Chapter 1353: Chapter 664: Had a Blast!_2
"Retreat!" Elijah Hastings ordered again, and it was obvious that the plan needed to change—they couldn’t wait for those people to walk into an ambush anymore. It wasn’t even certain if anyone from this gathering point could make it out anymore.
"These guys are ruthless, the ammunition stored here is at least two or three times what we transported yesterday! This is like begging for a missile strike!"
"They must think that the refugees over there couldn’t possibly organize a force powerful enough to break through their defense," Lincoln Harrington remarked.
"Alright, this place will explode soon, and air forces will surely come to scout later. Let’s enjoy this moment and then retreat immediately," Elijah said on the channel, "Don’t get trapped here by sticking around for the show!"
Everyone evacuated quickly, ditching their heavy gear, so when armed personnel finally emerged from the gathering point, Sean Knight and his team were already far away.
The return journey was easier than the way there. They had completed the arms delivery and pulled off a big one. Although it wasn’t the thrill of hand-to-hand combat, witnessing a huge firework display right before their eyes was pretty good too.
As they progressed, the team members moved forward quickly and quietly, but still managed to share jokes and laughter. Soon, they reached the seaside.
"Switch to diving gear. Those familiar with diving handle the propellors, and the rest follow with ropes. Let’s get out of here first!"
This was the plan for departure—originally they were supposed to return on a cargo ship, but with the ship gone, they had to think of another way.
"Don’t worry, we’ll dive for half an hour, leave this war zone, and then there will be a way," Sean reassured them on the channel, as he unloaded his backpack and began his diving preparation.
As the boss, Sean had his own propeller. The others, about twenty to thirty people, shared six propellers. Each could carry five people. Though slow, it was much better than diving on their own.
Just as Sean and his team submerged, a helicopter flew over and circled the area.
All unnecessary items had been thrown into the water; only some ripples could be seen on the sea surface. The helicopter’s spotlight saw nothing, and then it flew away.
At that moment, if there had been a portable anti-air missile tube, it’s likely many team members would have loved to take a shot at it.
The underwater propellers didn’t move fast, but as they entered the deep ocean, everything around them went silent.
Some team members had begun to wonder whether there would be a rendezvous or even if a boat would come anymore.
After all, with only half an hour’s oxygen in the cylinders, if there was no boat, they would have to surface and be sitting ducks on the sea surface!
Sean’s propeller was for single use, so it was faster. He planned to go ahead, release a yacht, and then pick everyone up.
However, when he was about five to six hundred meters ahead of the others, a cargo ship appeared in front of him.
It was smaller than the one they had been on before it was sunk, but to Sean’s surprise, this ship was also loaded with arms!
Sean deactivated his propeller, moved closer to the ship, and then heard two crew members whispering on the deck.
After listening for a while, Sean suddenly understood!
This cargo ship’s diverse load of arms was actually intended for framing—Jewish operatives had delivered these weapons to the refugee camp and were in contact with people there to come and collect them, while Western reporters and "civilians" were planned to appear on site!
Caught red-handed!
This way, the Jewish operatives had ample reason to attack the refugee camp—on this ship, there was also a big killer!
A true big killer, a thermobaric bomb whose power could rival that of a small nuclear weapon!
Behind the cargo ship, two small speedboats trailed. As it was about to dock, the operatives on the ship would take the speedboats to escape, and the voices Sean now heard belonged to these collaborators!
Perfect timing!
Sean quietly climbed aboard, then swiftly knocked out the two conversing men with a handful of sedative powder, and proceeded to incapacitate everyone else in the cabin who were still unaware.
After stopping the ship, Sean waited.
Soon, Elijah and his team surfaced beside the cargo ship—seeing Sean on the ship, they were both shocked and delighted.
"Get on the ship first, we still have business to attend to!" Sean said quickly.
Once Elijah and his team were aboard, Sean quickly explained the situation.
"Boss, what do we do?" Douglas Cooper, eager for action, asked immediately.
"Are you ready to make a big move?" Sean asked, smirking.
"Why not? We’ve already gone big, but that earlier thrill wasn’t enough!"
"Well, later, let’s have the cargo ship continue to the scheduled location. Once we reach the designated area, don’t dock. Instead, we take the thermobaric bombs out and target those ambushed Jewish operatives and the unscrupulous reporters—how about that?"
"F*ck!" Douglas couldn’t help but give a thumbs up, "Boss, this is indeed a major move! With this, by tomorrow—no, even tonight, this will definitely be all over the news!"
"Ever since I saw that father carrying a photo of his two children who had been blown to pieces, I knew that some people deserve to die, even if they’ve never fired a gun," Sean mused.
"Let’s do it!" Surprisingly, the first to agree was the usually calm Quinn Harrington!
