Chapter 806: Chapter 479 These Can All Be Purchased!_2

Although Sean Knight’s net worth had already surpassed 10 billion, making him wealthier than 99.9% of the world’s population, he still derived great pleasure from trading digital currency.

It was akin to those who drove sports cars over tens or hundreds of kilometers into the mountains to pick mushrooms.

If you really thought about it, the mushrooms picked might not even cover the cost of fuel, but it was all about the pleasure of the activity.

Sean Knight continued to sell in small batches as before, then transferred the money into his electronic wallet and shuffled it around.

The procedure was familiar, and this time there was no attack, no alarms from the computer.

This left Sean Knight somewhat disappointed; he was rarely in the mood for some fun, and these guys weren’t even cooperating!

Could they have really all been wiped out in one fell swoop?

While he was feeling downcast, the platform’s built-in messaging program indicated a stranger was contacting him.

"How many coins do you have left?"

Sean Knight looked at the user’s name and avatar, finding them somewhat familiar. After giving it some thought, he realized this person had purchased several of his coins before, counted among the top dogs on this platform.

Public transaction records on the platform showed that this person’s purchase numbers were at the forefront.

"Do you plan to buy?" he didn’t reply but instead asked a question.

"Buy. As many as you have, I’ll take."

"Deal," Sean Knight didn’t believe the buyer could purchase them all at once. If he really did, then Sean Knight would be happy.

During the first transaction, Sean Knight released 100 coins.

The buyer paid promptly.

Watching the 2 million something come in, Sean Knight thought to himself how quickly the money was earned!

The buyer sent another trade request.

Sean Knight felt like playing it big this time, releasing 500 coins.

The buyer paid swiftly again.

When the buyer requested a third trade, Sean Knight didn’t agree.

It was risky to do so.

"Out of coins?" the buyer messaged.

"Trading is suspended for today," Sean Knight replied.

"Heh, then trade with me again when you have more coins," the other party replied and then vanished.

Sean Knight guessed the buyer was probably hoarding coins, waiting for the value to increase.

However, that didn’t really matter. Even if the price did go up, could the other party earn more than him?

Just then, footsteps sounded, and Lana Brown knocked on the door, prompting Sean Knight to say:

"Come in!"

It was Lana Brown alone.

"I had someone take them both around the island to get familiar with the place," Lana Brown explained. "Wenxiu is somewhat introverted, but she’s smart and has a strong capacity for understanding. She’s just a little timid..."

"She’s not timid, she’s protecting herself," Sean Knight spun his computer chair around to face Lana Brown and explained, "Think about it, losing her parents at twelve years old, then being exploited by her uncle. In such an environment, anyone with a bit of spirit would likely have ended up disabled or disappeared."

"That’s so pitiful," Lana lamented her own background and shook her head, "Well, it’s good for her to stay here, get acquainted with some of the service points on the island, those selling items, collecting supplies, and the like."

"Just make the arrangements, we’re not a charity after all. If she’s here, she has to work," Sean Knight stood up, embracing Lana Brown and inhaling the fragrance of her hair, "Otherwise, she won’t feel at ease either."

"Okay, I understand," Lana Brown nodded, her voice nasal as she spoke sweetly, and then, as something else came to mind, she looked up and asked:

"What’s the deal with Christina Blackwood?"

"Translator," Sean Knight lightly kissed her cheek and said, "Douglas introduced her, she speaks several languages, and she’s also someone Douglas is considering for a girlfriend."

"I see!" Lana Brown then put that concern aside, wrapping her arms around Sean Knight’s neck and said sweetly, "I missed you..."

Not suitable for children.

The second day, Sean Knight went to Jakarta with Lana Brown and Elijah Hastings to find Oliver Brooks.

Lana Brown was quite thrilled.

Sean Knight had made her his official girlfriend in front of his family, which already gave Lana Brown a rush of excitement.

Now, by taking her along to meet Oliver Brooks, it signified to her traditional views that she was being introduced to Sean Knight’s friends.

What was this called in ancient times?

A union between houses.

How could she not be thrilled?

Compared to Lana Brown’s formal enthusiasm, Sean Knight actually felt a bit guilty. After all, once the construction on the island was mostly complete, his contact with Oliver Brooks had greatly diminished.

One must not cease to value others once they’ve served their purpose.

Although it was Sean Knight who helped Oliver Brooks discover his family treasure, and established his footing in Jakarta, their relationship was mutually beneficial.

Without Oliver Brooks, Sean Knight would not have been able to acquire the island.

Moreover, throughout the construction process, Oliver Brooks didn’t mind Sean Knight using his identity to manage affairs, knowing full well the risks involved.

This made Sean Knight feel he was somewhat opportunistic.

Arriving with Lana Brown and Elijah Hastings at Oliver Brooks’ courtyard, Sean Knight noticed that the walls had been repaired and raised; one couldn’t see inside from the outside anymore.

The front gate had also been replaced, not too luxurious but with an air of quaintness.

Elijah Hastings carried the package, while Sean Knight walked with Lana Brown up to the door to knock.

"Who is it?" Oliver Brooks’ voice came from inside, tinged with a cheerful tone.

"Mr. Brooks, it’s me," Sean Knight called out loudly, "Hurry up and open the door."

"Coming, coming!" Oliver Brooks recognized the voice and sounded joyful, "I’m opening it now!"

As the double doors swung open, Oliver Brooks clapped Sean Knight on the shoulder with a heavy pat:

"I thought you had forgotten about your brother here!"

He then turned to Lana Brown and inquired:
