"I’ll call your village head now to understand why the village doesn’t follow basic business regulations."

He made a call as he spoke.

Chen Dashan frowned silently, sensing something was amiss and suspecting that Zhang Weiguo’s visit was linked to Li Hai and Li Xiaobao.

Two minutes later, village chief Li Hai hurriedly arrived at the clinic.

"Old Li, talk to your villager Chen Dashan about completing the business registration," Zhang Weiguo said to Li Hai and then walked out of the clinic with his hands behind his back.

Li Hai sighed dramatically, "Dashan, why didn’t you inform me about opening a clinic earlier? I have connections at the town’s Industrial and Commercial Bureau and could’ve helped with the registration."

"Now it’s a problem. You opened without proper documents, and they’ve come for inspection. I’m afraid the clinic can’t operate."

Chen Dashan smirked inwardly and asked, "Village chief, what do you suggest we do?"

Li Hai laughed and said, "It’s actually easy to fix. I can help smooth things out, but it’ll cost a bit."

"How about this: I’ll help you settle the connections, and you return the hundred thousand yuan IOU to me."

"Also, let me hold fifty percent of the clinic’s shares. With my name on it, I guarantee smooth operations in the future."
