Chapter 133: Have You Fallen for This Pretty Boy?

Chapter 133: Chapter 133: Have You Fallen for This Pretty Boy?

At this moment, on a luxury cruise ship by the river.

The night sky over the river shimmered with rippling waves, dark lights falling onto the surface, resembling shards of glass reflecting light rings.

A gentle breeze made the scene particularly pleasant.

Deng Biao lay on a red velvet sofa, holding a glass of wine, sipping slowly while looking down at Sun Xiaolong kneeling at his feet.

Sun Xiaolong slightly raised his head, glanced at Deng Biao, and the atmosphere tensed.

After a moment of thought, Sun Xiaolong mustered his courage and whispered, "Cousin, it’s not that we were incompetent, we just didn’t have enough people!"

"Who could have known that Chen Dashan, that bastard, had arranged manpower in the fruit shop?"

"There were more than thirty of them; wasn’t I being careless?"

The quieter Sun Xiaolong’s voice became, the more agitated Deng Biao felt. He kicked Sun Xiaolong in the face and scoffed, "Idiot!"

"On my own turf, you still can’t handle a country bumpkin?"

"Who gave me a guarantee that it was foolproof, telling me to wait to have my way with Chen Dashan’s woman? Where are they now?"

"You damn dog!"

Furious, Deng Biao flung the wine glass in his hand at Sun Xiaolong’s face, stood up, and looked out over the river with his hands on his hips, fuming.

Sun Xiaolong knelt on the ground, droplets of red wine slowly dripping down his forehead, sliding down his face.

The followers on the deck felt threatened, each of them lowering their heads, hardly daring to breathe, not daring to provoke Deng Biao at this time.

"This Chen Dashan, I will definitely grind him into pieces and feed him to the fishes!"

Deng Biao swore fiercely.

Looking at the several sly-faced followers by his side, then recalling Zhao Jiayao he had seen at the fruit shop, his anger grew; such a stunning woman could only be touched by Chen Dashan.

Chen Dashan counts for nothing!

"Cousin, rest assured, let Chen Dashan, that bastard, be arrogant for a few days, that damn dog, does he really think that by finding Peng Hu, that idiot, he can compete with cousin?"

Sun Xiaolong wiped the wine from his face, obsequiously got up, followed closely beside Deng Biao with a flattering expression, and continued, "Peng Hu isn’t even worthy of tying cousin’s shoes, that idiot will have no idea how he died."

"Cousin, don’t worry, if Chen Dashan knew your strength, he would definitely piss his pants!"

Seeing Sun Xiaolong laughing arrogantly, Deng Biao was satisfied and haughtily said, "Hmph!"

"Country bumpkin, he’s never seen the world, thinks Furong County is his Stone Village? Idiot!"

The other followers also chimed in, "That country bumpkin should find out what Brother Biao does!"

"Exactly, a fruit seller dares to compete with us, clueless of death..."

"If he knew our Brother Biao’s identity, the country bumpkin would definitely piss his pants!"

"Hahaha..."

The people on the deck laughed loudly, leaning back and forth, scornfully regarding the fruit-selling country bumpkin.

"Bang!"

"Help!"

"Ah... please let me go!"

A loud noise followed by nearby screams, the underworld-seasoned Deng Biao immediately narrowed his eyes and defensively said, "Someone’s boarded the ship, go check it out!"

Sun Xiaolong frowned, listened for a few seconds to no further noise, and hurriedly said, "It shouldn’t be, everyone able to board this ship is a known guest, either that or they’re brought by guaranteed acquaintances to have fun, the area outside is covered by our brothers, no fly could even get through!"

Deng Biao frowned.

Before Sun Xiaolong finished speaking, a group of young men swiftly surrounded the deck with steel bars. Deng Biao’s men, realizing this, quickly encircled Deng Biao and Sun Xiaolong in the middle.

"Who are you?"

Deng Biao spoke in a cold voice, scanning the young men surrounding him. He didn’t recognize any of them. They were all sizable men with tough appearances, sporting tattooed arms with designs of dragons, kirins, and scars—they looked like troublemakers.

Seeing that these men remained silent, Deng Biao continued arrogantly, "I’m giving you five seconds to scram, or else I’ll make you feed the fishes!"

These people still did not react, yet everyone in Furong Town knew of Deng Biao’s name. How could these men show no fear?

Deng Biao looked up and saw Chen Dashan approaching him with a smile, as if casually strolling in a garden.

Deng Biao’s anger flared as he glared and exclaimed, "Chen Dashan?"

"It’s you! You bastard, how dare you step onto my turf?"

"I bet you’ve come here to die!"

Deng Biao laughed mockingly, feeling even more arrogant now that he recognized Chen Dashan, whose background he knew well. Such a man, even if he died in the river, nothing would be said the next day.

The underlings on the deck were all shocked.

How did this guy get up here?

This ship was one of Deng Biao’s operations. From the outside, it looked like a passenger ferry, but it was actually a gambling ship catering to wealthy people from nearby cities. The ship had a casino and women, offering everything one could desire.

Most importantly, entry required passing through the cement factory’s gate, another of Deng Biao’s ventures. It wasn’t for making money but served to disguise the gambling operations and to guard the casino.

Did this guy get past everyone down there? Were they all taken down?

"Deng Biao, today you dared to send people to kidnap someone from my shop, you’ve got some nerve!"

Chen Dashan, standing with Peng Hu opposite Deng Biao, remained casual.

Hearing this, Deng Biao almost burst out laughing, "Chen Dashan, facing death and you still want to act tough? What if I kidnapped someone from your shop? Do you really think that just because you have this Peng Hu, I wouldn’t dare touch you?"

Deng Biao pointed at Peng Hu and spoke mockingly.

Being called out and underestimated, Peng Hu replied irritably, "Who the hell do you think you’re underestimating?"

"You don’t think that just because you have 30 people, you can run wild in my territory, do you?"

Deng Biao strolled over to Chen Dashan, continuing to boast, "Let me tell you, just one call from me and within a minute, my men will be here!"

Deng Biao proudly held up his cell phone, acting as if he was the king of the world.

The underlings on the deck sneered, looking at Chen Dashan and his group as if they were fools.

"What if I join in?"

A dominating, cold female voice rang out. Chen Dashan turned around and saw Ye Jiping in a bright red dress, standing amidst a group of bodyguards with her chin tilted up, exuding authority.

"Ye Jiping?"

Deng Biao, seeing who it was, was initially stunned. Ye Jiping, like him, was a boss in the Old City District, each managing their own business and forces. Though there had been friction over the years, they had generally coexisted peacefully.

What was this troublemaker doing here today?

Seeing Chen Dashan smiling at Ye Jiping, Deng Biao understood, his expression turning more serious, yet he fearlessly asked, "Ye Jiping, are you sure you want to cross me?"

"Are you fancying this pretty boy?"

Deng Biao spoke sarcastically, but Ye Jiping removed her sunglasses, looked coldly at Deng Biao, and said, "So what if I am?"
