Scum Daddy Dreams Of Stealing My Mommy! -
Chapter 175: After Pampering the Ex-Wife, Pampering the Son
Chapter 175: Chapter 175: After Pampering the Ex-Wife, Pampering the Son
"Hiss..." Christopher Hart flinched, almost swinging his arm into the child in pain.
The little guy reacted swiftly, dodging backward; Christopher, fearful the child would fall, instinctively reached out to grab him, but Noah avoided his touch, glaring at him with hatred in his eyes.
"Let go of my mom!"
Seeing that the child didn’t fall, Christopher withdrew his hand and glanced at his own "wound."
The little tyke had quite the bite; a row of neat teeth marks covered his palm, turning a ghastly shade of purple, and it still throbbed sharply.
His face darkened with a warning, "If your mom isn’t teaching you well, I certainly won’t spoil you. I’ll be sure to give you a proper discipline in the future—"
He was cut off midway as he turned back, his gaze landing on another little guy, "—and you too!"
Ethan, dumbfounded, shivered when Christopher’s gaze swept over him, thinking to himself that it was his brother who had bitten him, so why was he involved!
"Christopher Hart, what right do you have to discipline my sons! They’re more sensible than you’ll ever be, don’t you see your own flaws? What gives you the right to talk about my children!"
"Just because they’re my flesh and blood, that’s the right I have!"
"You have no shame!"
The man’s immense strength intimidated the children, and he continued to march on, the woman in tow.
The two kids followed behind at a trot, the scene offering a comical contrast.
Unable to bear it any longer, Kane rushed forward, pushing aside the bodyguard who was blocking him, and stood in Christopher’s way.
"Let her go!"
"Back off! This is my family matter!"
"She’s unwilling, don’t you see that? You’re divorced now, you have no right to keep her against her will."
"A mother to my children even after divorce, doesn’t that give me a closer relationship than you?"
Before Kane could speak again, Christopher cut him off with a cold laugh, reminding him, "You should take care of your own affairs first. Offending that tycoon’s daughter won’t do you any good!"
Hearing this, Amelia Garcia had a sudden realization!
How did he know that girl was the tycoon’s daughter?
Could it be that modern lady was brought in by him?
"Christopher Hart! You’re so despicable! How could you do this? Put me down!"
Betty ran up, grabbing Kane’s arm, "This is between husband and wife, quit meddling. Aren’t you supposed to head back to Zurich? Let’s go..."
Kane turned around, "You’re in this together with him!"
"I truly don’t know him... I came for you! Kane, come to your senses, she can never be with you. Only my family is a worthy match for you!"
Christopher left them quarreling, stepping aside and continuing his stride.
Amelia struggled to look up, her heart aching as she saw her two children chasing and crying behind.
"Christopher, please don’t do this, it will scare the children. They already have a negative impression of you, do you want to leave them with a permanent psychological scar?"
With those words, Christopher froze, halting in his tracks.
"Mommy... wu wu—"
"Mommy—"
The brothers caught up, hitting at Christopher like little furious lions.
Lucas King approached, whispering, "President Hart, maybe you should set the lady down. There are too many people at the airport, this could turn into—"
Christopher didn’t speak, but his grip on the woman’s legs loosened slightly.
Amelia, seizing the opportunity, struggled off his shoulder and almost fell, but he steadied her by her waist in time.
Ungrateful, she pushed him away fiercely.
"Noah, Ethan, mommy’s okay... Don’t be scared." Amelia ignored the pain in her abdomen, crouching down to embrace her children, "It’s alright, don’t be afraid..."
The little ones were indeed frightened, holding tight to their mother and nervously looking towards Christopher.
They understandably worried that the "bad guy" might take their mom away again.
Christopher watched them from the side.
Now that his impulse and anger had subsided, seeing the woman and children clutched together, crying pitifully, regret washed over him.
Lucas King stood to the side, aware of his boss’s emotional state and knowing he wouldn’t want to lose face, so he stepped forward and whispered, "President Hart, women and children... both need to be coaxed. We’re at the airport, and there are so many of us gathered here..."
Christopher Hart turned his head to take a look.
The bodyguards almost formed a closed circle around them.
On the outskirts, the airport security and staff were all on guard.
Clearly, they were afraid something might happen.
For the protection of the children, he knew they should leave the airport immediately to minimize the scene.
So, precious as his pride was, he had to step on it right now.
His fingers tightened, he took a deep breath in and out, then crouched down on one knee.
"Let’s go back first and talk it out. There are too many people here, and I’m sure you wouldn’t want them to be photographed and end up in videos."
Amelia Garcia refused to look at him, her eyes brimming with tears, "I want to take them away."
"Do you think that’s possible? They carry my blood, you can’t selfishly claim them as solely yours."
Christopher Hart was patient, keeping his voice low as he spoke to her earnestly.
Amelia Garcia was silent, unable to swallow her pride.
Seeing her attitude soften a bit, Christopher Hart gently reached out to guide her arm, and instructed the children, "Hurry, comfort your mother, tell her not to cry."
Noah abruptly looked up at him, "It’s all your fault! You’re a bad father!"
"..." Facing his son’s angry accusation, Christopher Hart couldn’t argue.
He fell silent, then laughed at himself, "Maybe... if I hadn’t hurt your mother’s heart, she wouldn’t have had to give birth to you three siblings alone and endured so much hardship."
Amelia Garcia was full of hatred in her heart.
But hearing his words, she was taken aback, the years of hardship and bitterness flooded over her like a tide.
"Let’s go; too many people are surrounding us." Christopher Hart looked down, persuading her gently once more and then firmly helped her to her feet.
Noah and Ethan also looked up, watching them.
"Mommy..."
"Let’s go, let’s go back first." She sniffed, calming her emotions and took her eldest son’s hand.
Christopher Hart secretly sighed in relief, immediately reaching out for the other child.
But the brusque Ethan coldly huffed, "I want to hold Mommy’s hand!"
Then he moved to Amelia Garcia’s other side, taking his mother’s hand.
This way, the brothers could stand on either side and protect their mom, so the Scumbag Father couldn’t hurt her again!
Christopher Hart, rejected by his son, could only let his raised hand dejectedly fall to his side.
Lucas King saw this and, not daring to show it, simply turned to disperse the gathering crowd.
Kane, being entangled by a girl, couldn’t shake her off. Watching the woman he had loved for years leave with her ex-husband, his captivating ice-blue eyes were filled with heartbreaking desolation.
Suddenly, Amelia Garcia stopped and turned back.
"What is it?" Christopher Hart thought she’d changed her mind and asked hastily.
She didn’t respond, just pulled the children along towards Kane.
Seeing her return, hope rekindled in Kane’s eyes.
Amelia Garcia walked up to him and stopped, her face filled with guilt and apology.
"Kane, I’m sorry... Thank you for all your effort, and now I can’t leave. I need to go back with him and settle things. Will you stay, or will you go back to Zurich first?"
Kane, comforted that she still remembered to come back to speak to him, felt somewhat consoled.
"I’ll go back first. There are some matters that need attending," he replied softly, and added with gentle admonishment, "If you need anything, reach out to me, and I’ll be there as quickly as I can."
"Alright..." Amelia Garcia nodded, her gaze briefly sweeping over the fashionably-dressed girl next to him.
The matter he had to take care of was surely related to this heiress.
If one were to match from the aspect of external conditions, she indeed wasn’t a match for Kane.
This girl, no doubt, was from a family of equal status.
