"No, no, we’ll go together," replied Shen Yue, quickly tightening her grip on Song Xiaodong’s arm.

Liu Feiyan smiled and said, "Alright, we won’t disturb you two anymore. When you come back to school, we’ll interrogate you then."

After splitting from Liu Feiyan and Li Yuting and entering the elevator, Song Xiaodong looked at Shen Yue and said, "Can you let go now?"

"Not letting go!" Shen Yue’s cheeks turned pink, though she no longer clung to Song Xiaodong’s arm, her small hands still held on.

Song Xiaodong could only shake his head and let her hold on.

Upon reaching the maternity ward floor, Song Xiaodong exited the elevator, followed immediately by Shen Yue. Then, seeing what Song Xiaodong was carrying, she exclaimed in surprise, "Your wife had a baby?"

Song Xiaodong narrowed his eyes slightly and said, "Yes."

"Oh my gosh, you actually have a wife." Shen Yue’s little mouth puckered up.

"What does my having a wife have to do with you?" Song Xiaodong chuckled lightly.

Song Xiaodong shook his head and walked straight towards the ward.

"Pfft!" Song Xiaodong, seeing Song Xiaoru’s embarrassed and awkward expression, couldn’t help but burst into laughter.

Song Xiaoru immediately pinched Song Xiaodong’s ear and scolded, "You bad boy, what nonsense have you been spouting out there?"

Song Xiaodong cried out in pain before Song Xiaoru let go, then said, "I didn’t do anything, it was that girl who said it. She’s Deputy Mayor Shen’s daughter. Last time I treated her dad, and she remembered me." Song Xiaodong briefly explained the situation.
