Chapter 557: Chapter 375: Is this thing really that expensive? No way, right?_2

"I understand," SeanKnight said solemnly, "Thank you for the reminder, Mr. Brooks."

"No need to thank me. Just bring some seafood when you have time."

"No problem, I’ll get plenty."

After hanging up the phone call, Sean Knight said:

"You guys wait here, I’ll be back in a while."

He left the port, driving the electric vehicle vanishing on the mountain road.

"What do you think the boss is up to?" Douglas Cooper asked curiously, coming out from the yacht.

"Maybe something happened and the boss called for help?" Elijah Hastings guessed, "I heard Mr. Brooks say there is a treasure in the fallen airplane, worth several million or even tens of millions!

Do you think those guys in the dock can resist the temptation? If they come over to salvage, won’t they spoil the place here?"

"Good point," Douglas Cooper nodded, "We can’t let them ruin this place."

"Maybe this is a test for the island by some people taking advantage of the situation." Lincoln Harrington suddenly said, "If the boss gives in this time, there will be no shortage of people coming near the island to fish, salvage seafood, or even poaching in the future!"

Elijah and Douglas both gasped.

It’s definitely a possibility!

After all, the shameful deeds of some people in this country left a deep impression in the memories of Elijah and the others!

So, they have to be prepared!

They must be prepared!

That’s why they guessed that Sean Knight must be calling for backup.

Since the security forces at the construction site are strong, borrowing some people shouldn’t be a problem.

However, it didn’t take long for Sean Knight to return in the electric car.

So soon?

And there was only Sean Knight in the car.

Did the construction company refuse to provide people?

Impossible!

When Sean Knight arrived at the port, Elijah and the others went over to greet him.

Upon closer inspection, they saw that the electric vehicle was loaded with weapons!

Automatic rifles, submachine guns, sniper rifles; rocket launchers, man-portable rockets, hand grenades; a large number of bullets.

"Put some in the port, and move some to the yacht," Sean Knight said, "Some people will be coming in the next two days. As long as they come within a kilometer of our island, make them submit to inspection and then drive them away. If they don’t listen, start fighting!"

Douglas Cooper stepped forward, moving the weapons while asking:

"Boss, isn’t the national maritime territory three nautical miles and twelve nautical miles? What does one kilometer mean here?"

"I’d love three nautical miles, but can the guns in our hands shoot that far?"

Douglas Cooper grinned awkwardly.

Lincoln Harrington suddenly said:

"It would be nice if we could mount high-low dual-purpose machine guns all around the island..."

Sean Knight was stunned for a moment then said:

"As long as you can get them, I can definitely mount them!"

Lincoln Harrington laughed, where could he get such a thing?

"Alright, these are enough to deal with civilian ships. After all, the most they have is the old hunting rifle and the likes." As Elijah Hastings carried a box of bullets towards the yacht, he said:

"We need to plan well for this. By the way, boss, should we use Miss Brown’s yacht as well?"

"Fine, I’ll give her a call." Sean Knight went to make the call.

Lana Brown was discussing construction plans with her mother and said with a smile, "Sure, go ahead. I doubt I’ll be using it for a while."

"Alright, I’ll buy you a new one later." Sean Knight said.

"No need, we won’t be using it anyway." Lana Brown was busy with her work and had no interest in leisure.

"Okay, I won’t bother you anymore."

After hanging up the call, Eve Bell asked her daughter:

"Was that Sean? "

"Yes, he said he wanted to borrow the yacht."

"Borrow the yacht? Didn’t mention what for?" Eve Bell frowned.

"No, I didn’t ask either. As long as he can handle it, I won’t worry."

"You really are a lucky guy." Eve laughed and said, "Alright, Sean is sensible and cares about your feelings. That’s good enough."

She didn’t ask if Sean had other women; she saw too many such cases in the Brown Family. Now she thought as long as Sean cared about Lana Brown, it would be fine.

After hanging up the phone, Sean said to Elijah,

"The yacht is settled. Now we split into two groups and patrol mainly around this area. When people come, we persuade them to leave. If they don’t leave, we’ll fight without hesitation."

Sean knew it was time to establish authority.

If they showed any weakness now, more trouble would follow!

He kept an automatic rifle on his back, carried a box of bullets onto the yacht, and prepared to load a few magazines.

The port staff, seeing Sean with so many guns, were envious.

"When I have time, I’ll take you guys to the shooting range." Sean laughed and talked to them.

After all, these people were on their side. Although they didn’t expect much from them now, these people would be more reliable than the ones in Jakarta for the development of the island and any future matters.

"Thank you, Mr. Knight." The staff were overjoyed and said happily.

Once on the yacht, Sean and his team immediately got ready.

Bulletproof vests were necessary, and they needed to prepare enough bullets. A single bullet might be enough for most fishing boats.

But for some more stubborn people, they needed to use more powerful weapons, like rocket launchers.

Elijah and the others were discussing this aspect, while Sean loaded the bullets and then fired a few shots at the sea surface to check the bullet drop.

For the next two days, the direction of the yacht remained tense.

While they were optimistic about what might happen later, they still followed the old saying: despise the enemy strategically, pay attention to the enemy tactically.

Two days later, in the morning, they saw the first approaching boat from the yacht.

It was also a yacht - an old-style yacht, but fast.

The yacht approached the island, trying to dock at the port, probably planning to resupply.

"The port is not open to the public." The port staff shouted through the loudspeaker, "It’s still under construction, not open to the public."

Hearing this response from the port and seeing the rough construction, the people on the yacht gave up on docking and instead shouted:

"Did you see where the fallen plane landed in the past two days? Tell us, and we’ll pay you."

The people at the port shook their heads.

They already knew that Sean wanted to drive these people away, so why would they tell them anything?

"Get out of here, this is a private island, and we don’t entertain outsiders!" At this moment, Elijah shouted through a loudspeaker from the yacht, "The matter of salvaging the plane is dealt with by Harrison’s family, and we don’t need outsiders."

"Who the hell do you think you are?" The person on the yacht seemed to have some influence and spoke quite aggressively, "What business is it of yours what we do?"

"Bang!" The answer was a gunshot.

Sean had been aiming for a while, waiting for his arrogant answer. This shot directly broke the antenna on the yacht!

"Great shooting, boss!" Douglas Cooper flattered.

Sean was quite proud of himself. After all, that antenna wasn’t very thick, and he thought there was an element of luck involved in this shot.

Regardless, the intention to intimidate had been achieved.

The people on the yacht heard the gunshot and immediately chickened out. Without another word, they turned around and left in a sorry state.

"Well, let’s continue like this." Sean put away the gun. Their first move was successful, at least showing these people the danger. It was a good start.

However, the next ordeal almost left him at a loss for what to do.

Because in the next hour, almost simultaneously, over a dozen fishing boats arrived!

Elijah looked at Sean, waiting for his command.

To fight or not to fight?

Seeing the fishing boats approaching in a fan shape, Sean clenched his teeth and said,

"Elijah, warn them through the loudspeaker first! Tell them this is private territory, and if they dare approach, shoot first! Aim at the boat first, and if they don’t retreat, shoot both boat and people!"

Did these people think they were soft just because they had more boats?

Well, let them enjoy the power of bullets!

Sean would not tolerate them!

As the fishing boats approached, Elijah picked up the loudspeaker.

What happens next depends on the other party’s choice!
