Scum Daddy Dreams Of Stealing My Mommy!
Chapter 123: Blockade the Airport

Chapter 123: Chapter 123: Blockade the Airport

She was leaving?

A shiver ran through Christopher’s heart, and his hand holding the pen trembled.

Just before, she had sworn an oath to see him in court and fight for custody of their daughter. How could she suddenly be leaving?

Seeing him silent and brooding, Lucas King managed to muster his courage and reminded him, "President Hart?"

"Leave her be." The man harshly spat out the words, gripping the pen so tightly that his knuckles turned white.

Lucas King remained silent, swallowing hard, not daring to say more.

However, after stepping aside, he still sneakily sent a message to the bodyguards, instructing them to keep watch and report back after reaching the airport.

The meeting continued, with the senior executives still chatting away.

Christopher appeared to be listening intently, but his hand fiddling with the pen moved back and forth, each time as if he wanted to rub away a layer of the pen.

Lucas King sighed internally.

Ah, clearly unable to let go, why pretend to be indifferent?

If it’s too late to chase after her later, and if she really leaves and then disappears for years, then he would see...

His thoughts were not yet complete when he suddenly heard a loud sound.

The man, who had been feigning composure a second ago at the head of the conference table, suddenly knocked over his chair and stormed out of the room like an arrow.

The roomful of executives were all stunned!

"What’s going on, Assistant King?"

"The meeting isn’t over yet!"

Lucas hurriedly followed, saying, "What meeting? Dismiss the meeting!"

When Christopher reached the lobby on the first floor, the driver had already brought the Bentley around.

He strode past the front of the car, yanked open the driver’s door, and pulled the driver out in a swift motion.

The driver was also perplexed, "President—President Hart—"

"No need for you to drive, take a break!" Lucas quickly followed, barely managed to open the passenger door and jumped into the car as the Bentley sped away.

Lucas held his breath, tremblingly buckling his seatbelt, and looking back at his fiercely tense boss, "President Hart, I’ve instructed them to follow your wife and report back if there’s any update. So please... don’t be too anxious."

But Christopher couldn’t listen; he pressed the accelerator relentlessly to the floor.

Lucas swallowed hard, silently raised one hand, and tightly grasped the overhead handle.

Amelia arrived at the airport, and her phone rang.

"Mom, we’ve passed the security check. When will you arrive?" The phone belonged to Kane and Noah was speaking.

Dragging her suitcase, Amelia felt a bit uneasy, as if she were about to leave something important behind, feeling reluctant.

Hearing her son’s voice, she steadied her emotions and replied gently, "Mom has also arrived at the airport, we’ll meet in a bit."

"Okay." The little guy responded, but after a pause of a few seconds, he suddenly asked, "Mom, you won’t have a change of heart, will you?"

Noah’s question was enough to show his intelligence and emotional quotient; he clearly saw through the adult’s thoughts.

Suddenly feeling guilty, Amelia emphatically raised her tone: "Of course not! How could I? Don’t worry, see you in a bit."

"That’s good, see you later."

After hanging up, Amelia glanced at her watch, frowning slightly.

Snow had something on today, and she had said there was no need to see her off, but Snow insisted on coming and said she was on her way.

How much longer would that be?

Anxiety grew inside her, and she looked around anxiously while dialing Snow’s number.

"Hello, dear, I’m almost at the parking garage..." Snow said urgently as soon as the call connected.

Amelia responded, "I’m by the security checkpoint, hurry up, Noah is rushing me."

"Okay, okay, I’ll be there soon!"

After hanging up, Amelia took a deep breath and stood there dazed.

A little girl, about the same age as Hope, walked by, sitting on her suitcase swinging her chubby legs.

Seeing her, Amelia couldn’t help but think of Hope.

Leaving without saying goodbye like this, if the young girl knew, she would definitely be very angry and blame her.

She didn’t know when she’d see her friend next. Would the young girl ignore her then?

Missing her friend, her mood became even more melancholic. She checked the time again, lifted her eyes to search for her best friend’s figure.

However, she didn’t see her best friend’s shadow; instead, she noticed some chaos erupting in the airport.

Countless people in black clothes, just like in the movies, rushed around in all directions, grabbing travelers to check their faces before looking for the next target.

They were searching for young, beautiful girls.

Amelia was stunned for a second, then alarm bells went off in her head.

Could it be...

She hadn’t come to her senses yet when her phone rang—it was Snow Fitch.

She quickly answered, "Hello, Snow! I saw..."

"I saw Christopher Hart! He must have come to catch you! Hurry up and go through security check-in!" Snow interrupted her, her tone even more urgent.

Christopher Hart...

That maniac, he really came!

Amelia’s mind buzzed, not yet fully comprehending, while her legs unconsciously began to sprint towards the security check.

But the next second, she saw the security area was also thrown into chaos.

God!

That bastard, he actually sealed off the security area!

All the passengers craned their necks in confusion, not knowing why the line had suddenly stopped.

What was he planning to do?

Where was airport security? Why weren’t they calling the police? Why not arrest him?

This was clearly disturbing public order!

Unable to head towards the security area, she panicked like a headless fly, turned her head around and looked everywhere, feeling the world spinning around her.

Why did she need to hide, why did she need to run, she couldn’t say.

It was just her instinct to flee, to avoid that person!

Her eyes frantically scanned around, then spotting the sign for the restroom, an idea struck her. Immediately, she dragged her suitcase and ran towards the women’s restroom.

It felt as if there was a flood or wild beast chasing her from behind, she ran hastily, causing all passerby travelers to turn their heads back curiously.

She ducked into the restroom, closed the stall door, her blood vessels still throbbing in her mind, her auditory system only filled with buzzing sounds.

Taking deep breaths, swallowing heavily, she held onto the latch of the stall tightly, her eyes empty yet anxious as she stared at the door.

Unbeknownst to her, the moment she dashed into the restroom, the man who was heading toward the security area had seen it all.

Snow Fitch just arrived too.

"Christopher Hart!"

She shouted loudly, quickening her pace, trying to intercept the irrational man, to talk to him.

But Lucas King came rushing in, along with two bodyguards blocking her path.

"Miss Fitch, this is President Hart’s family matter, please don’t interfere," Lucas said politely.

Snow cursed immediately, "Family matter my ass! Do they still have any relationship? Let me through!"

"The wife is Miss Hope’s biological mother, of course, there’s a relationship."

"You—"

No matter how fierce Snow was, she couldn’t surpass the well-trained bodyguards, only left to stomp her feet in frustration.

She pulled out her phone, thinking of calling Amelia, but worried that the ringtone might expose her best friend’s location even more, she had to stomp her feet and hold back!

She felt powerless, leaving it to fate.

Christopher Hart walked into the women’s restroom as if he owned the place.

The female guests let out a scream of fright, however, upon recognizing the strikingly handsome man who entered, their eyes turned to astonishment, some even forgetting to leave.

Christopher Hart stood in the corridor of the stalls, his gaze sweeping across each door.
