After returning to the villa, Leng Xuan started cooking, while Ling Xuejiu and Li Mengjie, the two young ladies, sat on the sofa watching TV.

Li Mengjie said with a giggle, "What’s that? You’re being so mysterious."

"Is there a secret between you and Leng Xuan?"

"Huh?" Li Mengjie was taken aback, wearing a puzzled expression as she said, "What do you mean?"

Ling Xuejiu said, "I feel like he really listens to you. Today at school, during the lunch break, when he ran down to buy ice cream, I found it quite strange. Also, just now in the car, when you told him not to forget what he promised you this morning, he quickly cut you off as if he’s really afraid of you..."

"Ai, Xiao Jie, you little..." Ling Xuejiu, feeling frustrated, clenched her teeth, thinking, ’Why has Xiao Jie changed so much since Leng Xuan arrived, even having secrets she won’t share with me?’ Just thinking about this made her inexplicably angry, and she huffed, resenting Leng Xuan even more.

Leng Xuan was caught off guard and at a loss for words when Li Mengjie lifted his shirt. Next, he heard her exclaim with a gasp, "Your undershirt is all purple with blood, what happened? Did you get into a fight today?"
