Chapter 102: Chapter - 102 We Need To Escape

Jehssope’s Point Of View

"C’mon we can’t stay here anymore, Maihsson!" I whispered harshly.

"Huh? What are you talking about? Where would we go? And how the hell would we get there?!" He argued.

We didn’t have time to argue. I had heard the guards talking and heard we were about to be under siege. In my 18 years of being here in the Lore’rahlye facility, no one had ever treated us with kindness. There was no way someone would be coming here to rescue us.

"They’re coming! They are going to go to war with the army here!" I said, dragging him out of bed.

"What? Who’s they? How do you know? Explain what the hell is going on, Jehssope!" He said, pulling his arm free from my grasp.

"I don’t know who it is. I don’t even know why they are doing it, I just heard the guards talking about preparing for a fight. If you want to stay here and risk getting captured by a new ’Master’ then be my guest, but I’m not staying here any longer!" I yelled, finally fed up with his stubbornness.

He looked at me in shock. Then slowly, fear began to consume his features. Maihsson was my best friend and sworn brother, we had been through hell and back with each other. I didn’t want to leave the facility, and brave the unknown world without him. However, the clock was ticking and it felt like a noose was slowly tightening around my neck.

"How are we going to get out of here unnoticed?" Maihsson asked, grabbing onto my arm and trembling.

"There is a secret exit in Master Rahzden’s office. He was drunk and bragging about how much he hated being the director of this facility. He let it slip and abused me until I promised to never say anything." I said, as I packed my bag.

We weren’t allowed many personal effects, but I had a few things that were worth money. I had patrons who liked to spoil me after they had their depraved fun, something akin to a backhanded apology.

"C’mon pack what you can. We have to go, now." I said, turning to face Maihsson.

"Unlike you, nobody doted on me. All I have are shameless lingerie, and a pair of sandals..." He huffed.

"It’s fine, pack it and some covers just in case. I don’t know what season it is, it might be cold outside. I’ll take care of you, little brother." I said.

"Yeah... but who’s going to take care of you?" Maihsson chuckled.

We grabbed our bags and headed for the door. Once Maihsson opened the door, he stopped so abruptly that I slammed into his back.

"Jeez, don’t stop like that. What the hell is wrong with you?" I asked, rubbing my nose.

"Why is everyone out in the hall?" Maihsson asked, shocked.

I moved him aside then glanced out the door, and saw all the Omegas in the facility out in the halls just roaming around.

"Wha... What the hell?" I murmured.

"Jehssope! Do you know what’s going on?" Mahxim asked, running up to us.

"No... Why is everyone out in the hall like this?" I asked.

I had only ever seen 10 other Omegas outside of Maihsson. I didn’t even know we had this many Omegas in the facility. It was clear that several others were having similar thoughts, they were looking around in shock and awe at the sheer number of us. The fact that they let us all out at the same time didn’t sit well with me, knowing that there was an imminent attack on the horizon.

"Jehssope, do you think they would use us as human shields or a blockade of sorts?" Maihsson said, a tad bit too loud.

It didn’t seem logical in the grand scheme of things, but that was assuming that the people here treated Omegas as anything more than a cock sleeve. Taken at face value, they would definitely use us as a blockade. There was only one way in and one way out of here, after all. And while the invaders had to wade through a sea of Omegas just to reach the lower levels, the directors could easily slip out of the secret exit.

"A blockade for who? What the hell is going on?!" Mahxim asked.

"Keep your voice down! You’ll start a mass panic and get us all killed!" I whispered harshly.

"Then tell me what the fuck is happening? Why are you wearing a backpack?" Mahxim whispered back.

"We are about to be under attack. I suspect they are going to use us as a diversion of sorts, or as Maihsson put it, a blockade." I replied.

"But we’ve been on lockdown for almost 24 hours now... some of these Omegas are already beginning to secrete pheromones..." He said, looking angry.

"Look. I’m not staying around long enough to be a prisoner of war for some other depraved asshole. I’d rather take my chances on the street. You can come too, but tell no one! We’ll be caught for sure and who knows how they would punish us." I said.

"Okay... Can we bring Wahrryn? He’s my little brother... I can’t just leave him here..." He asked, looking scared and hesitant.

"Where is he?" I asked.

"Two doors that way... he already hit his limit an hour ago. I made him stay in bed, while I tried to figure out what was going on..." He replied.

