Chapter 352 - 353: Do As You Please
Chapter 352: Chapter 353: Do As You Please
"Go to hell, Song Xiaodong! I’m warning you, I can overlook the kiss, but if you dare to use that broken gun on me again... I’ll fight you with everything I’ve got."
Watching Qiao Yutong’s panicked yet teeth-gritting expression, Song Xiaodong pressed down on her shoulders firmly.
"Oh..." Qiao Yutong shuddered, quickly straightened up, and angrily shouted, "You bastard... do you believe I’ll kill you?"
"Don’t believe ya." Song Xiaodong pressed down again.
"You... you... I’m going to kill you, I swear I will..."
Qiao Yutong was a stubborn girl. Every time Song Xiaodong pushed her down, she got back up, determined to avoid any contact with his "broken gun."
But after a few times, her strength was failing, her body was growing weaker, and an indescribable sensation spread throughout her body from where the gun touched.
"Song Xiaodong, if you dare do that again... You... I’ll marry you, and you won’t have a say in it!"
Song Xiaodong’s movements suddenly stopped, he stepped back, tossed Qiao Yutong to the ground, and ran off without a trace.
Qiao Yutong nearly fell, hastily steadying herself against a tree. When she looked up, Song Xiaodong was nowhere to be seen.
This filled Qiao Yutong with a burning rage, "Asshole! Son of a bitch! Just you wait, if you ever fall into my hands again, I swear I’ll kill you, for sure! Definitely!"
Even after being bullied by Song Xiaodong, Qiao Yutong wasn’t this angry. Despite his perverse behavior, she had a deep-seated respect for him, always fighting back verbally but inwardly admitting to his strength.
Even if she was bullied, she found it quite enjoyable in a way she knew she shouldn’t; yet her body’s reaction conceded her fondness for it.
But the moment she mentioned marrying him, he ran like a scarecrow. That was a huge insult to Qiao Yutong; she couldn’t stand it. At that moment, if she caught Song Xiaodong, she would shoot him in the head without hesitation.
"Xiao Qiao, Xiao Qiao!" A colleague’s voice called from not too far away.
Qiao Yutong took a deep breath and replied loudly, "I’m here, I’ve caught the person." Then she quickly straightened her clothes, not wanting her colleagues to see her disheveled.
Soon her colleagues arrived, and seeing the unconscious criminal on the ground, they couldn’t help but take another look at Qiao Yutong. This policewoman was indeed violent enough to nearly beat the criminal to death, but no one sympathized with the perpetrator.
The next day, Song Xiaodong and Miao Xuanxuan came to the club together again, chatting and laughing as if they had never been a couple who had broken up.
After the class, Song Xiaodong checked his phone and saw a WeChat message from Li Sijie asking him to come upstairs to see her.
As it happened, Miao Xuanxuan had lunch plans with her girlfriends, so Song Xiaodong went to Li Sijie’s office alone.
"President Li, what do you need me for?" Song Xiaodong asked casually as he entered.
Li Sijie said with a touch of wistfulness, "Can’t I find you if there’s nothing wrong?"
Song Xiaodong rubbed his nose and chuckled, replying, "If you come to find me with nothing wrong, then I’m even happier."
In matters of the heart, up to now, Song Xiaodong had truly liked only Miao Xuanxuan. Miao Xuanxuan had taken the initiative to give up on him for the sake of her sister. Although Song Xiaodong had a good relationship with Miao Qingqing, it was nothing like the feelings he had for Miao Xuanxuan.
Therefore, Song Xiaodong had more or less returned to his previous state, free from the encumbrances of romance, doing things more at his own pace. Facing Li Sijie, he could now chat and laugh with ease.
Li Sijie’s face reddened as she chided, "There you go again, with your sweet talk. Aren’t you afraid Xuanxuan will find out and get angry with you?"
Song Xiaodong shrugged his shoulders, saying, "Xuanxuan... huh, we’re not in that kind of relationship anymore. We’ve broken up."
Li Sijie expressed her surprise, "Broken up? Weren’t you two fine? I saw you both arriving and you were chatting and laughing together, and you seemed very close."
"We’re just friends now. If we can’t be lovers, we can still be friends, right?" Song Xiaodong shrugged his shoulders again, feeling somewhat helpless. He knew very well that even if he couldn’t be with Miao Qingqing, Miao Xuanxuan couldn’t be with him either.
"You two really are nonchalant about it." Although Li Sijie was curious, she didn’t pry further, yet in her heart, she felt a hint of pleasure.
Gathering her emotions, Li Sijie said, "Right, I came to talk to you about the dividends. Currently, our club doesn’t have any other investments, so the profits we make each month can be directly used as dividends."
"We’re already getting dividends?" Song Xiaodong asked with a beaming smile.
"Yes, now that we don’t have the burden of rent, and nobody comes to our club to cause trouble, the business is naturally getting better and better. Haven’t you noticed that our number of students is growing?"
"It seems like it. There indeed are many more people in the club. President Li really knows how to manage."
"Now you’re flattering me too," Li Sijie spat at Song Xiaodong playfully, her mood greatly lifted. She was acutely aware of the difficulties the club had surmounted, but ever since she had met Song Xiaodong, conducting business seemed much simpler. The troublesome people didn’t dare to come anymore, and it seemed like inspections and such were almost nonexistent.
"Dongzi, this is all thanks to you. So I was thinking of increasing your share to forty percent. What do you think?"
"Why so much?" Song Xiaodong asked, puzzled.
"Aside from the rent you saved me being considered as part of your investment, there is also a lot of intangible assets being invested, like your networks. Take the last fire safety inspection; if it weren’t for your connections, this club wouldn’t even be able to operate. So all of this should be considered part of your shares. Honestly, even giving you forty percent, I feel it’s not too much. I know you aren’t lacking this money and don’t want to manage matters, which is why I boldly kept sixty percent for myself."
Song Xiaodong laughed and said, "If you know I’m not lacking this money, then you don’t have to give me any special shares. Just keep it for yourself."
"Dongzi..." Li Sijie stood up and walked in front of Song Xiaodong. She bit her lip and said, "Dongzi, you’ve been so good to me, I really don’t know how to repay you. I... I..."
"What about you?" Song Xiaodong stretched out his arms, wrapped them around Li Sijie’s waist, and with a pull, she was already sitting on his lap.
Li Sijie buried her head in Song Xiaodong’s chest and whispered, "I... whatever you want, I’m willing."
