Reborn to outshine My Ex and His White Moonlight -
Chapter 210: Using Her to Take Everything Back
Chapter 210: Chapter 210: Using Her to Take Everything Back
Red house.
The interior of the house was beautiful, yet for some reason, it was pervaded by an eerie feeling.
Accustomed to being served, Gong Yan had only left two maids to take care of Chen Sulan.
Lin Zhiyi was taken to an upstairs room.
When the door first opened, the room was pitch-black, and before she could even adjust, she was pushed to the ground.
Struggling to her feet to rush out, the door had been locked.
She felt afraid of the darkness that seemed like an endless abyss, and reaching out her hand, she turned on the light.
After clearly seeing the room’s layout, her face turned deadly pale as she froze in place.
Her mind hadn’t caught up yet, but her body had already reacted directly.
"Ugh!"
Lin Zhiyi rushed into the bathroom and began to violently vomit until there was nothing left to throw up; then, she dragged herself to the sink.
As she raised her eyes to the mirror, her own face slowly overlapped with a numb and pale face.
Staring at the mirror, it seemed as if a shadowy figure loomed behind her, scaring her into turning around immediately.
But there was only a white wall behind her.
She ran out of the bathroom in panic, the room’s suggestive decor once again made her physically uncomfortable.
The round bed had a mirror overhead.
A row of cabinets were also mirrored on the outside.
The shape of the lounge chair was odd; it was neither comfortable for sitting nor for lying down.
Even the bay window was covered in water cushions, one could imagine the rocking motion of a person on it, and the entire figure was perfectly reflected in the window.
Even in the bathroom, everything was intentional, the shape of the bathtub, and the inexplicably dangling rings.
Lin Zhiyi clutched her throbbing head and wrapped the blanket from the bed tightly around herself, huddled in a corner.
After an unknown amount of time, the door opened, and Gong Yan walked in holding a cup.
"Zhiyi, it’s too cold outside; I had the servants make ginger tea."
Lin Zhiyi looked up, utterly baffled by Gong Yan.
Sometimes kind, sometimes furious, sometimes gentle, sometimes violent.
She glanced at the steaming ginger tea and said coldly, "I don’t need it, I’m not cold."
Gong Yan set down the cup and looked down imperiously at Lin Zhiyi.
Her black hair cascaded down her back, highlighting her skin that was as smooth as snow, and her charming, spirited face with eyes that were slightly red-rimmed, and the bottoms were misted with a thin layer of tears.
A single glance could make a man fall.
He slowly crouched down, gently smoothing Lin Zhiyi’s hair: "Zhiyi, you’re truly beautiful."
For some reason, when Lin Zhiyi heard these words, she immediately felt a chill run down her spine and quickly shifted her body to avoid him.
But a flash of annoyance crossed his eyes, and he grabbed Lin Zhiyi’s hair and pulled her in front of him.
A somber layer fell over his handsome face: "Zhiyi, do you realize how sad I was when I sent you into his room?"
"Sad? Sad that you didn’t manage to scheme successfully? Unfortunately, even if I clung to Uncle, he wouldn’t care about me, let alone give up any interests for my sake!" Lin Zhiyi retorted.
"Is that so? Then why are you still alive? Do you know how many women who tried to scheme against Gong Chen disappeared? They all vanished without a trace; you’re the only one who ended up on the internet and still stands before everyone. Otherwise, why would Grandpa be so anxious about your existence?"
At his words, Lin Zhiyi froze.
No, it wasn’t like this in her previous life!
After marriage, Gong Chen never treated her kindly; he refused to let her and her daughter be involved in any Gong Family affairs, completely excluding her.
Before Lin Zhiyi could think further, Gong Yan suddenly kissed her.
She raised her hand to block it, struggling with all her might, kicking and beating.
Gong Yan was completely enraged, grabbing her head and forcefully smashing it against a cabinet.
With a click, a cabinet door popped open.
When Lin Zhiyi saw the tools inside, her body went cold and she couldn’t move.
