Early the next morning, Huo Sining was already on her way out with the antidote in hand.

She had Wu Jun guide her to the rental housing in the resettlement area. As soon as they knocked on the door, someone inside cautiously opened a crack, "Who is it?"

"It’s me," Huo Sining said indifferently.

The door flung open abruptly, and Xu Lian stood in front of Huo Sining, seething with anger, "You dare to come here?! Bitch, haven’t you made us miserable enough?"

Xu Lian’s gaze flickered, "We were just traveling here. S City isn’t owned by you, you can come here, so why can’t we?"

Huo Sining chuckled derisively, turning to look at Huo Yong who averted his head with a glance that bore a hint of guilt and unnaturalness on his face.

Just then, Huo Longjiang, who had been silently coiled up on the coach, suddenly leapt up and began pummeling Huo Sining with a flurry of punches and kicks,

"You damn girl, bitch, hurry up and cure our sickness! And that big villa is mine; you better move us in right away, or don’t blame me for not being polite to you!"

Huo Sining’s heart turned cold. Huo Longjiang was young, how could he know about any big villa? Those words had to have been taught by Xu Lian. Xu Lian indeed had grand schemes, not only seizing the hundred thousand savings left by her mother but now also wanting to take her house.

"You think that big villa is yours? Then what else do you think is yours?" Huo Sining asked with a mocking smile.

Huo Longjiang couldn’t read between the lines of Huo Sining’s words and thought Huo Sining was really going to give him the items, so his eyes swiveled with pride as he said:

"As a woman without a husband, since you bear the Huo surname, all those things belong to the Huo family. Your house, shops, and even your shares are all ours!"

Although Huo Longjiang was playful, he had an excellent memory. Xu Lian had only mentioned it once in front of him and Liu Meiling, and he remembered it all, even though he didn’t know what shares were. But he could tell from Xu Lian’s tone that shares must be something very valuable. So now that Huo Sining asked, he blurted out everything at once.
