The caller was Li Jie, the class monitor of Luo Jinzhi’s high school graduating class.

Luo Jinzhi did not have a good impression of this class monitor. He was a typical opportunist, disregarding her in university after seeing that Luo Jinzhi came from a poor family. Even when Luo Jinzhi got into a university and went to S City, Li Jie never paid her any attention and didn’t even notify her of the annual class meetings.
