Soon after, the car arrived at the villa’s little garden. After getting out, Ling Xuejiu took out her key to open the door but suddenly remembered what Li Mengjie had just said; what if Leng Xuan was really doing the XXOO with Su Yurou inside? Although she really wanted to rush in and catch them in the act, she didn’t want to actually see something she shouldn’t. Out of sight, out of mind, that was the idea.

When Su Yurou was watching TV in the living room, she also heard the sound of the car outside, so she walked to the door and peered through the peephole only to see Ling Xuejiu standing outside. She then opened the door, smiled apologetically, and said, "Hello there."

"Huh?" Ling Xuejiu, who was evilly fantasizing about Leng Xuan and Su Yurou getting it on, suddenly saw Su Yurou open the door. Her face turned red as she forced a smile and said, "Hello to you too."

"Hehe, come on in," Su Yurou said, stepping aside.

Ling Xuejiu paused for a moment, feeling odd, as if she and Xiao Jie had become the guests and Su Yurou the host. It was really strange, but she didn’t pay much attention and entered the villa with Li Mengjie.

"Where’s Cold Bodyguard?" As soon as she entered, Li Mengjie immediately asked about Leng Xuan.

"Brother Leng Xuan is cooking in the kitchen," Su Yurou replied.

"Hmm~!" Li Mengjie narrowed her eyes at Su Yurou. It really was like enemies meeting, each with heightened envy, and she said, "When did you guys get back?"

Su Yurou replied, "Just got back a little while ago."

"Is that so~?" Li Mengjie gave Su Yurou a strange look and asked, "Did you two do anything?"

Su Yurou looked puzzled for a moment and said, "Do what?"

Li Mengjie said cheekily, "Hmm~! I mean, that thing..."

"Xiao Jie!" Ling Xuejiu glared at Li Mengjie; after all, as the host, if Xiao Jie went too far, it would be embarrassing for her. She then put on an heiress’s demeanor and smiled at Su Yurou, "Su Yurou, welcome to my place. Make yourself at home, no need to be shy."

"Yeah!" Su Yurou didn’t say much else and continued watching TV in the living room. Ling Xuejiu and Li Mengjie joined her, and the three of them were silent for a while, with the atmosphere turning slightly awkward.

To show her magnanimity as the host, Ling Xuejiu took the lead in breaking the silence and asked, "Su Yurou, do you want some water?"

"Brother Leng Xuan already got me a bottle of beverage earlier." Su Yurou said sweetly, smiling and pointing to a bottle of fruit juice beverage on the coffee table.
