Rebuilding the Immortal Cultivator Clan

It's another story set in a dog eat dog world. While i admit i enjoy the first few hundreds chapters, i kinda lost my interest by the time the family got into the new realm. MTL? Oh yes clearly. Pronouns change here and there, terms got mixed up along the way but the story is still readable enough to understand. It is not straight up garbage okay. I like that the power up in the story do really consider an awful a lot of time. The power up is not instant, it took years, hundreds even. It took 200 years for MC get to the golden core, so yeah, no instant power up just a little bit of using golden finger and fortuitous encounter. I like that MC doesn't get everything he want. He concede, take a step back, so the enemy won't immediately crush his family. Rare object from auction? There's no such thing a rare object that only he know and nobody wants, Li Zhurui often doesn't get the item he wants bcs of lack of spirit stones or even power. A thousand years and even that Li Zhirui family is yet the strongest in the original realm. So yes, when he ascend to to new realm he starts from the bottom line AGAIN. 

While i do like the trope "building clan/family" in this story there are also aspects i clearly don't like. Let's start from what's bugging me the most, MORALITY. At first i enjoy people from Li family defeating others family/sect bcs they're clearly have ill intentions towards Li family, but as the story progress further. Li zhurui along others just become the same people they fight. Other family use their vassal family as cannon fodder? Li family also do that, Killing others bcs they threaten their power? They also do that. Conduct inhumane experiment towards another person? Also yes, and bunch of others vile act that another cultivator family do, Li family also do that. So really they're no different from their enemies. Everyone fights for power, everyone betrays each other, and everyone will kill if they have the upper hand. These cultivator are all bunch of selfish people. None of them are actually kind, none of them actually have solid reason to get strong other than to live forever. If others are evil and Li family are the lesser evil. Others are bad and Li family also bad, but just not as bad as others.

I'm just tired with the plot going nowhere. It's just a cycle of stories killing people, take their resources and grow stronger. That's it. I enjoy Li zhixuan and Li zhiyue story but sadly their story got scrapped. I was waiting for Li Chengshuo get married and that also didn't happen. I was waiting for some chara dev yet every character is still the same like the first they were introduced. Much as i like Li zhirui family, that alone cannot hold my intrest any longer. I'm tired if the cycle repeats for another 163816328x times bcs there will be another higher realm than the current one and once the enter it, the Li family need to start over.

Another classic family cultivation book, has a good world setting (even if its basic i like it), Mc isnt extremely lucky either hes just strong, I dont like how much importance they put on "temperament", 5/5.
