Chapter 92: Chapter - 92 What Do We Do Now?

Delcain’s Point Of View

"Mom!" I yelled as soon as I saw her standing with the others outside the new guard’s house.

I couldn’t stop my tears from flowing. They had taken Kaleb and Arrisa, and I had been powerless to stop them. Everything had happened so fast, I didn’t even have time to process it all.

"Oh, my Little squirrel... are you okay? Why are you crying? I’m fine." She said soothingly, as she rubbed my back.

"They got Kaleb and Arrisa..." I sobbed.

Mom stiffened and looked up to find everyone else. She sighed upon seeing the babies and Sable, but she had also begun to tremble.

"We need to get inside. The doctors need a sterile field to assist the wounded. Nohrah? Where are is Nohrah? Has anyone seen her?" Doctor Khali asked, her voice sounding panicked.

I looked up to survey our surroundings, and noticed almost half of the men were heavily wounded.

"They took her!" Soona said as she ran up to Khali.

"What do you mean? When!?" Doctor Khalil asked, furiously.

"She lured them away from the women’s lodging when Jaihlah was too afraid to move. She... she never came back..." Luhnah said, tears in her eyes.

"We need to help the guys and get a final head count on everyone currently present. Please help the wounded inside. The kids should all stay in one room guarded by the remaining men who can fight." Rohan said, directing everyone into the house.

"C’mon little squirrel, we can figure everything out inside." Mom said.

I nodded and picked up Joobehlee. She had been crying ever since they had taken Arrisa away. I knew I couldn’t comfort her with words so I just went for physical reassurance instead.

"Th-They took Ari, Del. W-What do we do now?" She sobbed.

Her speech was getting better, and I couldn’t be more proud. Unfortunately, the situation was anything but good and I was sad that she was finally using her words at a perilous time.

"Raihne... we need to get in contact with the boss. We need new orders, and we need to update him on the situation..." Rohan said.

"Yeah, I called Jaymehsyn and told him we were under attack, but I haven’t updated them since... I don’t know how to break the news to Tristan and Meyhymn... I failed them... again..." Raihne replied.

"You did no such thing. No one could have expected them to burn down the house. They are becoming desperate and what we need to know is why. This was a calculated attack, I have no doubt that they will use us to draw out Tristan. And that’s assuming that they aren’t currently under attack themselves." I said trying to reassure him.

He seemed the most devastated out of everyone. No doubt, lamenting over the fact that even with Tristan’s warning, he wasn’t able to completely protect everyone.

"Give me your phone, Raihne. I’d like to make a call." Sable said.

Her cheeks were rosy and her eyes were puffy but she was clearly trying to keep it together for our sakes.

Raihne nodded and handed her his phone, then he heaved a heavy sigh as he sat down next to her on the sofa.

Waihlynn’s Point Of View

"BOSS! THERE’S BEEN AN EMERGENCY!" Sébastien yelled as he barged into my room.

I shot up out of bed confused by the sudden change in our situation. It seemed like the situation was always changing abruptly.

"What the hell is happening? Where are my brothers?" I asked, getting out of bed.

"I assume they are still in their rooms. I came to your room as fast as I could." He replied.

"What’s the emergency then?" I asked confused.

"It seems that Ferdinand, Sylvester and their mate never made it back home. They came back here with Zachariah, Gaibe, Lyukhe, and Lady Dyahlettah in tow." Sébastien replied, breathlessly.

"They what?!" I yelled, grabbing my pants and suit jacket.

I was at a loss for words. They left before any of the rest of us had a chance to ask more questions. And now they were back?

"Follow me." I called behind me as I left my room.

I walked across the hall to Aidehynn’s room and opened the door. He was still fast asleep.

"Aidehynn. Wake up, little brother." I said softly, as I jostled him.

"Mmm... Stop, damn it..." He mumbled. It was adorable, but now was not the time.

"Aidehynn!" I said firmly.

"Huh...? W-Waihlynn...?" He groaned as he slowly opened his eyes.

"We need to go, Aidehynn. Tristan never made it home... Sébastien said he was here at the hotel with Zachariah." I said as I tossed him his pants.

"W-What...? How is that possible? What happened?" He asked, finally snapping out of his sleepy trance.

"I don’t know all of the details, but this will probably be the only time you’ll get to ask him your questions..." I said.

"How did you know?" He asked me, eyes wide.

"You always get the same look on your face when you are over thinking things. Plus, I’d like for your facility to succeed. You might just be able to be the second successful facility." I said.

It wasn’t lost on me that just like our father, Aidehynn was a sympathetic bleeding heart when it came to Omegas. Our mother was an Omega, and Dad loved her fiercely. I never thought that he would make a facility, much less a successful one.

