Chapter 81: Chapter - 81 In Preparation

Bellamy’s Point Of View

"Okay, so these are all the files you were able to steal from Lore’rahlye?" I asked Meyhymn.

"Yeah... and just like Delgaide, I don’t understand most of them." He said with a sigh.

I could understand them, and if I was being honest this was not the kind of shit I wanted to deal with right now. I went from having the most unforgettable night with my mate, to whatever the fuck this hair pulling shit was.

"Do you understand it, Bellamy?" Meyhymn asked.

"I understand that the scientists in Lore’rahlye are more depraved than the ones in Delgaide." I replied with a sigh.

Seriously, it was disturbing, and absolutely disgusting. I could honestly understand that bastard Omega’s hostility to Tristan if this was how he had lived his life. I glanced over at the nervous Omega in question and he flinched.

Their DNA was flooded with animal DNA. 90% of it was with animals that secrete mating pheromones to lure in the opposite sex. Animals like Xylocobras’, Pseudophox’s, Helicoverdae’s, and Leptothrocat’s. It was clear what they were looking for.

They wouldn’t need to train them sexually, or even need them to be relatively attractive, if every Alpha they came across wanted nothing more than to throw them to the ground and fuck their brains out. The notes really painted a vivid picture of exactly what they were trying to accomplish.

"Why are you looking at me like that? I don’t need your stupid pity!" The Omega said angrily.

"I don’t pity you. I understand and respect you a bit more, if anything... dumbass..." I replied with a glare.

He immediately shrank back and hid behind Meyhymn.

"S-Sorry..." He mumbled.

"Well... do you think you can make what we need?" Meyhymn asked.

"Yeah... ironically enough they made their own type of suppressants for the Omegas. They aren’t made like the regular ones and it seems they only give them to the Omegas until their 10th birthday." I replied.

"But I told you... I can’t take suppressants, Meyhymn..." Ezekihel grumbled.

"Its not your average suppressant, nor can it be classified as an inhibitor. What it will do is dampen your pheromones severely. It will also dampen your arousal. Now that’s not to say you can’t get horny, it’s more like you won’t need to. I’m also going to make you something special. I can do it because I’m thinking of making it for Tristan as well, so consider yourself lucky." I replied.

"Okay well just tell me what you need and I’ll give it to you." Meyhymn said.

"What if I say I don’t want you to go?" Ezekihel asked.

"I’d listen to your reasons for why you don’t, and hope we can come to a mutual understanding." Meyhymn said, picking up Ezekihel and placing him in his lap.

"Look i’ll put it to you simply. If Meyhymn stays and something happens to Tristan, we’ll use you to get him back. Alternately, if Meyhymn goes and something happens here, all the men here will put their lives on the line to protect you and this house. Which one sounds more preferable?" I asked.

He pouted but he didn’t say anything else on the subject. After seeing what those files describe, I could understand why he didn’t want to go back, and also why he was scared to be left alone. Unfortunately, Meyhymn was the next best thing in terms of strength without the twins. I knew I was being a bit too mean about it, but I was too tired to sugar coat anything.

"It’s okay. I understand that you don’t want me to go because you are scared. However, if these injections work and something does happen, you can lock yourself in the playroom with the kids." Meyhymn said, rubbing Ezekihel’s back.

"Okay... I’m sorry..." He replied.

"It’s fine. After reading this shit I get it. But your safety is not my priority. If you talked about Tristan’s past like Meyhymn said, I want you to imagine what it will be like when Tristan is in a room with 12-13 Hyper-Dominant Alphas and each of them have at least 2 Alpha men at their side as well. Shit can hit the fan extremely quickly in that kind of situation, no? And you’ve already seen Meyhymn in action to know why we need him." I explained.

"Yeah... that sounds terrifying... but why put him in that situation to begin with?" Ezekihel asked, confused.

"Because no one else can protect him like we can. Also in the event that someone steals him, we can easily hunt him down. That’s harder to do if he’s not with us to begin with." I replied.

"How enviable... nobody has ever cared about me to such an extent..." He mumbled.

I looked over at Meyhymn and chuckled. The poor kid just didn’t know how upside down his world was about to get.

"Don’t laugh without explaining. He won’t understand if you are laughing with him or at him..." Meyhymn pouted.

True to his word I was receiving a nasty look from Ezekihel at the moment, but this realization only made me laugh harder.

