Chapter 886: Chapter 507: The Spy Suspect is Captured!_2

Sean Knight hadn’t anticipated such an oversight— smug in the knowledge that there were plenty of food supplies in the spatial realm, he was confident that food was not a concern.

However, by mentioning it, he had inadvertently revealed a weakness.

He looked at the girl and sincerely said,

"Thank you for the reminder."

After saying that, Sean Knight stepped off the fitness equipment and headed to the neighboring room, planning to take a shower.

The girl seemed quite pleased with Sean Knight’s reaction, feeling like she had gotten a good sense of his character.

After the shower, Sean Knight returned to his dormitory and started browsing his mobile phone.

Lincoln Harrington sent Sean Knight a message on the mobile phone, informing him that he was still outside searching for the structural diagram of the laboratory.

The task proved difficult.

Sean Knight told him not to rush, as he also had a plan.

Soon, Andrew Thompson’s voice announcing dinner echoed through the dormitory.

Checking the time, Sean Knight realized that this was likely the set schedule from now on.

Sure enough, as everyone lined up for dinner, Andrew Thompson declared,

"From now on, breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be served at this time. Everyone should come and queue up then."

Dinner consisted of a piece of chicken breast, a pinch of green vegetables, half an egg, half an orange, and a slice of pizza as the staple food.

Of course, it was still not enough.

Sean Knight carried his plate to the side and sat down to eat when two men with their plates approached.

"Luke Anderson, right? I’m a bit hungry today, how about giving me your piece of meat? I’ll return it tomorrow." one of them said with "sincere" tone to Sean Knight.

No sooner had he finished speaking than the other reached out with a fork to pick up the piece of meat.

As soon as the incident happened, people immediately looked over.

However, no one stepped in to intervene.

Clearly, the thinking of each minding their own business had taken deep root here.

Even the security guard just glanced over and did not stop it.

"Smack!" Sean Knight slapped the hand holding the fork sharply, prompting the man to cry out in pain, clutching his arm and screaming!

The fork flew a good distance and hit the wall, emitting a crisp sound.

Sean Knight had held back with that slap; otherwise, he could have broken the man’s arm!

The other guy was stupefied for a moment before he said in a voice filled with feigned toughness,

"Let’s talk this out, no need to get physical! There are more than just one or two of us..."

Sean Knight gave him an expressionless glance and continued to eat his meal without further ado.

The security guard, drawn by the scream, came over and asked the man holding his arm:

"What’s the matter? Did someone hit you?"

Displeased with the guard’s obviously biased judgment, Sean Knight gave him a look, thinking that although he had come with a plan, he had no intention of suffering in silence.

If the guard did indeed turn a blind eye, Sean Knight wouldn’t mind teaching him a lesson on what a beating from the school of hard knocks felt like!

The injured man stole a glance at Sean Knight, then back at the security guard, and shook his head, saying:

"No, I bumped into something myself..."

He knew that even if he complained to the security guard, it might not solve the issue with Sean Knight, and he would likely be the one to face retaliation.

"That’s good. Remember, your main job here is to partake in the medical trials, not to cause trouble!" the guard holding the baton warned after glancing at him, then threateningly glared at Sean Knight.

Sean Knight stood up without showing any weakness, meeting the guard’s gaze evenly.

The guard was startled by Sean Knight’s steady gaze, involuntarily turning away, but when he realized he had been intimidated and turned back, he’d already lost the upper hand.

Although the guard was reluctant to admit it, he knew better than to mess with Sean Knight; there was a killing intent in those eyes!

To recover some face, the guard turned to the others and loudly commanded,

"Everyone eat your meals properly and no trouble-making, got it?"

Sean Knight sat down and continued with his dinner.

The two men left, looking quite embarrassed.

Clearly, their attempt at bullying had backfired this time.

At that moment, the sweet-faced girl came over with her plate and sat across from him.

"You’re pretty tough, huh!" the girl initiated the conversation.

On the other side, Milan Collins watched the girl strike up a conversation with Sean Knight, a bitter taste in his mouth.

He had already inquired into the girl’s background; her family owned a small factory back home—not enormously wealthy, but comfortably off.

Her looks were definitely a bonus, so Milan Collins had originally planned to kill two birds with one stone during this operation, securing both the job and a girlfriend. Wouldn’t that be nice?

Back at the school, Milan Collins was considered a catch among the international students, so he had that confidence.

But after several setbacks one day after another, he felt quite deflated.

Naturally, all the blame fell on Sean Knight!

It was just unfortunate that the two fools he sent failed to do their job.

He was also surprised by Sean Knight’s combat prowess, which apparently exceeded his expectations.

It looked like he would have to revise his plans.

Sean Knight didn’t initiate conversation with the girl; after finishing his meal, he placed his dinner plate away, nodded at the girl, and left.

Molly Wilson might come by tonight, so he had to be prepared.

Entering his room, Sean Knight noticed that it had been cleaned. The garbage was taken out, and fresh water was supplied. The room had been disinfected as well.

There was a television in the room; Sean Knight turned it on, but after watching the foreign programs, he switched it off again.

He decided to skip the cinema and continued browsing his mobile phone instead.

Soon, Andrew Thompson’s voice was heard once more.

"Ladies and gentlemen, tomorrow morning we will draw blood and perform some routine examinations to detect the medicine’s residual in your bodies. Please be cooperative.

In 10 minutes, we will proceed with the evening’s medication intake. Please stay in your dormitories and do not leave."

Sean Knight hadn’t expected the tests to come so quickly, but fortunately, he was already prepared.
