Chapter 1044: Chapter 1045 Zhao Hua Died

Song Xiaodong went with Dragon Six to get the results this time. Seeing the conclusion on the document, Song Xiaodong let out a long sigh of relief.

“99.9% blood relation.”

This indicates that Zhao Hua is biologically related to her mother, meaning she is not the Princess at all.

“Congratulations, Young Master!” Dragon Six also saw the results and immediately said with a smile.

Song Xiaodong laughed and said, “Why congratulate me for this?”

Dragon Six laughed and said, “This is a blessing for the Young Master and also for our Dragon Gate. If this woman were our Princess, I’m afraid any sect member would be uncomfortable with it.”

Song Xiaodong nodded and said, “You’re right. Now let’s investigate where she got the Dragon Badge.”

Dragon Six said, “Yes! We’ll go find Zhao Hua immediately.”

As they were talking, Song Xiaodong’s phone rang. It was Dragon Nine calling.

“Young Master, something bad happened!” As soon as the call connected, Dragon Nine shouted.

“What is it?” Song Xiaodong immediately asked, knowing that Dragon Nine wouldn’t be this alarmed if it weren’t serious.

“Zhao Hua is dead!”

“What? She’s dead?” Song Xiaodong shouted in shock and quickly asked, “How did she die? Weren’t you secretly following her all the time?”

“Yes, this morning she went out with a few young people and then booked a room at a hotel. I couldn’t just go in, who knew they would end up taking drugs and acting recklessly in there. Just now those guys ran out in a panic, and when I went in, she was already breathless; it should be an overdose or something.”

Song Xiaodong frowned and said, “Tell me the address quickly; I need to go check.”

Ten minutes later, Song Xiaodong arrived at the hotel. The police, Zhao Hua’s mother, and emergency personnel were already there.

The police blocked Song Xiaodong, and he immediately said, “I’m a doctor!”

Dragon Six quickly said, “This gentleman is a renowned doctor, and maybe the patient still has a chance to be saved.”

With Dragon Six’s influence here, the police let Song Xiaodong into the room after hearing him say that.

After entering, Song Xiaodong saw Zhao Hua lying on a bed, completely naked, with numerous scratches and kiss marks on her body, and a peculiar smell lingered in the air.

A doctor was performing CPR on Zhao Hua.

Song Xiaodong checked Zhao Hua’s pulse, then dropped his hand in defeat; she was completely pulseless, utterly dead.

Her cause of death was clearly due to taking drugs followed by excessive indulgence, excitement leading to sudden cardiac arrest. If treated timely by someone knowledgeable, it wouldn’t be a big problem, but any slight delay meant no saving her.

“Damn it!” Song Xiaodong cursed inwardly; Zhao Hua’s death came at the worst possible moment, right when he confirmed she wasn’t the Princess.

Song Xiaodong felt no sorrow for Zhao Hua’s death; this kind of woman would be a menace on earth. But if she were to die, it should have been after he gets some answers.

“How is she? How is she?” Zhao Hua’s mother immediately grabbed Song Xiaodong’s arm agitatedly as he came out.

Song Xiaodong glanced at Zhao Hua’s mother; this woman looked quite fine, and he wondered what kind of man she found to sire such a defective offspring as Zhao Hua.

“Nothing can be done, prepare for the funeral,” Song Xiaodong said flatly.

“Ah! Impossible! Impossible!” Zhao Hua’s mother screamed madly and then rushed into the bedroom.

A mother doesn’t see flaws in her child; no matter how bad Zhao Hua is, she is obviously still the most important in her mother’s eyes.

Zhao Qun then arrived, saw Song Xiaodong and Dragon Six, hesitated for a moment, then his face darkened, “What are you doing here?”

Dragon Six answered, “My friend is a doctor, happened to be here, so he helped take a look.”

Zhao Qun nodded and said, “I don’t want my daughter’s situation to be spread from your mouths.”

Dragon Six said calmly, “Rest assured, we have no interest in that.”

Song Xiaodong actually wanted to talk to Zhao Qun, hoping to ask where the Dragon Badge came from, but in the current situation, no answers would come even if asked, so he had to leave with Dragon Six temporarily.

In Dragon Six’s car, Song Xiaodong said, “Find an opportunity later; can you speak to Zhao Qun and see if you can get information about the Dragon Badge, find the real Princess.”

Dragon Six replied respectfully, “Yes, but I suppose it may take ten days or so, otherwise, if I try discussing now, nothing will come of it.”

Song Xiaodong nodded and said, “Then there’s no rush; as long as the Princess’s identity isn’t exposed, there shouldn’t be a problem with safety.”

“True, but it’s better to find her sooner; this is our Dragon Gate’s top priority, the subordinates absolutely dare not slack off.”

After arranging everything, Song Xiaodong went directly to Tiannan, as he still had business with the Ding family the following day.

He arrived at his former home in Tiannan, where Feng Kexin now lived, while Dragon Nine stayed to assist Dragon Six.

By the time he got home, it was almost midnight. Before coming, Song Xiaodong had already called Feng Kexin, so she was still waiting for him.

“Brother!” As Song Xiaodong entered, Feng Kexin greeted him eagerly.

As he changed his shoes, Song Xiaodong said, “It’s so late, why haven’t you slept?”

“Waiting for you, of course.” Feng Kexin said, already snuggling into Song Xiaodong’s arms, then lifting her head to give him a fragrant kiss.

Song Xiaodong hugged her waist and smiled, “Smells great, looks like I’m lucky tonight.”

Feng Kexin chuckled softly, “Anyway, here I am, you do as you please.”

Song Xiaodong laughed heartily, then sat on the sofa with Feng Kexin, getting a bit affectionate, before she inquired about the matters over there.

Song Xiaodong narrated Zhao Hua’s sudden death.

Feng Kexin listened, wide-eyed and speechless, “I don’t know what to say, this is too coincidental. Managed to prove she’s not the Princess, and now she’s dead. Finding the real Princess has become rather troublesome now.”

Song Xiaodong said helplessly, “Hopefully her parents know where this Dragon Badge came from.”

“There’s no need for you to rush; as long as the Princess is still around, she will eventually be found, she should be within their social circle.”

Song Xiaodong sighed and said, “It’s been over twenty years, need to see when she got this Dragon Badge, if it was a long time ago, the social circle would’ve changed so much, finding her won’t be easy.”
