Chapter 1664: Chapter 1658: You Are My Sister

"Munara, are you threatening me?" Qing Teng was infuriated. If Munara opposed her head-on, she could fight back, but as soon as Munara relented, she didn’t know how to deal with her.

That’s just how Qing Teng was. She could handle firm opposition, but when faced with someone who was gentle, she felt she lost her temper because there was simply no way to start an argument. She could only stew in frustration.

"How am I? You won’t take me, and you won’t let me go by myself?" Munara was indeed threatening her. Since she didn’t respond to the hard approach, she’d go soft. If the soft approach didn’t work, she didn’t know what else to do; she truly didn’t want to go back.

"Suit yourself, young miss. Let’s go, ladies." Qing Teng left those words and walked away.

Qin Xue and Nangong Beiying exchanged a glance and raised an eyebrow. It seemed that the relationship between Munara and Qing Teng wasn’t shallow. There might be some unknown details about them.

"Alright." Qin Xue nodded and then left.

Munara followed behind them, sticking out her tongue and making a funny face. She knew Qing Teng wouldn’t just stand by and watch her be in danger.

This sister truly didn’t mislead her. On the surface, she seemed cold and unapproachable, but inside, she was such a kind person. She almost missed having such a good sister, luckily she came along.

Gong Wuyou looked at Qing Teng, who was stewing in anger ahead, and then closed his eyes, lost in thought.

The others acted as if they didn’t notice the tension between Qing Teng and Munara, each focused on their own path.

"Phew, finally we’re out, that was really tough." Munara cheered happily. Looking at the bustling scene outside, she had never seen such a world before. So this is what it’s like outside.

"Are you really that happy?" Qing Teng’s voice was emotionless.

"Of course, you can never see such a scene in the village. If I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn’t know the real world is like this." Munara had never been out before. Her father had planned to find her a husband, but she didn’t want that, so she thought to have Qing Teng marry first. Who knew it would end like this, with them leaving together.

"What you see may not be reality. Out here is not like in the village. Here, no one treats you like a young lady, no one caters to your wishes, and no one flatters you. I really don’t know why you insisted on coming out. Wouldn’t it be better to stay in the village as the young lady and protector?" Qing Teng looked into the distance. It was unclear if she was lamenting for Munara or teaching her, but she spoke her mind nonetheless.

"I’ll remember that." Munara looked at Qing Teng unexpectedly. She was warning her to be careful of deceit.

Does that mean when Qing Teng came out years ago, she endured a lot of hardships? She must have felt helpless and scared back then.

"Are you okay, sis?" Munara looked at Qing Teng, who was daydreaming. Moments ago, she was fine; why was she suddenly lost in thought?

"Don’t call me sis after this." Qing Teng left these words and turned to go back to Qin Xue. She was foolish to come and say these things. Why did she agree to let Munara follow her out? Wasn’t this inviting trouble?

"What should I call you if not sis? Anyway, you are my sister." Munara was stubborn. No matter what Qing Teng said, she wouldn’t change her mind once she decided.

Initially, she wouldn’t have said anything because she was too embarrassed. But that night, the moment she called her ’sis,’ she knew she had accepted her as her sister.
