Leng Xuan smiled and lightly kissed the girl’s forehead before saying, "Then I’m off to school."

After hanging up the phone, Leng Xuan parked his car in an empty spot near the school and then got out to head back to campus. However, just as he reached the school gate, his phone rang again. It was Luo Shuixi calling. The last time he was at Imperial Scenery Garden, they had exchanged phone numbers—this was their first call.

"What does she want with a phone call?" Leng Xuan felt a slight doubt in his mind, hesitated for a moment, but still answered, "Hello?"

"Leng Xuan, do you remember who I am?" came Luo Shuixi’s graceful voice from the phone.

Leng Xuan felt an instinctive resistance towards Luo Shuixi.
