," Emma Carter explained patiently.

"I don’t remember!" Noah denied bluntly.

"Alright, alright, you don’t remember, but grandma remembers you. Oh dear, grandma has missed you so much these days, and today I finally got to see you. Come on, let grandma hug you!"

As she spoke, Emma Carter reached out her arms to hug Noah.

But Noah unceremoniously pushed her away.

Emma Carter was caught off guard while squatting down and was pushed to the ground.

George Hart saw this and his face darkened, "You child, how can you be so impolite? This is your grandma, an elder! You... ah!"

He hadn’t finished scolding when a sudden sharp pain struck him. Turning back, he saw another who had grabbed his hand and viciously bit down.

Ethan broke free and immediately tugged at his brother, "Let’s go!"

"Stand right there!" George Hart’s face turned stern, the pain managed to grab hold of the child, intending to give them a good scolding!

This was too unruly!

What would they become when they grew up?

Ethan was dragged back before he could steady himself, Amelia Garcia heard the commotion and rushed over, swiftly protecting her son and looking defensively at Emma Carter and the other.

"If you have grievances, take them out on me, don’t bully two children!" she said uncompromisingly.

Emma Carter got up from the ground and seeing Amelia Garcia only fueled her rage, "Look at what you’ve taught them! One is shoving and the other biting, not a shred of manners! Worse than brats!"

Amelia knew better than anyone what her children were like.

Noah and Ethan, facing their so-called grandparents with snarling expressions, clung to their mother, stealing glances at them with eyes full of rejection.

Amelia knew the children were scared, she soothed them with a pat from each hand and then faced her former in-laws with a calm and dignified tone, "Whether or not the children are well-raised is my business. If you despise them so, stay away from them!"

After she spoke, she looked down at the two brothers with a gentle voice, comforting, "It’s okay, Mommy’s here, don’t be afraid."

Hearing this, Emma Carter grew even more infuriated, pointing her trembling finger, "You’re still defending them! If you keep this up, you’ll ruin them both!"

Guests gradually began to gather around, eagerly watching the spectacle.

Before arriving, Amelia thought tonight’s conflict would be between Christopher and Kane.

Little did she expect, it turned out to be a standoff between her and her former in-laws with her three children.

With so many onlookers, she didn’t want to argue publicly and leave a bad impression on the children.

So, after a few seconds of silence, she decided to calm the waters.

"Forget it, I don’t want to argue with you. Noah, Ethan, let’s go have some fun." She whispered to her sons and prepared to leave, wrapping her arms around the two brothers.

But how could Emma Carter let her go easily?

She had it all planned out, to take advantage of everyone present to expose her "crimes," to have everyone judge her, to pressure her into returning the children to the Hart Family!

"What playtime? First, make things clear. With so many eyes upon us today, these two children are the blood of the Hart Family. You selfishly hid them for four or five years— isn’t it time now to let them recognize their ancestry?"

Emma Carter’s righteous indignation, in front of all the onlookers, bluntly laid down her words.

Amelia, who wanted to quell the situation, was forced to become the center of attention.

Countless eyes were fixed on her with a watch-the-fire-burn-from-across-the-river look.

The two little ones she was holding sensed the tense atmosphere and clung tighter to her.

Amelia’s heart fluttered for a moment, but it was just that—a moment. Her lovely, delicate features then showed a hint of disdain as she spoke in a measured tone, "What if both of these children were girls, would you still be so eager and forceful to take them back?"

Emma Carter’s face turned awkward, but she remained domineering, "Don’t change the subject! Don’t you have a preference for sons over daughters? Then why did you abandon that girl? Why did you run away with only the two boys? What are you plotting in your heart that you think I don’t know?"

Amelia scoffed, took a deep breath, and forced herself to calm down.

"I know you don’t believe in my resolve to break ties with the Harts, thinking I’m using the boys to blackmail you. Well, it just so happens, I’ll make it clear today in front of everyone."

"At the beginning, it was Grandpa Hart who arranged for your son to marry me, not because I was clinging onto the marriage, nor did I ask anything from you."

"After the divorce, I was the one who initiated it, your son couldn’t wait to go through the procedures with me, and months later, he had another marriage lined up. As for how you were deceived, how you were played by the Tricky Woman and her daughter, I suppose you wouldn’t want me to spell out every detail here—otherwise, it would be you who lose face."

"Now, regarding the children, I was truly surprised to find myself pregnant with triplets after the divorce. No matter what disputes I had with your son, the children are innocent. They are three little lives; of course, I had to give birth to them."

"But how could I, a lonely Divorced Woman, raise one child let alone three premature infants? If it hadn’t been for Hope’s critical condition and my absolute inability to save her, I would never have sent her to your son’s side."

"I never thought of using the children to tie down your son, nor did I ever consider re-entering the Hart Family’s door. If you can persuade your son to give up Hope’s custody, I will immediately take the three children and leave this place, never to return!"

After finishing her long speech, Amelia refocused her gaze, looking at the breathlessly gasping Emma Carter, whose face was now a mixture of pale and green, and added one more sentence, "I truly... don’t care about the Harts."

Her emotions were a bit stirred, her head was spinning, she pressed down on her sons’ shoulders, her fingers trembling slightly, she paused and her tone became somber, "I don’t care about all the slander and framing me anymore, but if you still intend to fight me for the children, sorry, I’ll fight to the death."

Snow Fitch, standing to the side, naturally lifted his hand to applaud after hearing this.

However, after clapping twice, seeing Emma Carter’s eyes cut like knives, he immediately stopped and shrank his neck.

Christopher Hart stood behind them.

Originally, he came to back them up.

But after hearing the woman’s words, his face also turned solemn as if carved from ice.

The guests looked at him with mixed expressions, some sympathetically, some awkwardly on his behalf, the room fell silent, only the sound of playful music lingered.

Suddenly, Hope pulled off the crown on her head, threw it to the ground, turned, and pushed through the crowd as she ran away.

Amelia turned her head to see and, in a panic, chased after her, "Hope! Hope!"

Christopher looked at his parents, his face particularly unfriendly, "I thought you had suddenly realized, you were sincerely here for Hope’s birthday, but you—"
