Chapter 951: Chapter 952 Dear Song

"Good!" Nick Kush responded, then slowly retreated toward the door. Song Xiaodong said calmly, "Get these people out of here. They’re an eyesore."

After Nick Kush withdrew, less than two minutes later, people came in and carried out all four Black men plus three Japanese men from the VIP room.

Miao Qingqing hesitated for a moment and said, "Honey! How about... we leave? After all, this is Las Vegas, not our Minghe. Even a mighty dragon struggles on someone else’s turf."

Miao Xuanxuan tilted her chin defiantly and said, "Afraid of what? Just because they dare to mess with our husband? That’s clearly courting death. Hmph! And these people are downright shameless, cheating us with dirty tricks yet accusing us of cheating. They even tried to target us! If we don’t deal with them, how can we let go of this grudge?"

Miao Qingqing frowned and said, "But I still feel like this place isn’t safe."

Song Xiaodong smiled faintly and said, "Don’t worry; soon you’ll see Nick Kush come to apologize to us."

"What I’m afraid of is another group coming to cause trouble for us," Miao Qingqing shook her head and chuckled bitterly.

They hadn’t spoken much when chaotic footsteps echoed in the hallway. Soon after the door swung open, several people rushed in, with Nick Kush and a tall man in his fifties at the center.

Despite the crowd, Miao Qingqing and Miao Xuanxuan weren’t concerned; with Song Xiaodong’s skills, numbers wouldn’t be an issue. However, when their eyes fell on what those men were holding, both of them turned pale, as every one of them was holding a gun.

In Las Vegas, personal firearm ownership is legal. As such a large casino, guns were naturally not in short supply.

Even with Song Xiaodong’s formidable Kung Fu skills, facing so many firearms posed extreme danger. Miao Qingqing deeply regretted not insisting Song Xiaodong leave earlier.

Nick Kush’s face was grim as he gritted his teeth and said, "Boy, here you go! Didn’t you want to cash in those chips? Will you cash them now or not? Haha... I’d like to see if your Kung Fu can outmatch bullets!" His last sentence turned into a mocking taunt, his expression twisting even more grotesquely. With a wave of his hand, those big men rushed in, aiming all their gun barrels at Song Xiaodong.

Miao Qingqing and Miao Xuanxuan’s faces changed dramatically. Modern people have a deep-rooted fear of guns, as their destructive power is immense; a single bullet can claim a life.

Song Xiaodong, however, remained composed. His hands wrapped around Miao Qingqing and Miao Xuanxuan’s waists as he gazed at the men in front of him like the guns were mere toys, posing no threat whatsoever.

"Old Holli, long time no see," Song Xiaodong said leisurely.

The man alongside Nick Kush, Tian Zi, had a peculiar expression throughout. When Song Xiaodong called him out, he forced a dry laugh and said, "My dear Song! What brings you here?"

Nick Kush’s face instantly changed. This guy turned out to be an acquaintance of the casino boss, and he didn’t even show Old Holli any respect in his tone.

More importantly, Old Holli’s attitude toward Song Xiaodong puzzled Nick Kush. There was courtesy, but also a strange air of reverence.

Nick Kush noticed this, and Miao Qingqing and Miao Xuanxuan did too. Both women’s eyes lit up. No wonder Song Xiaodong was so confident—it turned out he knew people here.

Song Xiaodong squinted his eyes slightly and said, "I have to say, Old Holli, you’re still up to your same old tricks after all these years. Profiting off shady deals like this, and yet you haven’t been expelled by the Las Vegas casino regulatory bodies. You’ve got some nerve."

Holli chuckled awkwardly and said, "Song! I’ve always operated lawfully. My casino is entirely oriented toward customer service; I merely earn a tiny bit of commission."

Song Xiaodong shook his head in disdain and said, "I can see that your hypocrisy hasn’t changed one bit."

"Heh heh..." Holli laughed dryly again and said, "Song, what brings you here today?"

Song Xiaodong spoke leisurely, "I just brought my wife here to have some fun and casually win a few hundred thousand before leaving. Yet your guy, Nick Kush, partnered with some Japanese guy to scam me. So... the money I won? You’re going to give it to me."

"That... that’s too much, fifty million! You’re practically asking for my life. You know how much casinos have to pay out..." Holli immediately pulled a distressed face.

"Old Holli, no need to cry poor with me. It’s just fifty million. Besides, I won it fair and square. What, does your casino only allow losing and not winning? Otherwise, I could come back every day to play."

"No, no, no! I’ll pay, I’ll pay!" Holli put on a face of great pain, then turned and glared venomously at Nick Kush, shouting, "You bastard, conspiring with outsiders to scam the casino? I’ll settle this account with you soon."

Nick Kush’s face instantly darkened, "Mr. Holli, I..."

"What ’I’?" Holli roared angrily, "Apologize to Mr. Song immediately!"

Nick Kush quickly complied, approaching Song Xiaodong with a miserable expression and said, "Mr. Song, please forgive me."

Song Xiaodong ignored him, let out a cold snort, and said to Holli, "Old Holli, you’ve made quite a bit of money by now. You should steer clear of this kind of thing in the future. Losing fifty million this time is fine, but next time, you might lose your life. No matter how much money you make, it won’t be worth it if you can’t live to spend it."

Holli responded hastily, "Yes, yes. I’ll transfer the money to Mr. Song right away."

"No need for a check, just transfer it to my account directly," Song Xiaodong said indifferently.

Holli promptly agreed, "No problem." Yet his expression was as miserable as if he’d lost his father. He dismissed the bodyguards and instructed Nick Kush to handle the chip exchange.

Soon after, Song Xiaodong received fifty million. He turned to Holli and said, "Old Holli, this matter is settled for now. But pass a message to that Jinglin Zuoye for me—he owes me five hundred million. If he doesn’t pay up, he’ll learn just how severe the consequences can be."

"That... I can relay the message, but his matters are out of my hands. We’re merely business partners."

Song Xiaodong chuckled and said, "Just pass the message." Then he patted Holli on the shoulder and left with Miao Qingqing and Miao Xuanxuan.

Holli watched Song Xiaodong disappear, then turned to glare viciously at Nick Kush.

"Mr. Holli..." Nick Kush sensed trouble and began retreating nervously.

"You bastard! Are you blind? Making me lose so much—you’re dead meat!" Old Holli roared and started punching and kicking Nick Kush furiously.

Yesterday’s buffer text reserves were used up; starting today, everything has to be written and published on the spot. Update timings will surely be erratic. Plus, I’m heading to Chongqing tomorrow to accompany my daughter for an independent enrollment interview, so updates will be even more unreliable... crying rivers here!
