Upon hearing that Gu had begun to console himself, Guo Jinnian snorted, "Gu Hongwei, do you look down on the small amount of money I have?"

Tong Yao held back a laugh. Her gaze lingered on the two of them, thinking: these two are like small love-hate partners.

Gu Hongwei spoke honestly, "It’s not that I look down on it, it’s that our little money can’t sustain this business. If the business really takes off and the subsequent funds break, we will be as uncomfortable as being barbecued on a furnace."

If the business really takes off, then the money invested will be all their savings. What if it all gets lost? What will they do then?

Tong Yao laughed. Suddenly the phone rang in the hall. Tong Yao picked it up. On the other end was Fu Sen, "Hello, I’m Fu Sen, calling for Miss Tong."

Tong Yao laughed lightly, "Hello, Mr. Fu, this is Tong Yao."

Recognizing that it was Tong Yao on the other end, Fu Sen asked in a calm tone, "Miss Tong, can I ask when the shipment from E Country will arrive in Kyoto?"

Fu Sen thought that after Si Chen had introduced them, Tong Yao would have contacted him quite quickly. But Tong Yao remained calm. It had been almost half a month and she hadn’t even called him once.

Even though he trusted Si Chen, Fu Sen was fully aware that in the business world, it was akin to a battlefield. If he relied solely on trust to do business, he would be on the verge of bankruptcy.
