Chen Nan had a bad feeling, "Wh... why?"

"You’re stammering. Feeling guilty?"

Huo Xinya spoke calmly and didn’t explain why she had a feud with Jiang Xiaomi. Instead, she looked up at the stars in the sky.

Chen Nan did feel somewhat guilty because there was something going on between him and Jiang Xiaomi that was being concealed from Huo Xinya, "What are you trying to say?"

"Some things don’t need to be said out loud," Huo Xinya shook her head and sighed, "I have a question for you, if one day, you fell in love with someone you shouldn’t, what would you do?"

"If they’re someone I shouldn’t love, how could I fall for them?"

"I’m talking hypothetically."

Huo Xinya turned her gaze to him, seemingly waiting for his response.
