Chapter 85: Chapter - 85 The Meeting Of The Kings (Part 2)

Waihlynn’s Point Of View

"Now that we are all in attendance, let us open up today’s meeting with the food Sîvret prepared for us." Zachariah said.

"As you wish my King." Sîvret said, as he stood up.

"Men, please assist Sîvret with revealing and serving the dishes." Zachariah added.

The men along the walls nodded and stepped forward. Their actions made the only Omega present gasp and flinch, drawing everyone’s attention once again.

"To start, the appetizers I have brought today are a Smoked Chicken Truffle mouse topped with spicy caviar and a Caprese Salad atop thin baguette slices." Sîvret began, in a dramatic voice, as if to draw attention back to him.

Zachariah’s men around us unveiled the platters and the oohing ensued. I couldn’t deny that it looked delicious. I didn’t know Sîvret was this good of a cook, to be honest.

"For the main course we’ll have Duck a L’orange & Roasted Quail paired with Hericot verts and chopped Tri-colored roasted carrots." Sîvret continued.

"Good Gods Sîvret, you really outdid yourself, didn’t you?" Ferdinand said.

"Well, I did promise you a meal if you brought your mate, didn’t I?" He chuckled.

"Jeez... you really are too much, Sîv..." Ferdinand sighed.

"And finally for dessert we will have Les Fruit Frais Parfaits with white truffles with a smoked white chocolate sauce & Fruit Tarts with a lemon creme anglaise." Sîvret said, and then took his seat.

"Thank you, Sîvret. It all looks delicious. Men, begin with the appetizers if you would." Zachariah said.

The men began to plate, then pass out the appetizers as instructed. Once the Kings received their plates, the cooing began. I received my plate and took a bite of the smoked chicken and groaned. It truly was delicious, I could barely stop my mouth from salivating as I took another bite.

"Ugh! Sîvret, I’m going to have to make a reservation at your restaurant. This is to die for!" Xander exclaimed.

"You are most welcome to do so." Sîvret replied.

"Yeah okay the meal is delicious blah, blah, blah. Can we get down to tax of brass here?" Rahzden complained.

All of a sudden, two men had moved in the blink of an eye and placed two knives at Rahzden’s throat. The room fell silent in mere moments and the Omega began to cower in Ferdinand’s arms.

"Rahzden, I do recall telling you to have patience. Why is it that you are so eager to discuss a subject that has nothing to do with you?" Zachariah said, sternly.

"Unlike you idiots, I don’t have a problem accepting Danhiel’s request. I don’t give two fucks about Ferdinand’s feelings, much less his punk ass shadow, Sylvester’s." He yelled angrily.

He seemed to not care about the knives pointed at him, but the whole situation was stressing me out.

"Bold words from a weak ass yes boy. Come take him if you fucking dare. I promise you my bullets are faster, jackass." Sylvester replied, glaring.

"Ooh. I’m so scared. Your threats are as weak as your glare. You are the ones who mated with the wrong Omega. Why the fuck should the world suffer because of your selfishness?" Rahzden yelled.

Things were heating up already and we hadn’t even made it to the damn main course. I thought the Omega was beautiful to be sure, but Ferdinand seemed happy. Not to mention the Omega seemed to really love them. The way he constantly looked for solace in Ferdinand and Sylvester everytime he became scared, was ridiculously adorable.

I glanced around the table and noticed Dyahlettah watching the Omega in rapt fascination. She would even smile softly at times. It was strange that she was silently watching him and smiling. I couldn’t recall a single time that I had seen her smile, even subtly like now. I wasn’t the only one perplexed by this either.

I realized that Gaibe was also looking at Dyahlettah in confused amazement. It was like seeing a forbidden sight, but I couldn’t stop looking. That is until there was a loud clatter as a plate went soaring across the table...

Ahriel’s Point Of View

"Solomon, call Raihne and Jasper. Tell him there are two helicopters and 4 SUV’s heading towards the house! We are cutting through the backyard, we’ll take the long way around so don’t turn off the fence!" I said into my walkie-talkie, as I was running through the trees and foliage.

