Chapter 129: Chapter 128: Mr. Han

Before leaving, Lin Wan asked Han Yi to put the wine they had brought over yesterday on the shelves.

The bride’s family runs a winery, so it wouldn’t be right to use someone else’s wine for the wedding.

Five boxes of wine, eight bottles in each box, three boxes of rice wine, two boxes of mulberry red wine.

Once the items were taken away, the mother and her two children returned to their usual activities.

Lin Wan doesn’t have many friends, so she asked Mom to inform Zhang Shuhua to make sure to come tomorrow.

Today, Lin Wan went to the winery to check things out; recently, the plums have been selling well, with a state-owned restaurant directly ordering twenty boxes.

August fifteenth is coming up, and some factories give out plenty of holiday welfare.

Lin Wan talked with Brother Li, asking them to visit the factories to see if anyone is willing to send out the wine.

"We can make a gift package with four bottles inside, either a mix of different types or just one or two types. They can choose freely. For four bottles, the price per box can be set at three yuan. If the quantity is large enough, it could go for two yuan and eighty cents."

"It’s a really good idea. I’ll ask a few friends today when I get back and see if they can help make some connections," Li Congnan agreed.

"I don’t know many people around here, and usually, I only run to those private restaurants and small shops. Little sister, I’ll leave the packaging matters to you. We’ll take samples of the packaging so others can see them."

"Okay, sure. Brother Jianye, the fruits are about to be off the market soon, so try to find some connections, and we can get more. Push for production."

"Alright, leave it to me." Li Jianye is now not only managing production but also keeping the accounts. He’s a local and familiar with where the fruit vendors offer cheaper prices.

After the group divided tasks, the brother and Brother Li went out directly. Lin Wan went straight to the printing factory.

The carton printing factory had plenty of samples, and Lin Wan picked one that was decent and gave them the required information. She ordered one thousand packages initially, with each package costing ten cents. After paying the deposit, Lin Wan went to the mall and bought a box of Clean & Fresh powder, an eyebrow pencil, and a lipstick.

Tomorrow is the wedding, so dressing up and makeup are inevitable.

In the evening, Lin Wan and her brother went to the restaurant. Lin Wan hadn’t had a chance to tell Xiao Gu and Aunt Gui about her wedding before Xiao Gu told her that they had taken a wedding banquet order today.

"Six tables aren’t much. That family wanted it urgently, so I didn’t have time to notify you, and our restaurant doesn’t have the fried dishes; they just liked our restaurant’s environment. I had no choice but to quickly write a menu for them." Lin Wan did not expect their hotpot restaurant to receive a wedding banquet order, and it’s even tomorrow; she’s getting married tomorrow and won’t have time for cooking. Aunt Gui and Aunt Liu’s skills are limited, not sure if it’ll work. "Can I see the menu?"

Xiao Gu pulled out a menu and handed it to Lin Wan "Two cold dishes, cucumber salad, pickled radishes, four hot dishes, vegetarian three treasures, hasselback shrimp cake, sausage with fragrant celery, ’the cowboy meets the weaver girl’ (it’s made with mushroom, snow vegetable, and fried soybean sprouts). The hot dishes include two meat and two vegetarian dishes, followed by scallion-flavored jewel fish, mandarin duck chicken, egg soup, fish meatball soup, and sweet rice soup, ending with a selection of healthy seasonal vegetables, with twelve dishes in total, including both vegetables and soups."

Lin Wan glanced at the menu and smiled "Did you come up with these names yourself?"

Xiao Gu scratched his head in embarrassment and said, "Yes, I priced it at eighteen yuan per table. I’ve calculated that since they’re bringing their own alcohol, our profit per table is roughly five yuan. What I’ve listed, Aunt Gui and Aunt Liu are skilled at, only the fish and mandarin duck chicken need Sister Xiao Wan to make."

Lin Wan shook her head "No, I’m getting married tomorrow. I actually came today to tell you about it."

"Ah, Sister Xiao Wan is getting married?" Xiao Gu was so surprised that his voice was rather loud, and several waiters outside heard it.

They ran over to ask more.

Lin Wan briefly explained her situation to them.

"We have our own restaurant, it’s a shame not to hold the wedding here," Xiao Yu thought the groom was a bit silly.

"Haha," Lin Wan chuckled. Han Yi seemed to think their restaurant was only on the military district’s side of town.
