Song Xiaodong then added, "Qingyue, don’t be so serious. Qinghe, just be yourself, they are all easy to get along with."

"Hey, cousin, I never knew you were in such a situation before. Are you really okay with this?" Shui Qinghe curiously asked Shui Qingyue.

Su Yuya laughed and said, "That makes sense. Our Family Head is an extraordinary Divine Doctor. To him, what you have is just a minor issue."

Upon hearing Song Xiaodong’s voice, Xiao Yingying and Miao Xuanxuan also came out, and Shui Qingyue, fearing they might misunderstand, quickly introduced everyone to each other.

Shui Qinghe looked at Miao Xuanxuan and Xiao Yingying, her lips involuntarily twitching. She’d thought that with Shui Qingyue’s beauty, she’d have an advantage by Song Xiaodong’s side, but now she saw there was no such advantage at all. Shui Qingyue had initially intended to arrange for Shui Qinghe to stay in a different villa, but Shui Qinghe insisted on living in the main villa. After all, she didn’t know anyone here, and it would be even more uncomfortable if she left Shui Qingyue.

"Let’s just let her stay here, we’ll have an extra playmate," Xiao Yingying said with a smile.

"Pfft..." Xiao Yingying broke into laughter and said, "Sister Xuanxuan, is that supposed to be a punishment or a reward for him?"

Song Xiaodong laughed and said, "Alright, you two help out as well, you’re the ladies of the house after all. It doesn’t look good if you don’t care about these things."

Xiao Yingying and Miao Xuanxuan then ran in to help.

Lin Su’er came back in the evening as well, having been in the deputy director position for some time. She was gradually shedding her youthful nurse image, carrying now a sense of authority of someone in a high position. While still as gentle as before, she had become different from her past self, gaining an even more charming allure.

This made Shui Qinghe feel even more disheartened; how come every one of Shui Qingyue’s rivals were so formidable?

During dinner, Shui Qinghe kept stealing glances at everyone, but realized that all the girls were at ease, with none of the backstabbing or jealousy one might expect. It seemed everyone was quite accommodating, and no one was monopolizing Song Xiaodong’s attention.

After dinner, everyone chatted in the living room for a while before Miao Xuanxuan cheerfully said, "Qingyue, we’re off to rest. Are you coming with us?"

Shui Qingyue instantly turned red and said, "You go ahead."

Then Shui Qinghe watched as Song Xiaodong and Miao Xuanxuan stood up and headed upstairs, with Xiao Yingying pulling the somewhat awkward Lin Su’er along with them.
