Chapter 786: Chapter 787: Ice and Fire, Two Worlds
A fragrance as alluring as orchids and musk flooded Song Xiaodong’s nostrils, an indescribably delightful scent that made him unconsciously inhale deeply a few times.
A heat surged instantly from Song Xiaodong’s lower abdomen and rapidly spread throughout his body. That desire for a woman reached an uncontrollable level all at once, prompting him to hold Sun Yiyi even tighter.
Sun Yiyi’s body shuddered, and her arms wrapped even more firmly around Song Xiaodong. Parting her lips, she unexpectedly bit down on Song Xiaodong’s neck.
Song Xiaodong winced in pain, which brought back some clarity to his mind. Suddenly alarmed, he wondered what on earth was happening to him, for he had completely lost any capacity to resist just moments ago. Where had his mental willpower gone?
At that moment, he simply let Sun Yiyi bite him, using the pain to stimulate his consciousness. Eventually, he summoned his willpower again and resumed the struggle against that ferocious, flood-like impulse.
"This scent... could it be some kind of aphrodisiac?" Being an accomplished doctor, Song Xiaodong’s sensibility to such things was certainly much sharper than others.
"Damn! Sun Yiyi is the true epitome of ’enchanting bones.’ When aroused, she can release such a fragrance that any normal man who smells it would find it absolutely impossible to control himself. In the end, he might just exhaust his very essence to death."
Of course, this was an exaggeration, but Song Xiaodong was convinced that it would indeed drive a man crazy. Even if he were made of iron, he would eventually be worn down.
This Sun Yiyi, no wonder the Sun family kept her under house arrest, and no wonder the men of the Sun family feared her. Such a woman was truly the bane of men, simply irresistible to all.
Song Xiaodong was truly grateful that he was bound at the moment, and was even more grateful to be in a tree. Had he been on the ground, he feared he might have lost control by now.
This battle between desire and conscience was by far the most intense and, arguably, the most painful experience for Song Xiaodong. But he knew clear well that once he overcame this hurdle, his mental willpower would become stronger.
More than ten minutes later, an even stronger scent emerged. Song Xiaodong felt as if he were about to reach his breaking point and would not be able to hold on any longer.
After a while, the scent gradually started to fade and eventually dissipated.
Song Xiaodong couldn’t help but heave a sigh of relief, then felt completely drained. His clothes were soaked through with sweat, and he felt as exhausted as if he had just fought an all-out battle with Sun Zhentian.
Although mentally fatigued, his mind was now incredibly clear. Even amidst the darkness, everything around him seemed to emerge in his mind, a wondrous sensation that immersed Song Xiaodong completely.
Su Yiyi didn’t speak, just lying motionless on top of Song Xiaodong, but her mouth had released his neck. Sometime later, her hand lifted and gently traced the bite on Song Xiaodong’s neck, leaving behind a deep impression.
The night was still, and the two of them were equally quiet. Su Yiyi finally broke the silence, "Does it hurt?"
Song Xiaodong cracked a slight smile and said, "It’s alright, thank you for biting me all along."
"I bite you, and you thank me?" Sun Yiyi looked at Song Xiaodong with eyes full of seductive charm.
The smile on Song Xiaodong’s face grew even brighter as he replied, "Yes, otherwise I would have made a mistake."
Sun Yiyi, curious about the expression on Song Xiaodong’s face, didn’t inquire further but chuckled lightly and said, "Really? Would you like another bite?"
"If it’s just for sleeping, then you probably shouldn’t bite anymore."
"Well... I still feel like biting you," Sun Yiyi’s eyes grew increasingly hazy. A light fragrance once again wafted through the air.
Song Xiaodong was indeed attracted to Sun Yiyi, but he was now more looking forward to that clear-headed and peculiar sensation, which faintly made him feel that it might bring him a significant benefit.
"Do whatever you like, tonight you can have your way," Song Xiaodong’s heart was surprisingly calm at the moment, but his body showed a different kind of excitement. It was a completely polarized reaction, yet it all occurred within him alone.
The scent grew stronger and once more Song Xiaodong underwent a trial by fire and water, experiencing unhuman torment and endurance on one side, and the enhancement of Mental Willpower on the other.
What really left Song Xiaodong speechless, however, was that Sun Yiyi came again and again, leaving him feeling almost completely drained.
In the end, Song Xiaodong fell into an exhausted sleep, and as for whether Sun Yiyi moved or not, he no longer cared.
When Song Xiaodong woke up, Sun Yiyi was no longer on top of him, but was leaning against a tree branch opposite him, smiling at him.
Song Xiaodong stretched his arms, feeling very spirited, and said with a smile, "Good morning."
"Good morning to you too," Sun Yiyi replied with a smile, then blinked and pointed at Song Xiaodong, saying, "You’re like this even when I’m not on top of you, how shameless."
Song Xiaodong looked down at his pants and chuckled, "That proves I’m a normal man."
Sun Yiyi spat at him, "You’re just a big lecher."
Song Xiaodong laughed, "Really? But last night... someone was quite insatiable."
"Did I? I did not? I definitely did not," Sun Yiyi shook her head vehemently with a serious face, but her eyes and brows were filled with endless charm. After last night, she seemed to glow more radiantly and looked even more alluring, as if her power to bewitch all living beings had become even stronger.
Song Xiaodong untied the rope and said, "I’m going to relieve myself first."
"Go on, then we need to catch up with them, or we’ll be in trouble if they get away."
After Song Xiaodong relieved himself, he and Sun Yiyi grabbed something to eat. Just as they were about to head for the camp, two people were overheard talking as they walked toward them.
"This is definitely no accident, it’s got to be premeditated, or how could Gang Tian possibly die?"
Song Xiaodong was momentarily stunned and looked at Sun Yiyi, while Sun Yiyi looked back at him with a puzzled face.
"They had someone die last night," Song Xiaodong moved next to Sun Yiyi, leaned in close to her, and whispered in her ear.
Sun Yiyi didn’t say a word, but her eyes showed surprise. Those people were all experts, how could they die without reason and without any noise?