I was with Tysse, Rohlander, Dahnnie, Tyhlr, and Gillian. We had been at the new guard’s house, and had been told to be on alert. We had barricaded off one end of the street, so they couldn’t hit us in a pincer attack. We hadn’t expect them to fly over in helicopters too.

"Shit, Ahriel. I don’t think we’re going to make it! They’re going to overtake the mansion!" Tyhlr yelled.

"Well if they do, you just make sure to kill every one of them!" I yelled.

The helicopters were already over the house, we still had to run to the front gate just to get in. I didn’t regret telling them to keep the fence up, but I did regret not having Meyhymn create something that allowed us to enter the fence from anywhere.

"Ahriel, me and Tysse will boost you, Ro, and Gillian over the fence. We’ll catch up to afterwards. I have a bad feeling about this." Tyhlr said, coming to a stop.

I too, had been having a strange sinking feeling ever since the helicopters began to circle the mansion. I nodded to Tyhlr, and began to prepare for the jump.

Tyhlr, Dahnnie, and Tysse overlapped palms in a triangle formation and Gillian leapt onto them. They simultaneously thrust their arms up with tremendous force, and Gillian flipped over the top of the fence with ease.

Rohlander and I followed suit and we surveyed the area after landing, before heading towards the mansion.

"We’ll converge on the third floor once we are inside!" Tyhlr yelled from the other side of the fence.

"Understood! Be careful!" Gillian yelled back.

We took off towards the mansion at a blinding speed. Before we could reach the main doors, there came an explosion from above. We each abruptly came to a hault, and stared up in shock.

"Those fucking bastards! Did they seriously bring explosives!?" Rohlander exclaimed.

*Ratt-tatt... Ratt-tatt... Ratt-tatt-tatt...*

"HOW FUCKING DARE YOU! THERE ARE CHILDREN IN THIS HOUSE!" Meahlene yelled, as she shot volley after volley of bullets at the helicopters.

Her cerulean eyes were positively glowing, she was unequivocally pissed. Nahana was perched on a second story window, aiming a rifle at one of the helicopters.

"YOU GOT THE RIGHT HOUSE ON THE WRONG DAY, ASSHOLES!" She yelled, and then began to shoot at the rotors of the helicopters.

"Boys! Get inside, some of them have breached the 4th floor!" Nahana yelled.

Suddenly, there was another explosion behind us at the gate. I could hear some of the men yelling and guns going off in the distance. I was torn on what to do, until Meahlene unlocked a case at her feet with the tip of her right high heel.

"Boys! Get going! Mama’s. Got. This!" She yelled, as she slung her SMG over her shoulder and picked up the rocket launcher out of the case on the ground.

We took off towards the front doors, as she lined up her sights. We had just reached the foyer, when the sounds of another explosion shook the house.

"Let’s get to the third floor. Everyone who needs protecting should all be in the playroom!" I yelled.

"Wait! What about the doctors!?" Gillian yelled.

It had completely slipped my mind that the doctors would be in the clinic. I groaned and immediately headed for the clinic. It would be easier to protect everyone if they were all in one place.

I threw open the clinic doors and they all exclaimed in fear. I scanned the 1st room and realized all the doctors were in the same room already.

"Grab your emergency medical bags and come with us! We can’t protect you divided like this!" I yelled.

"It’s okay. Santiago is going to come down here in just a moment. He went to check the status of the 3rd floor." Doctor Khali explained.

"Okay. Seal these doors until he returns. If we lose our doctors, we’ll never recover. I’m sure some of the guys already need your help. I’ll stay outside in the hall until they return." Gillian said.

We nodded and left him back at the clinic, and headed back towards the stairs. Once we rounded the 3rd floor, we ran into Santiago and his men.

"Hey, we are going to head back down to the clinic. No one has come into the house that I’ve seen." Santiago said.

"Nahana said they’ve breached the 4th floor. So they must be somewhere. We’ll loo–"

"Hey! Where are the Omegas!?" I heard a man yell, as he cut me off mid speech.

"Boys handle this asshole!" Santiago yelled.

"No! It’s fine. Go protect the doctors. Leave these dumbasses to me..." I all but growled.

Santiago nodded and head down the stairs with his men. Rohlander and I squared off against the invaders. I had made a promise, and I’d be damned if these bastards made a liar out of me...
