Song Xiaodong and Miao Xuanxuan did not show themselves immediately. Their car had stopped outside the mine factory, and now the two were hiding in a dark corner watching everything unfold.

The guy named Erhei facing Lin Su’er’s father, Lin Gang, glared fiercely and barked, "Lin Gang, you son of a bitch, playing tough with me, huh? Erhei zi snorted coldly, "Is that so? Then call him over. I want to see if he’s as capable as you claim."

Song Xiaodong suddenly felt a small hand pressing on his lower back, the thumb and forefinger pinching a fold of skin and twisting hard.

"Hey, Xuanxuan, ease up a bit, that hurts," Song Xiaodong quickly turned his head and whispered into Miao Xuanxuan’s ear.

"Alright then, so you’ve become someone’s son-in-law, my dear brother-in-law," Miao Xuanxuan ground her teeth.

Song Xiaodong grinned and said, "I was just helping Su’er. You saw for yourself how rotten her dad is. Besides, if I really feared being found out, why would I bring you along?" Saying this, Song Xiaodong gently kissed the lobe of Miao Xuanxuan’s ear.

Miao Xuanxuan felt her body soften instantly, released her hand, and gave Song Xiaodong a push, saying, "Humph, it’s easy for you to talk a good game, but don’t think you can take advantage of me so easily. I’ll check this out thoroughly. Don’t tell me you’re messing around with that nurse Lin Su’er again. You men always have a special fascination with nurses, female cops, and the like."
