"It’s Wang Shuze, why would he call me?" Hesitating for a moment, Ling Xuejiu still pressed the answer button and then greeted, "What’s up?"

Leng Xuan laughed awkwardly. This girl’s jealousy was really something else. But even if he were going out to charm the girls, it wasn’t any of her business, right? So he purposely retorted, "Why, do I need your permission to go on a date?"

Li Mengjie immediately became displeased and said, "Of course, you do! Have you forgotten what you promised me before? Hmph, don’t make me tell Xue Jiu about you and Xiao Yun!"

Leng Xuan broke into a sweat. It had been so long since that incident, and yet Li Mengjie still held it over his head, which was quite frustrating. He finally said, "Alright, it’s not a date, are you happy now? If you don’t believe me, you can come with me!"
