SCP Corporation: Contain Bonfire
Chapter 806 - 806 559 Global Disaster Broadcast Alert

Chapter 806: Chapter 559 Global Disaster Broadcast Alert! Chapter 806: Chapter 559 Global Disaster Broadcast Alert! Upon opening his eyes, Colin didn’t immediately get out of bed, but instead, he stared at the familiar ceiling, recalling his recent conversation with “Lady Rabbit” and feeling his head buzz.

He had thought a simple inquiry would unravel some of his confusion.

However, instead of solving many puzzles, he ended up with even more questions.

Of course, the main focus was still on “The Ultimate Moment,” which was too abstract for most people to comprehend, even with an interpretation.

But aside from that, the rest seemed manageable…

Colin remembered the last part of their conversation in which he asked about the three leaders; “Lady Rabbit” said she could only recall so little.

She only subtly hinted that “the one you’re investigating is probably one of them.”

“Why do I feel almost certain it’s ‘Boss Huang He,’ yet why does she seem so unsure,” Colin wondered, raising his eyebrows but soon figured that there would be results before long.

He decided not to dwell on it any further.

“Everything that needed to be organized is nearly done; there shouldn’t be any significant regrets now…”

Colin sat up in bed, pondering the cause and effect of his current situation.

It seemed everything that needed tidying had been dealt with…

What remained was likely setting up the final arrangements before the event began.

He took a deep breath and pulled out all his tools from his pocket.

He checked each one…

“Contrarian’s Revolver,” “Time Reversal,” “Time Freeze,” “Force Repulsion,” “Force Attraction,” Enhanced Bone Spur, Enhanced “Mountain of Smiling Corpses,” “False Mighty One,” Max Kindness of the Firebearer (Haze Angel), Shield Badge of Fairness and Justice, Firebearer’s Grease* 1037.43L, Badge of Humility…

These were his main combat methods.

Among the dazzling array of orange and golden items, “False Mighty One” stood out in purple, looking a bit out of place in quality.

But so far, it had been quite useful for him…

After all, its upper limit almost equates the basic physical fitness of an employee with that of a Level C Employee.

Colin wasn’t sure which employee’s Level C standards it measured by, but it still proved quite effective in use.

“When it comes down to a fight, just blow it up in an overclock use; it could give more effects, though the side effects are a bit tricky to manage.”

Colin nodded, then glanced over his other tools.

Then there were pieces of kindling he’d collected from various levels of Containment Subjects, which, if laid out and burned, could cover the third-largest country in the world in terms of land area…

Of course, Colin couldn’t achieve this, so he only roughly estimated its effects.

Besides these, there were the “Widow Yukionna” and “Mark of the Fire Tree”; the former, Colin no longer used as a tool but rather held regular conversations with as an equal…

As for the latter, he similarly didn’t treat it as a mere tool but more like a healing pet that could understand human speech.

Though he knew “Fire Tree” harbored its own little schemes, often slacking unless snapped at, he didn’t know what exactly it was planning.

But Colin could feel these schemings were harmless to him, so he didn’t pay them much mind.

After all, a bit of thought made it clear that it was probably just plotting to escape.

Apart from this, there were also items like the “Analytical Lens” and other low-performance green gear, even some purple gear, which Colin regarded as “disposable tools.”

“The green gear is okay to blow up when overclocked, but even the worst ‘Purple Gear’ starts at a minimum of twelve or thirteen thousand points; exploding it seems a bit extravagant…”

Colin looked at the twenty-some pieces of green gear in his hands and the nine pieces of purple gear he had acquired through official and company trades.

Especially the purple gear, worth over a hundred thousand points just here.

But if a crisis occurred, Colin would not hesitate to blow them up to defend himself; hesitating even for a second would be a disrespect to his own life.

About an hour later…

Colin picked up his phone to notify Old Master Wu.

Instead of passively letting the other party inquire about him, this time he chose to take the initiative.

“Are you sure you’re prepared?”

Unlike usually waiting long for a message, during this period Old Master Wu seemed to be constantly by his phone, and Colin received a reply immediately after sending his message.

Facing the inquiry, Colin gave a confident response.

A few seconds later, it seemed the other end also confirmed something and replied,

“Okay, later Xu Duojin will come to pick you up, then, from a little while onwards, there might be some significant actions happening, you don’t need to worry, just wait.”

After a brief exchange, Colin sat silently in his room, thinking back to his last conversation with “Lady Rabbit.”

He pondered about “The Rat,” who was likely to show up first when the time came.

“According to Lady Rabbit, he’s quite adept with tools, likely possessing a super-strong golden artifact related to spatial abilities, and besides being able to evade her and ‘Fate Principle,’ he might have some secrets that needed attention…”

Of course, though his combat ability wasn’t weak, his weaknesses were quite clear…

His physical body was extremely fragile, almost like a regular person’s.

If only he could get closer, there was a high chance that just one wave of dispersion entering could directly kill him.
