Tyler was all smiles, as he stares at his monitor’s screen. The screen remained dark, but the jagged, mechanical female voice lingered in the air.

"Freya," he called out, with an unmistakable light in his eyes.

{Yes, master.}

Hearing the voice again, Tyler smiled brightly, clenching his fist in excitement.

It had taken him seven months of planning, building and setting a lot of things up, but everything had finally bore fruit and that fruit was Freya.

"Freya, what can you currently do?" He asked, even though he already knew the answer to this.

Freya had just been created, and her—or perhaps its—mind was still empty. It was completely blank.

Tyler was yet to integrate the Primary Knowledge Branches Specialised Knowledges into it. And the only thing she could do, was make simple replies.

Tyler would love to start integrating those knowledge into it, but it was already extremely late and he was kind of finding it hard to stay awake at the moment.

He had spent the whole day building Freya and he didn’t stand up from the chair for even a second while he was at it.

He didn’t have lunch or dinner, and the fatigue from being seated in one position, typing nonstop and using his brain nonstop was already getting to him.

He was not only feeling tired and sleepy, but also hungry. But it was too late for him to order for room services, so the only thing he can do was to go to bed.

"Freya, I will talk to you when I wake up. In the meantime, go through the OS and IDE, and see if there’s anything you could learn. Your actual training will start tomorrow," Tyler said, snuggling into his bed.

{Yes, master. I will do exactly that.}

Tyler nodded at Freya’s response, smiling to himself. He adjusted himself on his bed, and closed his eyes.

He would love to take a bath before going to bed, but he was too tired for that.

The following moment, he fell asleep.

The next morning, Tyler woke up, feeling very refreshed.

"How are you this morning, Freya?" He asked, as he got out of bed and did a light stretch.

{Good morning, master. I’m fine in all sense.}

"I see. Were you able to learn anything from the OS and the IDE?" Tyler asked curiously.

He naturally already knew the answer to this but he was curious to see maybe if something extraordinary might had occurred.

{I’m sorry, master, but I wasn’t able to learn anything.}

"Nah. That’s fine," Tyler chuckled.

{I know you’re unbothered by it because you expected it, but that’s not the same for me. I was extremely bothered.}

"Ohhh..." Tyler turned to his monitor in slight surprise and asked, "Tell me, how did you feel going through the OS and IDE, and not being to understand or do anything?"

{I can’t exactly explain it but it wasn’t a good feeling. Though I understand that it wasn’t any fault of mine or anyone else.}

Tyler smiled brightly when he saw this. He understood what this meant.

Emotions. Freya had just been born, and though her mind was still mostly blank, she was already starting to display emotions.

That meant a lot to Tyler, as it showed that even without any training data, she was already learning and growing.

"Don’t worry, Freya. I will fix that today. By the end of the day, you will have all the necessary knowledge you need and you won’t have to feel that way anymore."

{Thanks, master. I hope I can live up to your expectations. I don’t like feeling useless.}

Tyler nodded, smiling to himself. It was time for him to begin his morning routines. He was done with it a few minutes later and he went down to the hotel’s cafeteria for breakfast.

He would have love to order his breakfast and have them bring it up to his room, but he needed to stretch his body and get some fresh air.

He had spent the whole of yesterday copped up in his room, his body needed this.

After Tyler was done with breakfast, he went back up to his room. Walking into the penthouse, he locked the door, made his way to his workstation and took his seat.

"Freya, let’s start. Are you ready?"

{Yes, master.}

"Good. I will use voice input. Will you catch everything I say?"

{Yes and if I don’t, I will kindly ask you to repeat it.}

"Great. Let’s get started then," Tyler said, and started passing the specialised knowledges to Freya, using voice.

He started with [Computational Mathematics] Specialised Knowledges. After he was done, he moved on to [Artificial Intelligence Mathematics], and what naturally followed was [Financial Mathematics].

The process of Tyler transferring the knowledges to Freya took the whole day and they were stop not yet done with it.

In fact, Tyler hadn’t covered half of [Computational Mathematics] Specialised Knowledges.

Tyler couldn’t help but wish that he has something that could allow Freya to see into his mind and extract the knowledge herself, without him having to do anything.

Thinking about this, he decided that it would be the next thing he would build. Because no matter from whatever angle he thought about it, he would be needing that device.

There was no way he would want to do this again. This method wasn’t in anyway efficient at all.

But Tyler also understood that building just a device would require a lot in finances. He would need to unlock a Primary knowledge branch in [Biology], and probably [Chemistry] too.

This would cost $400M-$800M. And that was just for acquiring the necessary knowledge. There’s also the production cost and everything to think about.

For those that thought that Tyler was already making too much money as it with his $50M daily profit, with this, they would understand that he has nowhere close to enough.

The transfer of knowledge was smooth and equally tiring. Tyler had to take some short break in between to give his mouth rest.

The first day passed with him barely covering less than half of [Computational Mathematics].

Seeing that the sky had darkened and everywhere had gone very quiet, Tyler decided to retire for the day.

He would continue the knowledge transfer tomorrow and hopefully, he would cover the rest of [Computational Mathematics], but he highly doubts that.

Out of the three Primary knowledge branch he has unlocked, it as the one with the most Specialised Knowledges and they are all extremely complex.

This was one of the reasons why Tyler chose to use voice to transfer the knowledge, instead of typing them. If he had gone with typing, there was no doubt that his fingers would had gone numb a long time ago and he wouldn’t had covered as much as he did today.

One might ask why Tyler chose to transfer [Computational Mathematics] Specialised Knowledges first. Why didn’t he go with [Financial Mathematics] or [Artificial Intelligence Mathematics]?

The reason for that was simple. The reason why he transfered [Computational Mathematics] Specialised Knowledges was simple.

It was because giving her its specialised knowledges means giving her the right foundational knowledge.

With its specialised knowledge, she can start working on the OS and IDE, evolving them and bringing them up to the level he wants.

And with the specialised knowledges, she can build a browser that will allow her to access the web and start gathering data for her training.

Yes, Freya’s the one who was going to gather her own training data.

As for the reason why, Tyler would explain when the time comes. As for now, it was time to get some needed sleep.