I glanced in the direction he pointed in, lucky for him it was on the way. I nodded and we made our way to their room. When he opened the door, I immediately gasped. The boy was definitely at his limit, but he was also half naked and covered in scars. His face was untouched.

He had long white hair and piercing blue eyes that seemed to glow in the dark room. He was so beautiful it took my breath away.

"Wahrryn, we need to go now. Do you have any valuables you want to bring with you?" Mahxim asked.

The boy pointed a shaky hand toward a chest on the floor, and we immediately opened it. It was filled to the brim with jewelry and nick nacks.

"Good Gods! Just who the hell is your little brother?" I asked.

He had entirely way too much jewelry, and too many scars to just be some common Omega.

"He’s... Master Danhiel’s favorite pet..." Mahxim replied softly.

His eyes were full of sadness as he picked the boy up, and put him on his back. He picked up a bag from his dresser and tossed it to us. We wasted no time putting what we could in the bag, and hauling ass out of his room.

If what he said was true, then we couldn’t waste a single moment getting out of here. Danhiel was a monster amongst monsters. His depravity seemed to reach new heights every day. There were rumors of a secret pet that he coveted above all others, but since he never played with the same Omega twice, no one believed it.

Seeing the boy in person, I could kind of see why he was favored, but he seemed so frail and malnourished that it just didn’t make any sense.

’Why starve him if he is the favorite pet? Why give him jewelry he could never wear, over food to sustain him? Ijust don’t understand these assholes.’

Once we made it to the second floor I paused. I had expected there to be guards everywhere considering the attack coming, but the hallway was empty.

"Jehssope, how do you know Master Rahzden isn’t in there right now?" Maihsson asked, as we slowly approached the office door.

"The guards said he went to a meeting and hasn’t come back yet. They were blabbing about the proper chain of command or something." I replied, opening the door.

As soon as we were inside, alarms began to blare and the office door sealed shut. Everyone began to panic.

"What do we do? We can’t get out now! It’s too late, they are going to make an example out of us, aren’t they!?" Mahxim cried.

Wahrryn groaned and held on tighter to Mahxim in fear of that outcome. I quickly grabbed Mahxim by the shoulders and then covered his mouth.

"If you don’t shut up, we’re dead for sure! And I didn’t come all this way, just to end up a dead cautionary tale!" I whispered as I glared at him.

The one thing I knew for sure was that these offices all connected in some way, and I had come too far to turn back now. Mahxim nodded in compliance, and I let go of him. Then, I quickly began searching for the hidden door along the wall.

After about 10 minutes of searching, I was beginning to lose hope. I started to despair, thinking that even while drunk Rahzden couldn’t tell the truth. Until Maihsson knocked the portrait of Rahzden off the wall, making a loud clatter. As soon as I turned to glare at him, I saw the hidden seam in the wall.

I ran over to it and gently pressed against the wall. It opened easily with a soft hiss. Mahxim, Maihsson, and Wahrryn looked at me in shock. We didn’t have time to be surprised however, I could hear the Omegas begin to panic outside the door.

"C’mon, let’s go!" I said, as I ushered everyone into the passage way.

I closed the wall behind me and turned back around. Nobody had moved an inch, everyone looked ridiculously terrified. I raised my chin and proceeded down the corridor. I had no idea where we would end up, or what we would do once we got there, but anything was better than our current lifestyle.

"I see something up ahead!" Maihsson said, getting excited.

We quickly picked up the pace, and found a door with no light on the other side streaming through. I was scared to open the door, the fear of thinking the door led to someone else’s office paralyzed me.

Suddenly, the door swung open on its own. On the otherside was a large man with long magenta hair and a bored look on his face. His eyes however, unnerved me like nothing else. They were two different colors and burning angrily, even though his facial features seemed relaxed.

"Well, well. What have we here? Looks like Rahzden lied after all... Not surprising... Fucking snake..." The man sighed.

"Uhm... please let us pass... we don’t want to be caught up... in any wars..." Maihsson said, summoning a courage I couldn’t find.

"Hm? No can do... we have to take you all to a safe place..." He said.

Everyone tensed up at his words that didn’t match his eyes.

"Rest easy. From what I’ve heard, you’ll all recieve an education and normal job skills. Just sit tight while we kill your ’Masters’..." He said, stepping aside.

Behind him were other men, all looking as if they were primed to kill any moment.

’Fuck... we barely made it outside before getting snagged anyway... this fucking sucks!’
