Adam, on the other hand, didn’t even spare her a glance and walked away with Elly in tow.

Sophia saw that Adam had no intention of acknowledging her, so she stepped forward to block their way.

Adam gave her a cold look, and the iciness in his eyes instinctively made Sophia’s pupils contract in fear.

"President Jones, it’s like this, my mother..."

The two icy words burst from Adam’s lips without any intent of saving face for Sophia.
