Elly Campbell sensed her unhappiness, patted her shoulder, and pointed to a nearby clothing store, saying, "Your birthday is in a few days, let’s go pick out a dress, it’ll be my gift to you."

Taking a deep breath and maintaining her composure, Helen addressed Leanne Richards, "Mrs. Hall, as I said, this black card is my friend’s, not Harry Hall’s. I’ve already broken up with him, please stop harassing me, okay?"

The fact that she had broken up with Harry Hall was something Helen Melendy had emphasized many times, but Leanne Richards wouldn’t believe it.