Gong Yan twisted her arm: "See that? Good, since you won’t drink the toast, you’ll have to drink the forfeit! I’ll teach you how to use them now so you won’t dislike it tonight."
"You... get away from me!"
Lin Zhiyi’s voice trembled as soon as she opened her mouth, hardly exerting any deterrent effect.
Gong Yan’s eyes were bloodshot, and even his neck was tinged with an eerie red. He pulled a belt from the middle cabinet and tied her hands with it.
Then, one hand tore at Lin Zhiyi’s clothes while the other roamed over her body.
Just as Lin Zhiyi was about to give in to despair, she noticed something was amiss.
Gong Yan showed no signs of a man’s reaction.
Not in the slightest.
She was caught off guard and stared at Gong Yan in surprise.
Gong Yan noticed her gaze, and looking down at Lin Zhiyi, veins popped out on his neck as if he were desperate yet unable to exert any strength.
Lin Zhiyi’s first thought was... he had taken drugs.
And even the drugs weren’t working.
Gong Yan flipped over to sit beside her, sneering, "Look down on me? This is all Gong Chen’s fault! When my father had a car accident, I was in the car. I jumped out and survived but was injured. Grandpa found out and immediately removed me from the line of succession!"
After speaking, he turned his head and glared at Lin Zhiyi.
She saw a sinister and twisted look in his eyes.
She instinctively tried to dodge, but he grabbed her in one move.
He sneered, "Today I purposely took an extra couple of pills. Looks like it still doesn’t work. But no matter, you can only be mine. I can do whatever I want, right?"
"Do you like this place, Zhiyi? I crafted it especially for you. Gong Chen stole everything from me, so now I’m going to have you help me take it all back."
Gong Yan smiled, released her, and left after straightening himself out.
Lin Zhiyi lay gasping for air on the ground, and although she tried to remain calm, tears involuntarily swirled in her eyes as she looked at the full cabinet of tools.
While she was still in shock, two maids with expressionless faces came in with clothes.
"The young master is hosting guests tonight and has sent us to help you change."
"I’m not going!" blurted out Lin Zhiyi.
The maids, impatient, yanked Lin Zhiyi’s body and forced her into a red mermaid gown.
At dinner time.
Under the watchful eye of bodyguards, Lin Zhiyi slowly descended the stairs, and the laughter of the men in the dining room abruptly halted.
Pair after pair of eyes stared at her, wolf-like.
Gong Yan, pointing to her on the staircase, tenderly smiled, "Zhiyi, come meet the people from the business association."
Every fiber of Lin Zhiyi’s being turned icy, and she finally understood what Gong Yan meant by using her to take everything back.
Bodyguards forced her to sit amongst the men, subjected to the inspection of five men’s gazes.
One of them raised a glass to Gong Yan, "I’ve seen the young master’s proposal, and it’s quite good. So, let’s have a pleasant cooperation."
Gong Yan’s smile was soft, "Of course, please don’t be shy, gentlemen. If you drink too much later, I’ll have Zhiyi escort you back to your rooms to rest."
The five men exchanged knowing smiles.
Lin Zhiyi glared angrily at the smiling Gong Yan across from her, feeling no surprise in her heart; it was as if all this had happened before.
Biting her lip, she abruptly rose, bumping the table, and the bodyguards behind immediately restrained her.
The leading man’s gaze lingered on her chest as he slowly put down his glass, "I feel a bit dizzy, I’ll go rest first."
"Me too."
The others put down their glasses and stood up.
Gong Yan swirled his glass, smiling, "Please."
Lin Zhiyi was yanked up by the bodyguards, and she coldly said, "Gong Yan! No wonder you’re a loser!"
"Shut up! Take her up!" Gong Yan ordered angrily.
Lin Zhiyi was pushed into the room, and the five men also entered, nodding in satisfaction at the setup.
"Let’s start, I can’t wait any longer."
Lin Zhiyi then pulled a knife from her sleeve.
Immediately, screams akin to slaughtering pigs echoed from the room.
"Ah!"
