Chapter 824: Chapter 566: The Rising “Red Moon”!_2 Chapter 824: Chapter 566: The Rising “Red Moon”!_2 “Especially when it comes to developmental level, in my hand, a single Golden Card is enough to deal with everything you have!”

The giant humanoid The Rat revealed a human-like sneer, still trying to shake Colin’s conviction:

“Besides, I might as well kindly inform you, don’t think that becoming a ‘Flame Bearer’ means everything will be fine. Even if you or someone else succeeds, at that moment, you’ll likely become a puppet of the ‘Primordial Fire’!

“You probably know a thing or two about this matter; I’m not just trying to scare you!

“The outcome is likely to be quite unpleasant.

“Compared to the irresponsible path of the Bonfire, today, I will unite the three and achieve the Great Will, bringing the true dawn of the future, right now…”

‘God damn, why so much bullshit!’

Colin was feeling somewhat annoyed, but then he realized, this was probably what the enemy wanted. He took a brief breath and steadied his mind.

At this moment, he had some ideas about how to deal with this thing…

‘When it attacks, it must briefly appear in reality, just as it did before. If I strike during that time, I can actually hit it, but at the same time, I’ll have to face a massive amount of Spatial cutting. One wrong move and it’s easy for something bad to happen…’

‘Also, although getting close seems pointless, once I get close, it seems to stop painting.’

‘That means it has to be in ‘reality’ to continue painting…’

Amid the flurry of thoughts, Colin quickly came up with an idea and decided to try again here!

Immediately, armed with a few Golden Cards, he charged once again towards the incessantly babbling enemy.

And launched an attack.

“What, you don’t want to live?” The humanoid The Rat’s body flashed with golden light, appearing to dodge reality once more, hiding from the incoming attack.

Surrounding flames enveloped the area, but with a wave of its hand, all flames disappeared.

‘It feels like the flames were teleported away!’ Colin had a premonition; the flames didn’t disappear but went to a very distant place.

There was still a very faint connection…

But he couldn’t attend to that now. As soon as he saw his enemy attacking, Colin, braving the terrifying invisible Spatial cutting power, clenched a Bone Spur and flung it casually.

A Bone Spur shot out, aimed straight at the opponent!

“Very clever, you’ve actually noticed some of my weaknesses, but sadly it’s useless. Have you not considered that I deliberately sold you this weakness? Hahaha!” The Rat sneered, directly transmitting information through an ‘Inspiration’-like method.

The Bone Spur pierced its body but didn’t actually make contact and ended up embedded in the ground behind.

“I make far better use of this artifact than you ever could! Now, enough playing, at this distance, you can die!”

As it spoke, one of its hands, armed with sharp claws, extended.

Layers of golden light spread, and the entire Spatial area looked like a shattered mirror with numerous irregular fissures appearing.

Colin’s gaze sharpened, as dozens of fissures appeared on his body, and he simultaneously used two cards, “Stasis,” “Counterflow”!

After holding off the fissures momentarily, he steadied his flesh from turning to pieces, and his figure retreated as if intending to flee.

“This time, I won’t let you escape. Die!”

In the frozen Time, the humanoid The Rat seemed unaffected, watching Colin mockingly, as it uttered, “Solidify!”

As the words fell, Colin suddenly felt the Spatial pressure from all sides, rendering him completely immobile.

However, just as this “Flamebearer” Reservist seemed destined to fall right then and there!

The humanoid The Rat suddenly jerked, its eyes widening as it trembled and turned its head to look at its lower back, where, unbeknownst to it, a white Bone Spur crisscrossed with pitch-black cracks had been inserted.

“When did!?”

Its eyes almost popped out of their sockets as excruciating pain erupted from the lower back!

Upon seeing this, Colin once again unleashed a “Repulsion Burst,” breaking free from all restraints, then showed a smile on his face:

“Have you ever considered that when I used Time Reversal, it wasn’t on myself? But on the Bone Spur I just threw?”

“Ah!!!”

The Rat’s response to Colin was a high-pitched, ear-piercing scream.

Despite its high level of artifact development, its body wasn’t particularly strong, and a single stab brought excruciating pain, causing it to howl and roll on the ground.

“If you had paid more attention, you would have noticed a little trick with my Bone Spur. After I threw it and it flew a distance, it was pointed at me. If you’re not careful, you might just think it spun around, but…”

Now, it was Colin’s turn to reveal a mocking smile.

What it thought was a use of “Backflow” to escape was actually Time Reversal on the Bone Spur, letting it reverse course to hit the still, unsuspecting foe from behind!

It likely never imagined falling to such a petty trick!

As for the effects of the Bone Spur, even Shana, with her non-human physique, took a good while leaning against a wall clutching at her waist to recover after taking a stab from Colin.

It was then that he saw a faint hint of golden light attempting to rise again on the humanoid The Rat.

He wanted to cover it with Flame and burn it to death completely, but various negative effects from the artifacts surged, and he could only rein in the Flame, holding it inside him to suppress the negative effects.

Immediately thereafter, without any hesitation, Colin rushed to his foe’s front, swung his fist, and crushed its wailing rat head with a punch.
