Chapter 546: Chapter 433 “It” Awakens in My Brain. _3 Chapter 546: Chapter 433 “It” Awakens in My Brain. _3 As the thought flickered, Colin couldn’t help feeling that his own fist wasn’t big enough.
Otherwise, he would have made this guy spit out everything he should have said!
Another two hours later, after ensuring he wasn’t marked, Colin returned to his territory.
At this moment, various tasks within the territory were still being carried out in an orderly manner by the employees; however, after seven days of continuous work, a hint of fatigue surfaced on their faces, each one looking as if they had smeared the same kind of mystical patterns found on pillars, surrounded by an aura of mysticism.
Seeing this, Colin’s kindness overflowed, and he declared that the status of the work positions was not urgent.
With the last three hours of the countdown approaching, they could lay down their work and take a three-hour break.
Upon hearing this, the employees’ enthusiasm for work surged once again.
Standing at the top of the small chapel, bathed in the light of the bonfire, Colin scanned the territory several times over to ensure that nothing out of the ordinary had crept in during his absence, and only then did he allow himself to relax.
“Big brother, want something to eat? I just roasted this…” Little Red approached him with a freshly roasted mouse.
“Thank you.” Colin didn’t refuse and reached out to pat her on the head.
Seeing that Big Brother had accepted the food she offered, Little Red smiled, and then the two of them sat at the door of the small chapel, with her chattering incessantly about her own observations during the days Colin was catching up on lessons.
Colin gnawed on the mouse while listening, everything peaceful and indifferent.
Yet, more than the things she talked about, when Colin occasionally looked at Little Red, he observed her eyes more intently.
‘Now that her emotions have stabilized, they don’t turn red as much.’
Colin inexplicably breathed a sigh of relief.
From the very first encounter, he knew that this little girl possessed something special.
But what was strange was that even now, Colin still couldn’t quite comprehend what exactly it was.
Even the Saintess couldn’t notice the problem with Little Red when her emotions were not agitated.
‘According to the Saintess, Little Red might have some special recessive bloodline; her difficult growth environment is probably causing some loss of control. Paying a little more attention should suffice.’
‘As for more details, we’ll have to wait for her rescue operation to finish before going and searching the archives in the ‘Light’ Holy Land.’
As the thought turned, Colin also remembered that he once asked Little Red’s friends and learned that when she was in grave danger and extremely agitated, some kind of tainted power would erupt from her.
But after the eruption, those who had offended her seemed to perish instantly.
And turn into a pile of dust…
Or, the things she stared at intently would also inexplicably die from organ failure.
Little Red seemed aware of this, which is why she blinked frequently.
She wouldn’t stare at him often…
However, in truth, Little Red’s concern was entirely unnecessary, as Colin, after observation, was fairly certain that merely making direct gaze contact had little effect on him.
‘Though the eye color has a sense of déjà vu, it probably has no relation to the ‘Red Moon’; the form this power takes is completely different.’
Colin ruled out the scariest option, “related to the Red Moon.”
If it had really been related to the “Red Moon,” those people wouldn’t just drop dead or turn into a pile of dust.
Instead, there would be a massive uprising of internal organs, scattering all over the sky.
Thinking this, Colin felt somewhat relieved.
