Chapter 1382: Chapter 674: None of Them are Easy to Deal With!

Team members were divided, half were digging, half were on guard duty.

Sean Knight saw the direction the team members were heading toward, which was generally toward the warehouse, so he simply stopped guiding. Instead, he pondered how properly to bury the items.

Otherwise, it would not be easy to convert the items in his spatial realm into cash.

Acting during the daytime was definitely not an option, Sean Knight thought that night would be better.

And Viola now idolized Sean Knight so much that wherever Sean went, she followed.

Knowing he couldn’t shoo her away, Sean simply ignored it, just wandering around the forest, activating "Sky Eye," wanting to get a clear view of this old Soviet warehouse, to stir up some trouble.

It must be said, the Russians had always been rather straightforward in nature, with very distinct characteristics: big, rough, clumsy, direct.

Thus, the warehouse also embodied these traits, with its most notable feature being its size!

Being in their own domain, the warehouse was constructed not as intricately as the German ones, just digging a pit on the ground, with a stone foundation, and large stones laid on the bottom. Then a house was built over them, which must have been quite large, but it had completely collapsed now.

The warehouse was divided into numerous parts, each part much larger than the Germans’, of course, now only traces of that remain. In fact, at least half of the interior was empty.

After all, the Soviet supplies were indeed not as abundant as the Germans’—Nazi Germany had plundered the whole of Europe for their strategic supplies foundation.

So, although the warehouse was large, the items inside were far less than at the German side.

The main items were guns, mostly old-fashioned bolt-action rifles. Not even semi-automatic... of course, during World War II, those who could afford semi-automatics on a large scale were the Americans, fortunate enough to have profited from two wars.

Not bad, there were at least fifty or sixty Boxes of what China called "water beads"—Mosin Nagant rifles, a small amount of AVS-36 semi-automatic rifles.

There were quite a few pistols too, mainly TT pistols, followed by PPD submachine guns.

There were dozens of Degtyaryov light machine guns; those were in the smallest quantity and most had traces of use. Clearly, these guns had been rotated on the battlefield, with a batch of parts included.

This battle must have been tough.

Or to say, although it was the Soviet Army that liberated Berlin and Auschwitz Concentration Camp in the end, the Soviets also suffered great losses.

So when dividing Germany, the Soviet Army took quite a bit. As for whether that was a losing business deal in the end, that’s unknown.

A dozen or so Maxim heavy machine guns and SG43 "Gorunov" heavy machine guns, and all were buried in the Soil, severely corroded.

In contrast, there were seventy to eighty Boxes of Hand Grenades, because they were wrapped in oilcloth, they were relatively well-preserved.

Hand Grenades were not on the shopping list that Teluk and Yvonne wanted, so Sean Knight planned to collect all these hand grenades.

One of the warehouse compartments was supposed to hold military garments, but there were no garments at all, only a good amount of quilts and the like, but now they had all been buried in the soil and decomposed.

Continuing forward, he reached the warehouse’s front gate, and here Sean Knight found a large quantity of skeletons.

Looking closely, these skeletons were all shot dead, with their hands still holding rifles, pistols, or other weapons, and there was even one holding a military shovel?

Sean Knight guessed, was this person a special figure in the Soviet army? Why didn’t he have a gun?

Those combating these individuals were a layer of bodies outside the entrance, dressed in German uniforms, holding German weapons, clearly, they were German army personnel.

There were significantly more of them than of the Soviet troops guarding the warehouse, but they mostly fell facing the direction of the warehouse. It can be said that the fight was very fierce, and soldiers from both sides were very brave, with hardly any showing signs of retreating.

Sean Knight didn’t know if this counted as the ultimate battle between the two sides. What puzzled him was why the skeletons of these military personnel hadn’t been collected. Had this battlefield gone undiscovered at the time, or was there another reason?

Perhaps it was for this reason that the contents of the two warehouses were relatively well-preserved.

This was what Sean Knight conjectured as he bypassed the piles of skeletons from both sides and circled toward the other end of the warehouse.

This side had piles of wreckage including tanks and army vehicles. He wondered if they had been destroyed during the battle or if they had decayed over time due to being buried for so long.

Sean Knight glanced at the ground and then walked away.

However, just after taking a couple of steps, Viola caught up breathlessly, but Sean turned back again.

He noticed something by two wrecked tanks near an army vehicle!

He hadn’t paid much attention earlier because he thought this place was likely a repair shop with nothing of value to look at.

But, with Sky Eye, he saw that there really were items under the truck!

The truck had a wooden carriage compartment, including a base made from wood planks. After so many years, it had completely rotted away.

The soil pressing down trapped several Boxes beneath the truck’s carriage boards.

There were about five trucks, all in the same situation—beneath each truck’s carriage boards, there were the same type of Boxes.

The trucks had been deformed by the soil above, and though the wood on the Boxes had also rotted, the Boxes themselves had not greatly changed!

There was definitely something inside!

Sean Knight was glad he hadn’t been fooled to move elsewhere, he immediately ran back, and then started making circles in an area of only a dozen or so meters.
