Early the next morning, Wu Liang set out from home.

In the morning, Ye Hao went out for his morning exercise.

As he opened the courtyard gate, Wu Liang stood outside, looking pitifully at Ye Hao.

"Brother Ye Hao, I’m here to see Qianqian. Is she at home?"

Seeing that Ye Hao didn’t seem to want to ask him anything, Wu Liang quickly stepped forward and spoke.

"So you just stayed outside longer?"

"My wife knows me well."

Wu Liang saw Ye Qian and immediately walked up to her.

"Qianqian, my mom came by; hope she didn’t scare you. Sorry about that."

But as soon as Ye Qian saw him approach, she instinctively stepped back.

Ye Qian suddenly thought the person before her seemed too fake.

"You just stand outside, and let’s clear the air today."

Wu Liang heard Ye Qian’s stern words and knew she was still angry about his mom’s visit.

"I believe it should be made clear. I, Ye Qian, am not interested in you, Wu Liang, and I have no intention of marrying you. Please remember that, and kindly convey this to your family. Don’t come to my home creating problems over something that never happened. Your mom got away quickly yesterday; otherwise, you’d be having to find her at the police station now."

The more Ye Qian spoke, the angrier she became.

"Qianqian, are you saying this because of my mom, or because your family doesn’t agree with us being together?"

Wu Liang pretended to be heartbroken.

"It’s not because of anyone. I just wanted to make it clear to you to prevent any misunderstandings."

Ye Qian is now particularly determined that they really are not suitable at all.

"Do you really want it to be like this?"

Ye Qian said and then shut the courtyard gate.

"Well done, that’s the Ye Qian I know."

While Ye Qian and Wu Liang were talking, Ye Hao wanted to come over.

But Gu Yi stopped him.

Gu Yi thought it would be better for Ye Qian to make a decision about these matters herself. If others got involved, and Ye Qian regretted it later, she’d feel like she was coerced into saying those things.

But when Gu Yi saw Ye Qian had closed the gate, she walked over and patted Ye Qian on the back.

"You’re blaming me for this? Would it have come to this if it weren’t for your attitudes?"

Wu Liang also got angry and suddenly shoved his dad angrily, shouting.

His parents were stunned by his outburst.

"There are plenty of girls out there. Why should I grovel for her? Just wait; I’ll bring home someone rich and pretty."

Wu Liang said that and walked back to his room.
