Even Brandon is surprised, seeing no reaction from Julia. What he doesn’t know is that she is just shocked by what is happening. Julia finally reacts, moving away from him and slapping him hard on the face.

"What the fuck do you think you are doing?" Julia yells. Brandon holds his cheek as the slap stings, staring at Julia like an idiot.

Even Xu Lin gets startled and turns around to see Julia shouting at the man she saw sleeping on the couch when she came in.

"What’s happening here?" Adam asks as he walks in. Julia, seeing Adam walk in, opens her mouth. "This asshole just grabbed my ass," Julia says, looking at him. "What?" Adam feigns surprise and then disgust when he looks at Brandon.

Brandon, seeing Adam’s reaction, realizes that he fell into a trap and is about to out Adam, but Adam is just too fast for him. Adam drives a punch into Brandon’s gut, knocking the breath out of him, before grabbing him by his hair and dragging him out of the house.

Julia watches with wide eyes as she sees how Adam easily manhandles a big guy like Brandon. They are about the same in height and size, but seeing Brandon struggling against Adam even as he tries his best to free himself from Adam’s grip makes Julia realize that all those muscles that Adam has are not just for show.

Adam drags Brandon out of the house and throws him out. "Now leave and don’t you dare make a fucking scene if you want to keep your job," Adam says, giving Brandon a cold glare. Brandon gets back to his feet while clutching his stomach. If looks could kill, Adam would be dead this very moment.

Brandon grits his teeth in anger. The humiliation he has suffered at Adam’s hands has crossed the line; he vows to make Adam’s life hell, but this is not the right time for that. Adam has something that can ruin him, so Brandon can only keep his mouth shut and leave.

He turns away from Adam and leaves. Watching Brandon drag his sorry ass out of the gate brings great pleasure to Adam. But this is just the beginning. Brandon has no idea that his life is going to turn out even worse from this moment onward.

Once Brandon disappears from his sight, Adam goes back in and sees Julia and Xu Lin staring at him. Xu Lin looks at Adam as if he is some kind of hero because of how easily he took care of that bad man who sexually harassed Madam Julia.

As for Julia, she is feeling conflicted. She never expected Adam would get physical with someone else for her. A part of her liked it a lot and made her realize that even though Adam hates her, a part of him cares for her as well.

And just like Adam, she too has two different perspectives about him: one side desires him a lot, and the other side despises him for the way he treats her.

"Let’s keep what happened here to ourselves. Even though he is a fucking pig, he is a much-needed employee of my dad’s. Do you understand?" Adam asks.

"Yes, Master Adam..." Xu Lin says, nodding her head. Adam then turns to look at Julia, who is still keeping her mouth shut.

"Julia, I asked, do you understand?" Adam questions her again.

"He touched my ass!" Julia says angrily.

"And for that, he paid the price. He wouldn’t dare even look at you. I made sure of it," Adam says, taking a step forward, peering into Julia’s eyes and making his intention clear.

Julia stares back into Adam’s striking eyes, and her feelings waver. "Fine..." she says, scoffs, and walks away.

Adam smirks as he watches Julia’s sexy ass sway left and right as she storms off.

An hour goes by, and the whole family is at the dining table. Jack looks around for Brandon, as he is nowhere to be seen.

"Where’s Brandon?" Jack asks, looking at Julia. Julia opens her mouth but stops herself from saying anything; instead, she looks at Adam.

Seeing this, Jack turns to Adam. "He left early, said something about being early for the presentation," Adam says.

Jack nods his head and goes back to looking at his tablet. Julia stares at Adam and begins to wonder what Adam is planning. Why is he saving that pathetic man’s job?

Julia knows that Adam really didn’t give a shit about what happens to Jack’s company, so she doesn’t understand this fake concern Adam is showing towards Jack’s company. She begins to wonder what is going on inside that wicked head of his regarding that asshole who just grabbed her ass.

Little does she know that things would have been a lot different if Adam had not regressed back in time. The same man that she finds disgusting right now is the same man she chose over Jack.

But of course, this timeline is different because all it took was for Adam to put Brandon in his place just once to make Julia lose all her interest in him.

She is a woman who likes men who are in charge, and Brandon didn’t look like someone who could take charge when confronted by Adam in the past, and it was proven once again today when Adam dismissed Brandon like a child.

The reason Brandon managed to win over Julia in the past was because Adam was a pushover, and Jack was too busy with his own work to notice Brandon getting closer to his wife.

Noticing Julia is staring at him, Adam turns to look at her and smirks, making Julia frown. ’He really is up to something, and I don’t like it,’ Julia thinks, frustrated, but she can’t do anything but wait to see what Adam is planning to do, as she doesn’t think Adam is going to reveal his plans to her even if she got on her knees and begged him to reveal it to her.

Julia looks away, not wanting to entertain Adam even more.

Jack finishes his breakfast and leaves. Adam also finishes his breakfast and is about to leave when he stops and looks back at Julia.

"Ah, I forgot to mention. I have a girl sleeping in my room. Don’t be a bitch to her like you were with the other girl last time," Adam says with a smirk and leaves.

Julia just glares at him. ’Wait, he had a girl over last night? Then why did he come over to spy on me? Was she not good enough? Did he need me to satisfy his hunger?’ Julia’s thoughts start running, and the more she thinks about it, the more she is pleased knowing that Adam’s desire for her is her greatest weapon, and she needs to use it wisely.

The last time she tried to seduce him, it didn’t work. But she believes Adam won’t be able to resist for much longer.

’I need to up my game, but I also need to be prepared,’ Julia thinks as her wicked mind starts forming a plan.

Adam drives to work. He can’t believe he got lucky and acquired something that earned him leverage over Julia.

When he asked Brandon to grab Julia’s ass, he was a little iffy about the whole thing because he didn’t know how Julia would react. But he was also not foolish enough to rely on Julia’s reaction over Brandon’s action.