I was honestly proud of him, he had managed to keep his facility and the goings-on of Ash’Burhrowz a secret for years. However, I also felt like complete shit for not knowing anything about my youngest brother until now.

"What about Naithynn...?" Aidehynn asked.

"Uhm... we’ll get him involved if absolutely necessary... I don’t think he’d be as interested in Tristan’s views as we are." I replied.

I wasn’t sure Naithynn could be trusted right now... he understood why it wasn’t a good idea to have an excess number of Omegas like Tristan in the world. But something told me he didn’t fully care. As much as I loved my little brother, I knew his darker impulses better than anyone else.

"Yeah... okay. Let’s get going..." Aidehynn sighed.

I could guess that he had also saw the look in Naithynn’s eyes earlier. I didn’t want to exclude Naithynn from important Duhtchy discussions, but I just couldn’t risk it.

We headed down to the lobby of the hotel directed by Sébastien and his information.

’We can definitely give Tristan the kind of facility he wants, but what kind of results could we actually produce there...?’

Sylvester’s Point Of View

*BZZZ... BZZZ... BZZZ*

"Finally! Raihne, what the hell is happening over there? Are you okay!?" I yelled as I answered my phone.

–Uncle Syl...?

"My big princess...? What’s happening? Where is Raihne?" I asked.

– Raihne is here... but uncle Syl? They... They took Arrisa, Ezekihel, Kaleb, and Nohrah... over half of the guys are hurt, the doctors are doing what they can... but the mansion is on fire...

"I know sweetie. We’re going to get them all back I promise. Tristan is okay, I’m glad that you are okay. Put Raihne on the phone." I said.

–Okay... Are you okay Uncle Syl?

"I’m better now that I know you’re safe. You guys had me worried..." I sighed, taking a seat in the conference hall.

–Here’s Raihne... I’m glad you’re okay too Uncle Syl...

"Yeah. Get some rest sweetheart." I said, sitting the phone down and putting it on speaker.

–I’m really sorry Sylvester... I couldn’t-

"It’s fine don’t beat yourself up over it. From what I heard and saw, it was rough. What’s the casualty count?" I asked.

–Ahriel, Solomon, Tyhlr, Gillian, Jaihme, and Benjahmin were injured pretty bad. Ahriel and Solomon are in surgery right now... we are at the new guard’s house for the time being... What do we do now? Is my brother okay?

"Yeah he’s fine, we got lucky. They had us dead to rights and taunted Tristan about having his siblings. He told him to surrender himself for the possible return of the kids." I sighed.

–I’m glad he decided against it. They would never willingly give up the kids. They wouldn’t be able to control Tristan anymore if they did.

Tristan looked over at the phone in shocked horror. It would appear that he did indeed want to exchange himself for his siblings. I assumed that he wouldn’t do anything rash now that he was mated, but he’s still the same adorable doting big brother that I fell in love with through and through.

"We’re going to get the kids back, Raihne. How many men can we spare?" Ferdinand asked.

–Honestly boss, none. They really did a number on us. They brought in a tank. A lot of the men were hit with falling debris or burned carrying people out of the fire. A few were caught in an explosion by the front gate.

"Is my mother and Aunts okay?" Bellamy asked.

Haha rest easy Bel. I’m told your mother and Aunt Nahana are the reason we were able to escape. They shot down the two helicopters that had us pinned.

At this news, Bellamy placed his hands over his face and groaned. I was glad to have those ladies on our side for sure.

"Listen Raihne, there could be spies lurking about still. It would be so easy to hit us while we are down. As soon as you are able I want you to make your way to StohneGarrdin. The garage is still there, you’re just going to need help getting into it. The lab is untouched as well grab as much equipment as you can. I’m not sure if we can make it back to the house or not. We are going to head for the kids as soon as our meeting is over. Just keep Cole posted he’s staying here with Tristan." Ferdinand said.

–Right. Understood boss. We will do everything we can. I think Santiago and his men, Rohlander, Dahnnie, and Tysse are containing the fire right now. As soon as the doctors are done, we will mobilize. Just be careful boss. Trust your gut instincts, these guys are playing for keeps and they know what they need to bait us and trap us.

"Thanks Raihne. I’m glad you’re okay..." Ferdinand sighed.

"Also, I forgive you brother, so stop beating yourself up and protect everyone else. Your leg is hurt but your brain is not." Payhne added.

–Yeah... You make sure to protect the boss. I’ll handle things here.

I hung up the phone just as Zachariah, Bennhayzin, Lyukhe, Gaibe, and Dyahlettah were walking in. I could tell everyone was tense, but it seemed they weren’t tense about the situation. They were tense about being around Tristan.

’Well shit... leaving him here might be a bad idea after all... Ugh... Fuck...’
