REINCARNATION OF THE STRONGEST WAR HERO
Chapter 125: A SUDDEN VISIT

Chapter 125: A SUDDEN VISIT

"What? Are you absolutely sure about what you’re saying?" John asked hurriedly.

"Yes, Mr. John. Our tracker followed the footsteps and the trail of blood. The attackers took the boy and headed into a mountainous region. Our tracker followed the same path.

On the way up to a mountain, at a narrow path, he found a corpse. According to the coachman’s description—it matches one of the three attackers. So it’s clear that there was a fight there. And one of them lost his life in it.

And up to that point, signs of four people were found."

He paused for a moment before continuing.

"But after that, only two people’s trail continued forward. One body was found on the trail, and only two moved on. So it’s quite clear that Logan must’ve fallen down the cliff. There’s no other explanation that fits."

He explained everything in a calm but serious tone.

John fell into deep thought.

Then suddenly, as if something sparked inside him, a bit of hope returned.

"Isn’t it possible... that Logan escaped somehow?"

The young man shook his head.

"I would’ve been happy if that was true. But there were only signs of four people going. Not of anyone returning."

John’s small hope faded again.

He still didn’t want to believe it.

Logan had so much potential.

If raised properly, he could have become a treasure for the entire kingdom.

John slowly stood up from his chair and walked toward the window. He stared outside silently, deep in thought.

Then suddenly, another question left his lips.

"What if the one who fell... was another one of the attackers? And the other attacker took Logan away?"

The young man didn’t reply immediately.

His hesitation wasn’t because he didn’t have an answer—

It was because he didn’t know if he should say it or not, after seeing how desperately John wanted to believe otherwise.

John noticed this too.

"Don’t worry. Speak freely.

This 64-year-old body has already seen enough tragedy."

The young man finally nodded and said,

"The coachman said that when Logan was being taken, he was heavily injured. And blood was pouring out from several of his injuries.

The tracker also confirmed it—a trail of blood was found up to the dead body. After that..."

He didn’t finish the sentence.

He didn’t need to.

The meaning was clear.

The blood trail ended there.

Two didn’t advance further.

No one came back.

So what happened to Logan?

To him... the answer was already obvious.

John closed his eyes, pressing a hand against the cold window glass. The chill crept into his skin, but his thoughts stayed on Logan—so much potential, now possibly lost.

At the same time, somewhere else.....

A carriage was speeding along the road from Solvane to Aerundale. And at this moment, two people were sitting inside it—

Daliah and Rowan.

Usually, whenever the two of them were together, there was always laughter, teasing, and a warm atmosphere. But right now, none of that was present.

Both of them sat in silence, gazing out the window.

There was tension between them—a single question haunting both their minds:

"Is Logan alright?"

In just a few days, Logan had become a close companion to Rowan.

They never labeled it as friendship, but they didn’t need to.

And Daliah?

Her eyes looked a bit swollen—clearly, she had been crying.

On any normal day, Rowan might have teased her for it, turned it into a joke. But now, the mood between them was too heavy for that.

Finally, breaking the long silence, Daliah asked,

"Do you think he’s okay?"

She couldn’t take the tension anymore.

"I hope so. But at this point... we can’t be sure," Rowan replied quietly.

He had already sent two royal guards along with the coachman to investigate.

Now, the only thing he could do was wait—and pray for the best. \n(o)v.e\l.com

Even though he desperately wanted to do something, anything to make sure Logan was safe...

he was helpless.

Time continued to pass slowly as the carriage moved steadily toward its destination.

Next day morning in the Smith family villa.... .com

The soft glow of the early morning sun spread gently across the estate, and Mirena sat on the balcony, lost in deep thought.

Her mind kept going back to what had happened at the Third Eye Sect.

"Logan must be using some secret training method. That’s why he’s so far ahead in terms of talent. Selfish brat. How dare he keep it all to himself?"

Mirena silently cursed Logan in her mind. Just then, Darius stepped onto the balcony and joined her.

"Mom, is everything alright? You’ve seemed really worried since yesterday," he asked.

Without even looking at him, Mirena replied,

"It’s nothing. Forget about me. How’s your training going?"

Darius let out a bitter sigh.

"What’s the point of training? I couldn’t even do anything in the tournament. People are probably laughing at me now."

Mirena turned toward him sharply, her tone harsh and unforgiving.

"Darius, if you plan to stay stuck over a few losses, then don’t even tell anyone you’re my son. I won’t be able to lift my head in shame. Until you defeat Logan—

there is no stopping. You must become the family patriarch. No matter what."

Even though she said those words with conviction, something about them rang hollow in her own ears.

Because among the few people who had even a vague idea of Logan’s true strength...

she was one of them.

She was about to say more to Darius when suddenly, a commotion caught her attention.

Looking toward the main gate, she saw a carriage coming to a stop.

Just from its design and emblem, it was clear—someone important had arrived.

And her hunch was spot on.

As the coachman opened the door, a young man of about 18 or 19 stepped out first.

The moment Mirena saw him, her elegant expression froze in shock.

It was Rowan.

The Third Prince.

And right after him, another person stepped out.

It was Daliah.