"Then please enlighten him Meyhymn." I said chuckling.

Meyhymn became quite embarrassed instantly, and honestly at this point my sides were going to burst. I hadn’t forgotten what he had made as he waited for me to come to the lab, and it appeared that now was the perfect time to give out presents.

Meyhymn took out the device he had been working on and presented it to the Omega.

"I care, Ezekihel. If anything happens to you I’ll come running. Keep this on at all times. It’s also water proof. There is a panic button you can press as well." Meyhymn said showing him the device.

"Wha? Is this a tracking device?" Ezekihel asked.

"Unlike the fellas and Tristan, I can’t locate you with some 6th sense. I want to be able to help you in your time of need. It has a lock on this band so no one can take it off of you, we can take it off once I get back. Is that acceptable?" Meyhymn said.

Ezekihel turned the small silver bracelet over in his hands and quickly looked up at Meyhymn in shock.

"Why does it say, ’Property of Meyhymn’ on it?! That better be referring to the bracelet itself damn it!" Ezekihel said turning red in embarrassment.

I chuckled again then stood up to make my concoctions. I wanted to make something that could lessen Tristan’s pheromones as well so this was a win-win.

’Haaah... let’s just hope it fucking works...’

Zachariah’s Point Of View

Friday Night

*Knock... Knock...Knock*

"Yes, come in...?" I replied.

"Master, Sir Lyukhe is here to see you." Jaymehsyn said softly.

"Okay, send him in. How go the preparations for tomorrow?" I asked.

"Smoothly. We have set aside a space for the meeting and confirmed everyone’s attendance. Ferdinand has agreed to bring his mate as well." Jaymehsyn replied happily.

Jaymehsyn was extremely happy to have guests over. More importantly to have Ferdinand and his mate over. He had enjoyed Ferdinand and Co. growing up to be rambunctious boys and then into foolhardy men. So he cherished any time he got to see him. This time especially, since it was like Ferdinand was introducing his new mate to his parents.

Jaymehsyn bowed, then left my office. A few moments later, he ushered Lyukhe into the room. Lyukhe looked a bit pensive and worried. We weren’t the closest of friends, but I did enjoy his company.

"Hey Lyukhe, what brings you here the night before you have to be here? Claihm’Orhe isn’t exactly close by. It must be serious." I said, greeting him and offering him a seat.

"Well I suspect you know why I’m here. The rumor mill is churning, and I don’t like what I’m hearing. Are we seriously going to start a war over one damn Omega? Help me understand this shit Zachariah. How could you be okay with this?" Lyukhe said looking increasingly worried.

"I’m not sure I follow. A war is going to break out? When? I wouldn’t allow that to happen without solid reason. So who is instigating these falsehoods?" I asked, confused.

"Haaah... by that confused look on your face I can tell you aren’t entertaining these foolish ideas. However, Rahzden and possibly the triplets will try to do something unreasonable at the meeting tomorrow..." Lyukhe replied with a sigh.

"How do you know this?" I asked.

"I have spies everywhere. I also know that Bennhayzin paid Ferdinand a visit 2 days ago. And that Danhiel is making waves and sewing seeds of discord amongst your Kings." Lyukhe replied, leaning back into his chair.

"So what side will you choose then, Lyukhe?" I asked.

"Who knows? I’d like to see and hear things for myself, before I make any decisions. I don’t have a facility in my Duhtchy, so I’m curious to know just how depraved they are. I can say however, I’m leaning more towards helping Ferdinand, than capturing the Omega." Lyukhe said with a chuckle.

"That’s good to hear. I’m quite happy for Ferdinand, he’s been quite the volatile Alpha lately, and he was having such a hard go at life. I just hope he’s happy. If so, I want to protect that happiness." I said.

"Don’t play favorites my King, they will not take too kindly to that. If anything let the Kings decide. You might be surprised at how they react." Lyukhe chuckled.

I felt so uneasy about the meeting and what may happen. I had secret contingencies in case something ridiculous happened. I didn’t trust Danhiel at all, and if Ferdinand was bringing his mate then Danhiel was sure to make a play. I had also been hearing unsavory things about Rahzden as well. I just hoped enough people saw how unreasonable it was to rip a mated couple away from each other. Much less when there were 5 people involved.

’Haaah... I’m not getting any sleep tonight...’
